New York State Pre-K is a free or low-cost state-funded program* offered at select KinderCare® centers to eligible families.

How to Apply 

 

NYC residents. Follow these steps to apply for NYC Pre-K for All. You will need a site code to complete your application. Tribeca (MCDL), FiDi NYC (MCDZ), Cobble Hill (KEAW). See if you're eligible.

  • Apply through the MySchools portal.
  • Submit required information and documents.
  • Select KinderCare as your preferred provider and enter the correct site code.
  • If selected, the center team helps you complete enrollment.

New York State residents outside NYC. Follow these steps to apply for New York State Pre-K. See if you're eligible.

  • Apply through your local school district.
  • Submit required information and documents.
  • The district reviews eligibility and assigns placement.
  • If placed, we help you complete enrollment
