AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited - nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference, and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

What Learning Looks Like

Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.

Ryan Road KinderCare Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)

Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and ready to explore their world.

Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)

Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.

Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)

This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step: kindergarten!

Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)

When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language, math, science, Spanish, and social skills.

Before- and After-School Programs (5–12 Years)

You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!

School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused on fun. We welcome children ages 5–12 during school break times and make sure they have a sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.

Participating Child Care Aware Center

KinderCare partners with Child Care Aware® of America to offer fee assistance for Active Duty military families and flexible support to fit their needs when care at a Child Development Center on the installation is not available.

Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program

Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)

In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication, and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!

Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)

KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math, science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare way of learning the foundations of music.

Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)

Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program. From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we have the data to prove it.)

Our Teachers

We're the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn't enough though. KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply, we love our teachers and your child will, too.

Family Stories

Don't take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!

  • Our children have been attending KinderCare for just over a year now. All of the staff and teachers are very professional, caring, and dedicated. Their current teacher, Ms. Jasmine, is always so pleasant and you can really tell she and all of the teachers have your child's best interest at heart. I absolutely love how up-to-date we are kept with how their day went and the educational activities that they do each day.

  • Our family has had the pleasure of working with Ms. Jasmine for almost a year now and she has been every bit of fantastic. She joined the center as a teacher when our daughter was in the infant room and was always warm, friendly, easy to talk to, and it was clear how much she cared about our daughter's well being and progress. She was especially vigilant while our daughter was battling several early food allergies. When she grew out of them, Ms. Jasmine was very excited for her and a great partner in reincorporating foods. We were lucky enough that she was promoted to the lead teacher role in Toddler A so our daughter moved along with her. Just today, she called me to share some developmental milestones that she had observed and she was just as excited as me. Her passion for what she does is apparent in her work and we are grateful to have such warm and loving care.

  • My son, Jacob, has been in child care for over four years. As a parent, my decision to choose KinderCare was that the environment promotes values, ethics, and a positive learning atmosphere. After trying home-based child care and Montessori-based care centers, we've returned to KinderCare for the variety of programs, and for the dedication that the teachers have shown to the individual students. Jacob has taught our family the weather, phases of the moon, reminds us to use a tissue when needed, and that sharing is the right thing to do. Every week, I am amazed at the new topics that Jacob learns! It's very reassuring to know that my son is in a safe, happy environment that promotes the same values that we practice at home.

  • My daughter started at KinderCare when she was eight weeks old. We first went to look two months before she was born and knew right away that's where we wanted her. Throughout that time, I had a lot of questions and they were fantastic with responding quickly. Ms Erica in the infant room is amazing and made us feel so welcome and at ease. I love the projects they do with them, the individualized development plan for each child, and extra activities they plan for the entire center. Baby #2 will be starting there next year and I'm excited to have another child going through their first years with the support of the teachers and assistants. My daughter is currently in the toddler room and I'm always amazed at the things she learns (songs, counting, etc.). Their meals are nutritious (all meals included) and well balanced. I can't say enough great things!

  •  We enrolled our son in the Sterling Heights, MI KinderCare when he was one year old. Scared to leave our most cherished blessing with strangers we found comfort in the KinderCare program. We had toured and interviewed many, many other day cares only to come back to this KinderCare location. Over the past year we have found that they do a wonderful job in loving our son and making sure his needs are being met. As with any successful business, the leadership begins at the top. Kristen Kook is the director and she does a very good job of running this location. This location is always very clean and very orderly. She is on top of communication to the parents about upcoming events and is always available to take a call or an email. She plans lots of events at KinderCare for the parents to participate in; book readings, art shows, dinners, pot lucks for employees, and date nights for parents. She often knows personal details about my son's day even though she is not one of his teachers. Our son’s teachers are just as wonderful. Ms. Shazia is the lead in Toddler A, and she and everyone who has worked with our son (Ms. Lora, Ms. Alex, Ms. Nathalie) is constantly communicating with us about our son’s day; what he ate, who he played with, how his nap time went, and things that he enjoyed doing while he was in their care. Our son is always doing an art project, experiencing a new sensory, playing outside, listening to books, learning how to clean up, learning to use the potty, the list goes on and on.

Last month we made the mistake of leaving this location for a daycare that was much closer to our house. We assumed that all of these attributes would be similar at another day care and we were wrong. After less than one month at the 2nd day care we realized that comfort we had in Kristen’s program and all the teachers she employs was priceless and well worth the extra drive.

We are very comfortable leaving our son with his teachers we know he is safe and having a wonderful time. KinderCare’s business is taking care of our son and they are great at it.

  • My daughter started KinderCare and the staff is great! I love the staff and they are aware always of my child's needs and help communicate any concerns to us right away!

  • I have checked out a number of childcare facilities, and I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my children there until I found this KinderCare. KinderCare has offered an educational, social and safe environment for our three kids. The teachers are warm and caring. They were a tremendous help during the potty training of our two younger kids. They have helped our kids come out of their shell, especially my youngest son who is now very social and outgoing. They helped nurture their imaginations to encourage learning.

  • My son is almost 3 years old and he has been attending Ryan Road Kindercare since he has been 6 months old.  As a full time working mom, choosing the best child care facility for my son was an important decision and a big challenge, until I toured Kindercare.  I wanted more than just a ‘daycare’, I wanted a Learning Center.  I wanted a place where I felt secure leaving my child 4 to 5 days a week as well as a place that I knew would be emphasizing on the same things we do at home:  manners, compassion, imagination and most importantly education.  I love the curriculum and learning plans designed for the children and their age groups.  At 6 months old my son had a lesson plan!  They introduced him to so many things to sharpen his motor skills, communication with others, and problem solving and continue to challenge him every day.  My son loves the extra music and cooking classes!  I cannot wait until he starts the phonics classes!!  The teachers/staff at Ryan Road Kindercare are trusting, compassionate, knowledgeable, friendly, loving… I cannot say enough about them!!  Enrolling my son at the Ryan Road Kindercare has been one of the best decisions I have made for him!  I know he will be more than ready for kindergarten when the time comes!! Thank you Kristen, Danielle and ALL of the teachers for loving my son so much and treating him like he is your own!!
