1. What changed?
Texas is investing $100 million to address its child care subsidy waitlist and help more families enroll their children in early childhood education programs.

Families earning at or below 85% of the State Median Income (SMI) may qualify. Plus, early childhood education (ECE) teachers will receive priority consideration – supporting those who support our kids!

Subsidies apply for children from birth through age 12, including after-school programs for school-aged children.

4. How much can families save?

Depending on your situation, your child care costs could be fully or mostly covered, making high-quality care more affordable than ever.

5. How do families apply?
Start by logging in or creating an account on Texas Child Care Connections (TX3C) to check eligibility and begin the application process.
