AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited - nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference, and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

What Learning Looks Like

Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.

Knowledge Beginnings South Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)

Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and ready to explore their world.

Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)

Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.

Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)

This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step: kindergarten!

Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)

When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language, math, science, Spanish, and social skills.

Kindergarten Programs (5–6 Years)

Welcome to kindergarten: the gateway to grade school and everything that comes next! Offered in select centers, our kindergarten programs have small class sizes and curriculums that mix learning and fun. The basic building blocks of reading, writing, math, and science are key in kindergarten, so we make sure they get lots of practice in all of these areas.

Interactive Kindergarten (5–6 Years)

Kindergarten is a critical year for young learners. Experienced KinderCare teachers will tap into your child’s natural curiosity to help get them even more prepared for elementary school. Our engaging lessons make the most of current technology while offering plenty of hands-on play and exploration.

School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused on fun. We welcome children ages 5–12 during school break times and make sure they have a sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.

Participating Child Care Aware Center

KinderCare partners with Child Care Aware® of America to offer fee assistance for Active Duty military families and flexible support to fit their needs when care at a Child Development Center on the installation is not available.

Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program

Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)

In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication, and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!

Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)

KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math, science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare way of learning the foundations of music.

Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)

Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program. From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we have the data to prove it.)

STEM Innovators (3-8 Years)

You’ve probably heard a lot about how important STEM education is for your child, but what does that really mean? Our STEM Innovators program takes kids’ natural ability to make sense of the world and applies it to robotics, chemistry, coding, geology, and more. While your child experiments, they’ll discover how to use technology to do amazing things!

Family Stories

Don't take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!

  • My husband and I had a difficult decision to make on which childcare to choose for our daughter when she was two. However, after meeting with Miss Diane, Miss Robin and the teachers at Knowledge Beginnings South in Chelmsford, MA, we were quickly put at ease. We could tell even before finishing our first tour, that it would be a happy, fun, safe, and nurturing school for our child. When our daughter started in the toddler class two years ago, Miss Nicole, Miss Stacy, Miss Aimee, Miss Mary and Miss Kelsey did a great job on helping her to the big adjustment in her life. Very quickly they became more like an extended family to us. Our daughter was always happy the minute she got into the classroom. After seven months of putting her in daycare, we have seen our daughter develop and grow significantly in the areas of social skills, independence, confidence, intelligence and overall personality. At out Christmas family reunion, our relatives were so amazed at how much she has learned in seven months. Last year, Toddlers to Preschool, was the second big adjustment in our daughter's life. She has been growing even faster in social skills, independence, confidence, intelligence and overall personality. From the way she reads, writes, sings, dances, tells us what to do and not to do; I can see lots of positive affections from her teacher. I was so proud that age three and half, she is the only one that can count to 30 and write her name among five of the same age kids at out church. We can never ever thank you enough Miss Rachel, Miss Nicole, Miss Aggie and Miss Debby! My husband and I often think how fortunate we are to have such a wonderful & safe place for our daughter to spend her time while we are at work. The teachers are so knowledgeable and loving!

  • We have two girls who have both been at Knowledge Beginnings South since they were infants. Ever since we first visited this daycare until now, we are continuously experiencing the love and dedication all the teachers express with our girls.

We have always felt that Knowledge Beginnings is the safest place for them where they are kept happy outside of our home. They have developed very strong bonds with all the teachers throughout the years and have learned a lot at a very fast pace. We have so many teachers to thank who have contributed to their healthy growth and development; each and every one of them has cared for our children as if they were their own. Miss Diane and Miss Robin are doing a great job with the curriculum and continuously succeed at staffing Knowledge Beginnings with gifted teachers.

The Kindergarten program is a gem at Knowledge Beginning. A large part of its success is due to Miss Lindsay's passion and dedication to children's learning. She takes great pride in their achievements, adapts to every individual child's pace, character, needs, and always encourages them to challenge themselves. We could not have picked a better Kindergarten program for our child.

Overall, we believe Knowledge Beginnings has been the best place we could have chosen for our kids. We will be sad when they grow up and have to leave, but will forever be thankful for all the years they have spent with the knowledgeable, wonderful staff at Knowledge Beginnings!
