We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited - nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference, and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

What Learning Looks Like

Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.

Our Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks - 1 year)

Babies grow and learn every day. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing "home away from home" where babies can explore and make new discoveries. We know that learning through play is extremely valuable at this age and our Early Foundations® Infant program is designed to give babies the skills that will serve as the building blocks for a lifetime of learning.

Toddler Programs (1 – 2 Years)

As toddlers develop friendships, self-esteem, and curiosity, our Early Foundations® Toddler program will help them explore their world in a safe and nurturing environment. Our unique curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best through experiences. So each day is filled with fun activities that excite and develop toddlers, giving them the comfort and confidence to speak those first few important words, as well as make their first friends.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2 – 3 Years)

At this age, children are making new discoveries daily. And as two-year olds begin to exert their independence, our Early Foundations® Discovery Preschool program is prepared to open their eyes to a world of learning, sharing, and exploring. Our holistic approach in the classroom engages young minds with a blend of music, art, and movement, as well as the early education fundamentals they'll need as they continue on to preschool.

Preschool Programs (3 – 4 Years)

As preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they may feel ready to take on the world. Our Early Foundations® Preschool program enhances that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and lifelong learners. Through independent exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, children will work on early literacy, math, science, and social studies concepts. A healthy dose of running, jumping, and dancing keeps them active too.

Prekindergarten Programs (4 – 5 Years)

Prekindergartners are preparing for the adventure of a lifetime – school. And our Early Foundations Prekindergarten® program is designed to get them ready by teaching letters and words, math concepts, and valuable social skills. With small group instruction, independent play in an organized atmosphere, and whole-group activities, children will have all the right skills to hop, skip, and jump right into kindergarten.

Private Kindergarten Programs (5 – 6 Years)

As children reach school age, our comprehensive full-day kindergarten program helps them explore, communicate, and create – all in a nurturing, small-class setting. Our team of expert educators has created a unique curriculum of reading, language, arts, math, science, and physical fitness that’s presented in a fun way to encourage a lifelong love of learning. Plus, our program is aligned with local and state elementary school standards, so children will be prepared to confidently enter first grade.

Before- & After-School Programs (5 – 12 Years)

Even after school's out for the day, children need to be engaged in a comfortable, yet stimulating environment. That's where our Catch the Wave® program comes in. This innovative before – and after-school program allows school-age children to balance learning and fun through a variety of experiences. From homework help to fun physical activities, our program is designed so that everyone goes home happy.

Summer Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Don’t miss out on KinderCare’s Summer of Wonder: Six themed programs that will make summer exciting, educational and tons of fun. Whether your child is in our preschool, Pre-K or school-age programs, all of it is designed to help children learn while soaking up the fun. We offer flexible scheduling options to meet the needs of busy families like yours so we hope to see you there.

Participating Child Care Aware Center

KinderCare has partnered with Child Care Aware® of America in an effort to offer fee assistance for Active Duty military families and solutions to their child care needs when care at a Child Development Center on the installation is not available.

Elementary School Distance Learning

Healthy bodies, happy hearts, growing minds. We make distance learning easy on your whole family! Our teachers are trained to facilitate safe and dynamic learning experiences online and in-person. Since every school has their own learning plan, we’ve added flexible enrollment options to meet your family’s needs. Whether you choose to enroll full-time, part-time, or before and after school, we’re here for you!

Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program

Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)

In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and develop a healthy relationship with food. Kids in this delightful and delicious program whip up everything from Southwest rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication, and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!

Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)

KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning Adventures program: Music Explorers! Built entirely from scratch, our new program teaches kids to sing, move, listen, play instruments, and even create their own tunes. It blends math, science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare way of learning the foundations of music.

Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)

Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program. From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we have the data to prove it.)

STEM Innovators (3-8 Years)

You’ve probably heard a lot about how important STEM education is for your child, but what does that really mean? Our STEM Innovators program takes kids’ natural ability to make sense of the world and applies it to robotics, chemistry, coding, geology, and more. Your child will experiment with activities like learning how lemon juice and baking soda interact to uncover secret messages, watching fizzy reactions in action, and discovering how to use technology to do amazing things!

Tumbling Classes, Ballet Classes, Science Camp, Soccer Camp, T-Ball Camp

Our Teachers

We're the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn't enough though. KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply, we love our teachers and your child will, too.

An Artist's Heart

"My classroom is full of art!” says Mary Annthipie-Bane, an award-winning early childhood educator at KinderCare. Art and creative expression, she says, help children discover who they really are.

Our Families

Don't take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!

  • When we first toured Meridian KinderCare, my son was 11 months old. My first impression was that this was way out of our price range! That is to say, the building was not only neat and clean, but there was so many bright toys and learning areas in each classroom. It seemed way above the other centers that I had seen. When we toured the toddler A room, I was amazed that there was actually curriculum that they follow each day. As I put my son on the floor so he could explore a bit, the director got right down on the floor with him and talked to him. Of all the centers that I had toured that week, not ONE other childcare worker had even acknowledged my son or spoke to him. I knew in that moment that this was a very unique place and I would do anything to have my child in this center!!

We have now been with Meridian KinderCare for nearly seven years. My oldest child is in the school-age classroom and my younger son is in the preschool D room. We have made great sacrifices to have both our children grow up here. What makes it so special are the teachers and the family atmosphere they provide. The teachers are hand-picked for their love of children and that is very evident in each classroom. I know my children are LOVED, and they are well-taken-care-of. The atmosphere is a positive one and the teachers not only care for my children, but they also care for each other. I think it is so awesome that many of them are friends and they get together outside of work. I think that is something you don't find very often in a workplace.
My children absolutely love to go to Meridian KinderCare and it will be a sad day when my children have outgrown this special place. I am very blessed to have them play such a key role in our lives.

  • My daughter started at KinderCare a few weeks after her first birthday. She had never been in childcare previously, and I was very worried about going back to work and leaving her with someone. My nerves were quickly eased by the kind hearted staff and teachers at Meridian KinderCare. They welcomed my daughter and family with open arms. We quickly felt very comfortable leaving our daughter at this center/facility. My daughter is not in the PreA class and has learned so much. She looks forward to going to “school” every day and seeing her favorite teachers and friends. I believe her progress, skills, and knowledge are where they are due to the staff/teachers, activities, and curriculum at Meridian KinderCare. We wouldn’t think of a better place school/day care to have our daughter attend.

    Kimberly M. - KinderCare Parent
  • One of my biggest parenting decisions has been who I entrust to care for my children on a daily basis. Both of my children have attended Meridian KinderCare from the age of 5 months. The quality of care, communication and follow up reassure me that I have made the best decision for our family.
My daughter just started preschool and comes home daily talking about the letters she has learned and posting art projects around the house. Her transition to preschool had some challenges, but everyone involved in her care has individualized their approach to address any concerns or needs to assist with the transition.
My son has developed strong attachments to his teachers in the infant and toddler classrooms, which makes me so happy that he is lovingly cared for on a daily basis and he is happy in his classroom.
I travel out of town frequently for my career, having the peace of mind that my children are receiving high-quality, loving care provided by a group of highly-skilled professionals is invaluable. The management and teachers at Meridian KinderCare provide me that peace of mind!

  • Our story began Spring of 2010, our son was 16 months old when he started at KinderCare. It was hard for me on his first day at KinderCare as any parents would, new faces, new environment, new everything! With new firsts became new friends and many fun times. Throughout these years we've met new and wonderful people that touched our hearts and yet see them go. We have treasured all the wonderful people at KinderCare, families and staff alike. They have been amazing to us. I can defiantly say they are an extended family to us, sincerely!! Since 2012 our daughter also goes to KinderCare. It's been many wonderful years here and we love it. That's why it was even that much harder when our son started Kindergarten Fall 2014 and he said his goodbyes( but visits often ). Everyone has been very compassionate and up most caring people we've come to know and call family. We couldn't be more happier knowing our children are in a loving, learning and safe environment. I would highly recommend Meridian KinderCare to anyone. We've been truly blessed.

  • My son, who is 4, has been attending Meridian KinderCare since he was a little over one. As parents, we all wish that we would not need the services of a daycare for our children but the reality is that some of us do and subsequently are faced with the ever so important decision of finding a facility that will provide the love and care that they deserve, and gives us parents the peace of mind knowing that while we are away from them that they are being loved, that they are safe and secure and are learning to interact with other children of their peers. Meridian Kindercare offers additional programs that help nurture our children’s development, such as one to one learning classes, music, and even fun cooking classes. These classes have been advantageous to my son’s growth and his style of learning. Meridian KinderCare has more than met my expectation in these areas and I feel fortunate to have him at this center for several years now. He loves the friends he has made and the teachers that he has had. As a parent, you will never feel like you are being left in the dark with your child’s development, whether positive or negative, as the teachers make every effort to keep you informed on your child’s progression. Communication has been key to keeping up with my son’s learning and progress – from parent/teacher conference, to emails (with fun pictures taken throughout the day), to a simple “He’s had a great day” when I pick him. As for the center as a whole, the Administration has been stellar at keeping parents in the loops on changes that are taken place at the school, community, including events that are coming up. The Director, Kerstin, is phenomenal! She is definitely the glue that keeps the school/center, parents, and teachers together. I cannot thank Meridian KinderCare and the stuff enough for the love and care they have provided over the years.

  • My son has been going to Meridian KinderCare since he was 6 months old (he is now 5). Our (almost) 1 year old daughter also goes there. I can't imagine our life without KinderCare - After our daughter was born I would have never gone back to work if it weren't for them. I've never once worried about their safety or well being.

Through the years we have moved further away from Meridian KinderCare and just haven't been comfortable enough to change facilities. Between my husband and we add an extra hour and a half to our day to drop off / pick up. We even got a school district release so my son could do KinderCare's before and after school program. I couldn't imagine sending them anywhere else.

KinderCare's teachers are so loving. I've become attached to almost every single one of them. The summer activities and trips arranged for the 'bigger' kids is wonderful. My son still talks about last year's summer camp. They constantly come home with cute little projects they've made throughout the day. I even get weekly pictures of my daughter in the classroom while I'm at work.

The other day when I dropped my daughter off, I was holding her and when she saw Ms. Diana she actually lunged for Ms. Diana to hold her. She's never done this for anyone else with me holding her - Not even her Dad! I walked out of the room with a huge smile thinking what a good sign that is.

  • Thank you to Mrs. Marce for being such an amazing light in my son's life. You were such a positive influence on him and he will miss you. I hope you know how much the kids love and cherish you and I hope the happiness and care you give them comes back to you in many ways.

    Air U. - KinderCare Parent
  • To me the staff at KinderCare are not just teachers, they’re a part of our family. They take an active interest in our lives outside the classroom; they nurture and stimulate our children’s development and take joy in watching them grow. As a new mom I couldn’t imagine sending my baby to daycare. Now I can’t imagine sending my children anywhere else.

    Anja E. - KinderCare Parent
  • KinderCare is much more than just a childcare facility to us, we consider them extended family! Our journey with KinderCare began in 2008 when we enrolled our first foster child in the program. We can't imagine ourselves anywhere else. They greet not only our family, but any child in it with open arms. The staff takes time to get to know each and every one of our children and works hard to help them reach their full potential. I couldn't be happier with our decision to become a part of the KinderCare family and would highly recommend them to anyone who asks!

    Erika T. - KinderCare Parent
  • There is no greater testament to the quality of care that your kids receive when they run (literally) into the building on Monday morning to hug their teachers and tell them about their weekend. When you think that your kids spend more time with their caregivers than you during the week, and hour for hour spent with the caregiver/teacher in a 7 day period, you can't make a mistake. They are so impressionable, each experience shapes their little minds, and each one needs to be positive. Each of the teachers that have had the opportunity to get to know the Ferris kids have touched their lives in positive ways. My kids still walk by the other classrooms and wave to the teachers they've had. Our daughter was bragging the other day about getting to spend some time with Miss Mel (that was her teacher over a year ago, and she's only 3). It's true that to really know the needs of a school building, you should get to know each child by name, strength, and need. It is clear that you have done that, and not just in each of your classrooms but across the board, the staff at KinderCare Meridian know all of the kids by name, strength, and need. When you give out so much of your time, attention, and love to kids you become like family to them. Thank you for being a part of our family.

  • We have been part of the KinderCare family for five years. My first impression of KinderCare was "WOW! My child would love it here!" I knew we would join the family, no matter what it cost us, when the director got down on the floor to introduce herself to my son and then spent several minutes talking to him. I knew in that moment that my child was considered part of their family. My husband and I make great sacrifices to have our children at KinderCare. They are not only very well cared for, but they are also very much loved by all the teachers. That is very evident in their interactions with my kids, but also in their interactions with me. My kids LOVE to go to school!

    Heidi R. - KinderCare Parent
  • We have been attending KinderCare for over two years, and couldn’t ask for a better service, care, or education. As a matter of fact, we are sad that our son has to move on to first grade at a public school. KinderCare has done a phenomenal job preparing him to move on, but we will miss the experience we have had here. I have, and still will, recommend you guys to any person in search of childcare and education.

    April S. - KinderCare Parent
  • I have such a wonderful time here at KinderCare. The teachers are great and they always make sure no child is left behind. It is a great place and safe place for kids.

    Sharless H. - KinderCare Parent
  • As we introduced our three-year-old to KinderCare this fall, we were unsure how she would tolerate the transition. It only took a few days before she was looking forward to returning! Her teachers have shined and made her feel welcome and loved in our few months here. She's happy every day we pick her up, and she says wonderful things about her teachers. She's grown very attached to them in such a short time, and I'm thankful they seem to echo that sentiment towards our daughter as well. Ms. Pia, Ms. Roxy, and Ms. Sara are the caregivers our daughter comes home singing praises for, and we're so thankful to have such a great staff of people taking care of our daughter with as much love and affection as we do at home. It's truly comforting to know that these ladies genuinely love what they do, because it shows. Thank You!

    Heather A. - KinderCare Parent
  • The teacher's and staff at KinderCare are absolutely wonderful! Not only are they professional, but they are also passionate about teaching. Ms. Allison and Ms. Jana have really helped in my three year old's love for learning. She is always sharing with us songs they have learned in class and is always talking about the day she had. I love that the curriculum is posted each week so I can closely follow what she is learning. The staff is always helpful and friendly when it comes to any questions or concerns we have. We are more than please with our experience so far.

    Adrienne B. - KinderCare Parent
  • The first moment I walked into KinderCare I was impressed. The atmosphere was clearly focused on the children and their continuing development. ( and it was clean!) I continue to be impressed with the dedication of all my son's teachers who are so approachable and pleasant. Ms. Yee is amazing! I love the curriculum and the structure of the daily schedule. I am amazed at my son's progress in the time he has been at KinderCare. I am so glad I made the decision to enroll at KinderCare.

    Peta C. - KinderCare Parent
  • I would like to thank you and your staff for the quality of care you give to our children. We've been with KinderCare now for about a year and a half, and in that time we've had several instances when KinderCare staff have displayed their love and concern for the well-being of our kids. Our son presents certain challenges that can rattle even the most experienced caregivers, I know this. There are so many things I appreciate about KinderCare, particularly the center we use. I've been in childcare for nearly 12 years, and in that time I've been exposed to a wide variety of programs through the country. I've never come across a group of more caring, nurturing individuals that here at KinderCare. The infant room accepted him with open arms at 10 weeks old. To this day she still smiles and waves as we walk past. My son has made so much growth in the last few months. He brings home skills hes learning there almost daily. I hope that the staff that works with him knows how much i appreciate them. I know he is in a good place.

    Melissa F. - KinderCare Parent
  • I just had to take a moment and share this amazing photo Liv's teacher sent home today. She was so so excited to share it with us...and every other person that happened to look her general direction.
I wanted to write a quick note saying how very much our family appreciates all the work and effort that you and your staff put in to the summer programs. Olivia is having a GREAT time in her "Begindergarten" program and I really feel like this experience will help ease the transition into school next year. And Ethan, as always, continues to grow and thrive in Ms. Bonnie and Ms. Samantha's room. We love our center and are so grateful for such a wonderful group of people.

  • I am a parent, and my two daughters attend a KinderCare in Puyallup, WA. Specifically the school located on 10221 152nd Street East, Puyallup, WA 98374. I am writing to recognize one of my daughter's teachers, Ms. Shay. I want to say how amazing I think she is as a teacher. My youngest daughter, Ellie, has just blossomed since being with "Miss Teacher Shay" as Ellie calls her. Every night before bed she tells me things that she did in school that day. I am impressed by not only how much Ellie seems to enjoy going to school, but how organized and relevant the education she is receiving at KinderCare with Ms. Shay. From all I've seen at KinderCare and all of the amazing teachers, there is no doubt in my mind that my children will be well prepared to tackle kindergarten. Thank you so much to all the educators at our KinderCare.
