Brain-Building Activity #4: Laugh Out Loud 

Getting dressed? Have a grand old time with this (really) silly game that’ll have your toddler in stitches. To get started, simply help your child get dressed—but dress him backward and upside down! Put a sock on his hand and ask, “Is that where it goes?” Put his pants on his head and ask again. Be serious (your kiddo will find it hilarious). Keep going until you either tire of the joke or have to get to work.

What’s so funny? This game helps your child make connections (Pants go on your legs, not on your head!). He laughs when things don’t go together and he's proud to be making sense of the world around him. Plus, it never hurts to have a sense of humor.
