AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED
We’re so proud!
Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited - nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference, and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY
What Learning Looks Like
Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.
KinderCare at Town Center Programs
Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)
Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and ready to explore their world.
Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)
Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.
Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)
This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them get used to a more structured school setting.
Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)
This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step: kindergarten!
Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)
When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language, math, science, Spanish, and social skills.
Before- and After-School Programs (5–12 Years)
You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!
School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)
Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused on fun. We welcome children ages 5–12 during school break times and make sure they have a sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.
Participating Child Care Aware Center
KinderCare partners with Child Care Aware® of America to offer fee assistance for Active Duty military families and flexible support to fit their needs when care at a Child Development Center on the installation is not available.
Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program
Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)
In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication, and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!
Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)
KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math, science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare way of learning the foundations of music.
Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)
Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program. From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we have the data to prove it.)
STEM Innovators (3-8 Years)
You’ve probably heard a lot about how important STEM education is for your child, but what does that really mean? Our STEM Innovators program takes kids’ natural ability to make sense of the world and applies it to robotics, chemistry, coding, geology, and more. While your child experiments, they’ll discover how to use technology to do amazing things!

An Artist's Heart
"My classroom is full of art!” says Mary Annthipie-Bane, an award-winning early childhood educator at KinderCare. Art and creative expression, she says, help children discover who they really are.

We put our best-in-class teachers in a best-in-class workplace. We're so proud to have been named one of Gallup's 37 winners of the Great Workplace Award. When you put great teachers in an engaging center, your children will experience an amazing place to learn and grow.

My twins and I absolutely adore KinderCare. From the first day, and every day since, the kids have been excited to arrive in the morning and sad to leave in the evenings. The staff, (including the teachers, administrators, cooks, etc.) make me feel as though the kids are part of their family and they rejoice in every accomplishment right along with me. I have never had one moment of worry or concern about the kids while they were at KinderCare, and I have recommended them to a number of my friends.

Choosing a place to send my two month old baby was daunting because my husband passed away unexpectedly at that time and he was supposed to be the primary caregiver. In the midst of my shock and grief, I visited Kindercare and met with the director. She was very reassuring and patient with all of my questions and concerns. My baby thrived in the infant room. She formed bonds with several of the teachers. She is so happy there. She is now in the toddler room and is enjoying going to daycare every day. The staff is very accommodating and full of energy and smiles. Ms. Kathy, Ms. Farzi, and Ms. Lisa are dedicated to making the children (and parents) feel comfortable and safe. I am glad that I decided to send my baby to this kindercare. I know my husband would have been happy to see how much my baby is growing and learning too.

KinderCare changed our lives… in less than a month from the time our son started daycare, we witnessed dramatic improvement in his socialization skills - he is now interacting, happily playing with other children and he is more comfortable being with other people. He is more self-sufficient eating his own meals and just being more independent overall. As full-time working parents, we are naturally concerned about our son's daily development, but we are confident that his teachers care for him not only on a superficial level but aims to better him physiologically, socially, intellectually, and beyond.

I absolutely love your school! It provides a warm and nurturing environment for the children, and the staff communication with parents is positive. As a Grandmother of two of your students and a retired teacher and school administrator, I am overwhelmed by the positive attitude of the entire staff and how each child and their family become part of the KinderCare family. I know that my Grandchildren are safe and learning in a wonderful preschool environment. Whenever I visit, the entire staff is upbeat and positive. They love their jobs- teaching our children!

All three of my children have attended kinderCare over the past six years now, and every minute has been a positive experience for all of us. The center itself is very clean and inviting and the center's staff is outstanding. The Director, teachers, and support staff are all wonderful. They are always professional, engaging and loving. There is a genuine desire to make sure my children experience a safe, educational and fun day - everyday! I am not sure how they do it but the center's staff manages to provide that personal, loving and safe feel of an in-home daycare center with all the perks of a corporate center like Picture Day, Muffins with Mom, Donuts with Dad, and Learning Adventures, The staff always gives their all, whether it is experienced through the little things like "Cookie Friday's" or during big events like their Summer Kickoff Party. The quality of childcare that my family has received at KinderCare Town Center has been fantastic and I gladly recommended them to any family!

I have a great story that I just have to share with you! Last week, we took Brody for a speech evaluation. It was ran through Montgomery County Board of Ed/Child Find. Even though we were only interested in getting his speed assessed, he needed to go through the whole process (they use Dial 4), which included several different stations (motor skills, language skills, problem solving, etc) all facilitated by specialists in each field.
At the conclusion, the specialists do a panel conversation with the parents & go through the scores. Brody ranked SUPERIOR (proud mom moment)!! They each complimented his overall knowledge and estimated he was at a 6 year old level in all areas. They said he will find kindergarten a breeze. They also said a lot of nice things about his confidence and comfort with them (he went by himself to each assessment, while most of the other children needed their parents to accompany them, and how he interacted with the other children (they also observed them play).
Tom & I walked out of there so happy... not only because they said his speech was fine, but because of our decision to send him (and keep him) in your KinderCare. Seriously.... he's been there since he was 12 weeks old! He's been in every single classroom around the building! He's been well cared for, safe, loved... which are the most important things when they're that little, but overall his education has been great. Each of his teachers have been awesome, we could not be more pleased. We especially love the fact that he gets to take advantage of all the "extras" like phonics, handwriting, music, cooking... no other daycare offers anything close to it.
You & your staff have become like a second family to us. Last week at Trunk or Treat, Tom and I were so sad because we realized it was our last one.
I know this was long winded.. but a HUGE THANK YOU!! Please pass the gratitude along to your team.”Lisa G. - KinderCare Parent

To Ms. Kathy and her staff, especially Ms. Sheeba,
As you have known me for the last several years, I am not one of those parents who often write a warm and fuzzy thank you emails. However, I have to express our appreciation to all of you who have helped us raise Kimiko up till today.
I had Kimiko's very first conference with her Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. LaRocca. She has been a Kindergarten teacher at Laytonsville Elementary School for at least twenty years. Prior to that, she was teaching at Lake Seneca Elementary School in Germantown. One of her sons is a PE teacher at Waterslanding Elementary School in Germantown. With all that being said, she asked me where Kimiko received her pre-K education. She was honest to tell me that there are two other children who can read better than she can in her class, and they are montessori school graduates. She also confirmed that her peers and she expect good academic performance from those children who graduated from montessori school usually. However, she further explained how important it is to teach our children other things, such as respect and caring manners. She was impressed how well-rounded Kimiko is and wanted to know where she had been cared previously. When I told her where Kimiko belonged for the last four years, she informed me that her son also noticed great behaviors from those children who came from our center. This is amazing!!!
My husband and I are aware that we have much more work to do. However, we are forever more thankful for all you have done. We strive to carry on your hard work. Thank you.”Masra and shiho - KinderCare Parent
