Knowledge Beginnings Princeton Programs
Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)
Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and ready to explore their world.
Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)
Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.
Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)
This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them get used to a more structured school setting.
Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)
This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step: kindergarten!
Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)
When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language, math, science, Spanish, and social skills.
Kindergarten Programs (5–6 Years)
Welcome to kindergarten: the gateway to grade school and everything that comes next! Offered in select centers, our kindergarten programs have small class sizes and curriculums that mix learning and fun. The basic building blocks of reading, writing, math, and science are key in kindergarten, so we make sure they get lots of practice in all of these areas.
Before- and After-School Programs (5–12 Years)
You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!
School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)
Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused on fun. We welcome children ages 5–12 during school break times and make sure they have a sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.
Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program
Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)
In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication, and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!
Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)
KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math, science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare way of learning the foundations of music.
Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)
Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program. From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we have the data to prove it.)
Spanish Adventures provides young learners with a foundation for later success with the Spanish language. Music, games, children's Spanish literature, and other tools give children multiple opportunities to hear, practice, and see Spanish language to develop vocabulary and conversation skills. Curriculum includes lessons on greetings, numbers, colors, animals, family, body parts, and pets, as well as how to engage conversationally during common scenarios at home, a restaurant, or at the zoo.
STEM Innovators (3-8 Years)
You’ve probably heard a lot about how important STEM education is for your child, but what does that really mean? Our STEM Innovators program takes kids’ natural ability to make sense of the world and applies it to robotics, chemistry, coding, geology, and more. While your child experiments, they’ll discover how to use technology to do amazing things!
“ My son started back at Knowledge Beginnings this week. I felt very confident and comfortable sending him back. Even before COVID, KB always felt like a clean and safe child care center. Drop off is easy, a lot of hand sanitizers, gloves temperature checks, and a safety questionnaire. One of the staff members meets you in the lobby and then escorts your child back into their classroom. Pick up is super easy as they bring your child out to your car so you don’t have to enter the center. Throughout the day we are kept updated by their app with pictures and videos of the daily activities. My son is always smiling and having fun. The last 3.5 months at home were super challenging and we were worried about my little guy returning to school. He’s been back for 3 days and we already see him back to the kid he was before being stuck in the house. He is 3 and it was basically impossible for me to get him to wear his mask. The first day at pick up he came out wearing his mask and didn’t want to take it off. Thanks KB!Show more
“ We have had a fabulous experience here at the 450 College Road East, Princeton - Knowledge Beginnings Center. The foundation of any good center begin with the Director and Assistant Director. Hilda and Courtney have are always there to greet you with a smile and set the tone on how the school is managed. They are incredibly responsive and will address any issue that are brought to their attention immediately to your satisfaction. The teachers follow suit and are always smiling and have a great disposition. My child absolutely loves going to school and never wants to stay home with grandparents, that may be visiting, if she can go to school instead. That illustrates how attached she is to the teachers and the other students at school and how much she enjoys it. She LOVES to learn in school. The school is always clean and they are always plenty of supplies for the kids. The playground is also well maintained and perfectly suited for the kids. Great facilities and an even better staff make is great environment for my child!Show more
“ I am very pleased with the professionalism of all the staff at Kinder Care. It has been a really positive experience for my daughter, she has improved very much socially and also she has learned so many new things. The teachers are kind, and take very good care of the kids. I find the center to be very clean and well kept. My daughter used to go to another day care and she was sick all the time. It's been almost a year since my daughter started going to KinderCare and she has been very healthy and happy! I have no complains!Show more
“ We would like to say "thank you" to the entire team of teachers from "Knowledge Beginnings" at Princeton for all their dedication, kind hearts and amazing job they did in taking care of our daughter, teaching her so many wonderful things, helping her discover and getting a better understanding of the world around her. “ Our daughter started at Knowledge Beginnings almost eight years ago, when she was 10 months old. Our experience was great, so last fall, when our son was 10 months old, the decision was a no-brainer: we chose Knowledge Beginnings again. The teachers, old and new, are wonderful, very caring, doing their best to make children feel at home. Our son is happy, and we have peace of mind. Priceless.Show more
“ Thank you all so much for everything you do for our little ones! The only time I ever see Lucas zoom off without even taking a look back is when he's with Miss Maria and Miss Olga - it's clear he feels very safe and loved. Thank you for putting in all the extra effort and time into enriching his experience, teaching him new skills, and sharing in the joy of his accomplishments. It really does take a village and Daniel and I are so grateful that we have your help in raising Lucas. Thank you!!Show more
“ First off, I just want to say thank you so much for being such a hard working staff and taking such excellent care of ALL of the children! When A.J. started last August, he was barely speaking and now he's talking up a storm and singing all of the nursery rhymes! All of your hard work isn't in vain we appreciate everyone from the Cook all the way to Mrs. Monika! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!Show more
“ Being a new mom for the first time is stressful enough. Add on top of that just 6 or 12 short weeks at home with your new precious bundle you're expected to go back to work. So what do you do with your child? How can you trust just anyone? Well Knowledge Beginnings in Princeton made that choice easy for me! Although nervous leaving my daughter for the first time, Miss Maria helped to ease my concern when dropping my daughter off. When I returned at the end of the day, my daughter was all smiles and happy to see me. Miss Maria and Miss Olga documented the whole day and even shared pictures and a video with me.It's been a month now and we are on a regular routine and Payton loves going to school! She's already learned so much and she's only four months old! From story time to touching snow for the first time to a calendar of events and daily activities I know I made the right choice. She is not only watched, she is paid attention to. Every morning I drop her off I'm asked how her night was. Learning and playing are nurtured. It's just a happy place to be. All the teachers are so friendly and you can see they truly love their jobs and the children. Thank you Knowledge Beginnings for making my transition back to work easy and for taking such good care of my peanut!!!Show more
“ Ms. Nicole never ceases to amaze me with her patience and love for the children. Mr. Nick is awesome as well! I don’t know how he does it. The kids are very good during story time as well as lunch time. Handling that many little personalities would wear me out before the breakfast cart leaves the room. Please encourage all your teachers to keep up the great work!Show more
“ Princeton Knowledge Beginnings does it right. I have two children in the school and I have been very happy with everything there. The Director and Assistant Director are hands-on in their awareness of what goes on during the day within the classes and go in to help if needed. The teachers are in control of well-supervised activities which involve both fun and learning. My children are there part-time for ten hours a day and have no evidence of issues resulting from a day that is long for even many adults! The activities are well-planned and engaging for the ages of the children. I was surprised to see that there is even a curriculum for infants and the teacher makes sure they are exposed to sensory activities, group time and time to work on fine and gross motor skills each day. I definitely recommend Princeton Knowledge Beginnings as a safe, friendly, welcoming, comprehensive education that goes far beyond ‘daycare’.Show more
“ I truly would like to recognize the teachers assigned to the all the Infants at Knowledge Beginnings. Placing a newborn child into someone else’s care is a very difficult decision for any parent to make. I have never had to worry about anything pertaining to how my son is being cared for. I have seen first hand how loving and caring all the teachers are to each child they have in their classroom and in return, I have seen how much the children truly love each of them. The professionalism, care and all around concern shown to/for the children is seen by all they encounter and are absolutely a great leadership team for this facility. Thank you to all of Jackson’s teachers for all they do each and everyday to ensure they happiness and safety of my most precious little boy.Show more
