It’s summertime, and you know what that means: More time outdoors exercising and having fun (hooray!). But on the flipside, that also means dehydration can set in a lot more quickly—a big problem since the human body is made up of 60–70% water and needs plenty of H2O intake to function well.

Your little one will probably ask for juices or sodas because she’s looking for some fun flavors, but all the extra calories, sugar, and preservatives make them a poor choice. 1. Cucumber + Mint Infused Cooler

In a large pitcher, combine:

  • 64 ounces of water
  • 1 small cucumber, sliced
  • 1 sprig of mint

2. Strawberry + Lemon Infused Cooler

In a large pitcher, combine:

  • 64 ounces of water
  • 1–2 lemons, sliced
  • 6 strawberries, whole or halved

3. Raspberry + Lemon + Mint Infused Water

In a large pitcher, combine:

  • 64 ounces of water
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 8 raspberries
  • 1 sprig of mint

4. Homemade Strawberry Soda (No added sugar!) 

In a glass, stir together:

  • Muddled strawberries
  • Crushed ice
  • Soda water

5.  Homemade Citrus Soda (No added sugar!)

A. In a glass, combine:

  • 1 part all-natural orange juice
  • 1 part all-natural grapefruit juice
  • 1 part soda water

B. Stir ingredients and add ice.
