AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED
We’re so proud!
Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited - nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference, and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY
What Learning Looks Like
Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.
Shrewsbury KinderCare Programs
Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)
Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and ready to explore their world.
Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)
Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.
Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)
This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them get used to a more structured school setting.
Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)
This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step: kindergarten!
Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)
When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language, math, science, Spanish, and social skills.
Kindergarten Programs (5–6 Years)
Welcome to kindergarten: the gateway to grade school and everything that comes next! Offered in select centers, our kindergarten programs have small class sizes and curriculums that mix learning and fun. The basic building blocks of reading, writing, math, and science are key in kindergarten, so we make sure they get lots of practice in all of these areas.
Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program
Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)
In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication, and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!
Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)
KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math, science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare way of learning the foundations of music.
Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)
Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program. From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we have the data to prove it.)
Spanish
Spanish Adventures provides young learners with a foundation for later success with the Spanish language. Music, games, children's Spanish literature, and other tools give children multiple opportunities to hear, practice, and see Spanish language to develop vocabulary and conversation skills. Curriculum includes lessons on greetings, numbers, colors, animals, family, body parts, and pets, as well as how to engage conversationally during common scenarios at home, a restaurant, or at the zoo.
STEM Innovators (3-8 Years)
You’ve probably heard a lot about how important STEM education is for your child, but what does that really mean? Our STEM Innovators program takes kids’ natural ability to make sense of the world and applies it to robotics, chemistry, coding, geology, and more. While your child experiments, they’ll discover how to use technology to do amazing things!

Throughout our endeavors in daycares, we have never found a daycare that cares so much about the well being and the interests of the kids. The staff at the Shrewsbury KinderCare are all very kind and go above and beyond to make the kids feel comfortable and at home. We receive emails almost daily in regards to whats going on throughout the daycare, the weather, construction next door, etc. On top of that the daycare offers so many programs outside of just the normal daily program such as Dance, Music and so much more. Anytime I need to get a hold of Jaime (Director) she is always quick to return my calls and if she isn't available Jenn (Assistant Director) is always available. This daycare is by far the best, and the only place I'd take my Daughter. I highly recommend Shrewsbury KinderCare.

We joined the KinderCare Shrewsbury family when our son was 2 months old. He is now 2.5 years old and thriving in Discovery Preschool. KinderCare offers high quality education through their devoted and caring staff. Our son has learned to love books and many other activities as the curriculum is enriched with art, music, cooking, and phonics classes, among other activities which help the child develop important skills. We have met wonderful teachers in KinderCare, many now our friends, and are delighted to have found such a well-rounded center close to home.

I would like to take a moment out of your busy day to discuss the excellent all around quality at the KinderCare Learning Center of Shrewsbury, MA. Our four year old son, has been attending Jaime Shepard’s KinderCare since he was fifteen months old. He is the center of our world; we went through a long journey to have him become part of our family as we adopted him in Russia. He is a very outgoing, gregarious, kind, fun loving and hug giving boy who is always quick to smile. We had looked at many options for his early learning arrangements and are delighted to have chosen the Shrewsbury KinderCare. Our son has grown immensely over time in all aspects; from writing to listening to playing and working with people. Jaime, Jenn Silva, Kelly, Noor, and Terry along with all the other staff at KinderCare show genuine caring and concern for their students. The jobs they do are not easy in any way, but they do the work with consistent excellence! We have peace of mind knowing that while our son is at KinderCare, he is safe and well taken care of, he is learning new things, playing with good friends and having fun. I would like to point out that while each person does a fantastic job, Jaime Shepard is a superb Center Director! She is very reliable and responsive in person, via phone and via e mail to any and all of our requests/situations. She leads by example; our country needs more people like her. We are always happy to promote and refer people to the KinderCare Learning Center programs.

I would like to acknowledge the exceptional care given to my baby at Kindercare, Shrewsbury. We put my daughter in KinderCare’s care when she was 10 months old. We had a lot of support from the staff, pulling through the various bouts of colds and diaper rashes that came and went. The quality of care given at the center equals or supersedes what I would be able to give my daughter at home. I get personalized care for my baby when I need it. She crossed many of her major milestones here…. she learned how to eat solids, fall asleep on her own and walk by watching her friends to the same. She is now a year old and progressing rapidly into saying her first words, learning new rhymes and reciprocating our love and emotions for her. The program at Kindercare constantly challenges her overall development. This was the first place I came across where Infants had their own “lesson plan”. It would be “leaves” one week or “feathers” the next which I am sure is a sensory explosion for the children. Jaime Shepard and Jenn Silva are always there, ready to greet me with a smile and a fun story of what my kid did at school, this lets me know that she is under constant care and supervision and sets my heart at ease. I work a full-time job, yet I don’t feel like I have been away from my child. There are weekly pictures and daily updates of the little things she has learned and done… Her teachers Ms. Ashley, Ms. Jenn B, Ms. Melanie and Ms. Jenn O keep challenging my daughter with new activities and good care. I love what they do to the classrooms which are so family oriented and lively. I can trust them completely with the care of my child. Kudos to the whole team, especially to Jamie for keeping it all together. Looking forward to many more colorful years and memories.

I wanted to take a moment to let you know what a pleasure it is to have my kids enrolled in the KinderCare Shrewsbury. Words cannot express my feelings and thanks for every KinderCare Shrewsbury teacher and staff person specially the center director Jaime Shephard. I am grateful for the loving care and guidance that my kids receive here daily. We started here a year ago and very day has been a great learning experience for my kids. My four year old loves to go to his (school) everyday because teachers here make learning so much fun. The center has been very helpful with all requests and special needs we have had . Jaime the center director and Jenn the assistant director shows special concern towards everything. The teachers Miss Kelly, Miss Nour, Miss Terry and Miss Irene update me on everything about my kids on a daily basis, and take that one on one time to make sure all my questions are answered. They are teaching my kids lifelong everyday knowledge essentials such as manners, importance of good hygiene, health, feelings, and compassion. The teachers really helped prepared my daughter for kindergarten. The repetition of the daily routine built confidence in her. She loved the summer time program that the center offered and can’t wait for next year. Now that my older two attend as after school they make sure to offer any help that they need doing their homework. Overall my whole experience at KinderCare Shrewsbury has been very positive but I would like to point out that from the first call and the first visit, Jaime has been very informative and has welcomed all of my questions. She goes out of her way to provide great Service, She is a great center director. I really do appreciate everything you do! I'm so happy my children and I are a part of your community! A million thanks to you! I want to thank everyone again at KinderCare Shrewsbury for taking great care of my children. I would recommend every mom to check the center out if you are looking for a great daycare.

I would like to thank all the Shrewsbury KinderCare staff for all their wonderful customer service every morning and every night when me and my son Karl are flying through the doors. Ms. Jamie and Ms. Jenn are always keeping the parents up to date with the 411 on the Shrewsbury Center news, and that's what keeps me on point as a parent of growing 4 year old boy. Ms. Nour is Karl's teacher and she is a star on all levels. She is engaged in making sure he learns about the community and also about the seasons winter, spring, summer and fall and the days of the week Monday through Sunday. Ms. Terry is the best! She rocks as a phonics leader and as a teacher that my son loves to talk to as he enters the KinderCare doors. I am so proud to be a parent of the KinderCare family. Keep up the good work!
