AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED
Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited - nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference, and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.
140th Avenue KinderCare Programs
Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)
Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and ready to explore their world.
Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)
Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.
Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)
This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them get used to a more structured school setting.
Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)
This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step: kindergarten!
Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)
When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language, math, science, Spanish, and social skills.
Before- and After-School Programs (5–12 Years)
You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!
School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)
Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused on fun. We welcome children ages 5–12 during school break times and make sure they have a sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.
Participating Child Care Aware Center
KinderCare partners with Child Care Aware® of America to offer fee assistance for Active Duty military families and flexible support to fit their needs when care at a Child Development Center on the installation is not available.
Florida Voluntary Prekindergarten Programs
Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program
Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)
In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication, and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!
Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)
Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program. From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we have the data to prove it.)
We're the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn't enough though. KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply, we love our teachers and your child will, too.
Meet just a few of our amazing KinderCare teachers!
A KINDERCARE TEACHER WITH
An Artist's Heart
"My classroom is full of art!” says Mary Annthipie-Bane, an award-winning early childhood educator at KinderCare. Art and creative expression, she says, help children discover who they really are.
We put our best-in-class teachers in a best-in-class workplace. We're so proud to have been named one of Gallup's 37 winners of the Great Workplace Award. When you put great teachers in an engaging center, your children will experience an amazing place to learn and grow.
Don't take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!
After almost 4 years our time here is coming to an end. We will be forever grateful to the staff at this center. The clean environment, the excellent education, the safety measures provided and most importantly the care and love shown to every single child went beyond our expectations. Diane has been a blessing to our family. She has provided an easy and open communication with us. Definitely an asset to this company. Thank you all for all you have done for our family. We will miss you dearly.”

I had to go back to work when my son was four months and it was the most difficult time for me I visited at least three times before leaving my baby for the first time. Everyone was so friendly and comforting. Ms. Diane would cheerfully answer all my phone calls to check on him during the day. Ms. Hanka and Ms. Yuly were his main teachers and would always show him lots of love. Ms. Mary was also in his class part-time and was great. Even when he transferred to the toddler class he would walk by his infant class and want to see his teachers. The transition from one class to the other was also very smooth. He would go half days until he got used to the new class. The teachers were always willing to work with you as he learned to eat solids while in school. I also only gave him breastmilk which some centers were opposed to. KinderCare was great about it as I gave him only breastmilk until he was six months then with solids until a year. They have an amazing app that you can see pictures and a full report of what he did all day. It is the most difficult time to have to leave your child with someone else and they really made it as easy as possible as I knew they really cared for him.”

One of the things I worried about after having kids was giving them good foundations when it came to their school. KinderCare provided more than that. My twins were there for 3 and a half years and they loved their red school; how they call it 'till this day. The patience, the love, the quality of education they provide to prepare the kids; I don't think it can be found any where else. I'm beyond thankful for all the teachers and all the staff. We miss you and we hope to see you again.”

I had a fantastic experience at my daughter's KinderCare. Diane was great and always on top of everything. My daughter loved her teacher. She would come home happy and talk about all that she learned and did. Her progress was noticeable and everyone was kind and loving. I would recommend KinderCare 100%!”

140th Ave KinderCare in Miami was a blessing for our family. The staff is so caring and loving. I trusted them from day one! I’m a new mom and felt heartbroken about having to leave my two-month-old baby. Gladly, I felt at ease at this KinderCare. Diane was awesome!! Same with the teachers we met the first day. Now my daughter is no longer at KinderCare due to us moving to another area, but I’m so glad they were there for my daughter and set good grounds for her development. At four months, she has good strength on her neck and arms. She’s also able to roll to the side and she’ll soon be crawling! :) Thank you 140th Ave KinderCare! I miss you all dearly.”

Our experience with KinderCare has been nothing short of exceptional. It began in the summer of 2011 with our first born. She entered the prekindergarten program eager and willing to learn, but having never left her home I was concerned about her adaptability to change. To my surprise, her thirst for knowledge was reciprocated with caring educators committed to her intellectual growth. These women worked patiently and devotedly with my daughter until she mastered all the skills presented in the center's curriculum. By graduation, she was 5 years old who knew how to read simple books! Today she continues to thrive in her kindergarten class; earning top achievements and performing above average in all her subjects. After observing the tremendously positive impact that KinderCare had on Sarah, we decided to register our son Ismael into the prekindergarten program of 2012-2013. We are halfway through the school year and already we are noticing the same transformation that his sister experienced the prior year. We are incredibly grateful to Diane and all the teachers at 140th Avenue KinderCare that have set such solid foundations for our children's educational futures. God bless you all always!”

KinderCare holds a special place in my heart and I can't say enough about what it has meant to me. I have two boys who attended KinderCare from the age of 6 months old to when they attended Middle School and participated in the before/after school programs. From the moment I called the facility and spoke with the Center Director Ms. Diane Uria I knew that this was the right place for my child, due to her professionalism and warm personality. KinderCare teachers and staff were like an extended family and as a result my children flourished in this environment. When they were infants I wanted to know everything about what happened to them throughout the day and was well informed on their activities, and this communication continued through the years. My boys were well taken care of and loved and I never worried about them as I knew all their needs were met. The center offered many activities for the parents to attend and participate in with their children, pictures where taken professionally and candidly that captured memories, many extra perks were offered that helped to make life easier for parents such as haircuts and phonics classes which helped tremendously when my son started school. I have since recommended KinderCare to other parents and continue to do so to this day. I feel my sons in their beginning and most critical years had a great start and advantage with KinderCare; and today they are 12 and 15 and both are outstanding students who are in gifted programs and received many academic awards over the years. I owe it to KinderCare which is not just a day care center but a learning center. I continue to keep in touch with the director who went above and beyond her job responsibilities and was the main reason I loved KinderCare so much. She maintained the facility in the high standards I wanted and expected and I could not have chosen a better place. My children attended 2 KinderCare facilities when they were school age. They had to attend the before/after school care at the KinderCare facility which was close to their school as the facility provided bus service to and from school. Both facilities provided superb service. I am forever grateful to the great start that was provided for them at KinderCare and would recommend it in a heartbeat.”

No words can describe how much I appreciate finding such a warm and loving environment for my daughter. After having a very bad experience with another learning center, I took a week off from work in search of the perfect place I could trust with my daughter's education and well being. After visiting many centers and becoming very frustrated and overwhelmed with my search, a family friend told me about KinderCare. As soon as I walked in I knew this was the place. The center Director, Diane Uria, took the time to show me the center, the curriculum, and introduced me to all the teachers. Every single one of them had smiles on their faces and seemed like they truly enjoyed their jobs. The children were all involved in an activity and seemed happy as can be to be in school. Needless to say, my decision was easy! My daughter has been at KinderCare since she was one, and she is now five and going to Kindergarten in the fall. She loves KinderCare and all the teachers and directors that make this center so great. I can never thank them enough for providing my daughter with a loving and safe environment and an extraordinary educational base that has more than prepared her for her first year in elementary school. Thank you, thank you, thank you!”
Ester V. - KinderCare Parent
My three children have all attended KinderCare Learning Center and were students from 2001 until 2013. Words cannot express the love all the teachers and the Director gave to them. The center became part of our family and great relationships were formed. To this day my 15-year-old daughter, 12-year-old son and 8-year-old son still beg me to take them to the center just to say "Hi" to their teachers. I LOVE KinderCare and will always remember how amazing they were too all of us.”

KinderCare has been nothing but our children's second home and a big piece of mind to us. This is more than just a daycare, it is a high quality learning center. It is a great educational institution that truly prepares children to be successful for their early educational path.
In 2008, we decided to place our first child at this institution when he was a little over one year old. We did a lot of research and were very impressed after our first visit. The staff is very professional, the facility is impeccable, safety at all levels is a priority, and the curriculum is extraordinary. My child was so well prepared when he was out from their Prekindergarten program in 2012, that when entering Kindergarten he already knew how to read and had developed all needed social skills to succeed in his first school year. My son is going into second grade and keeps going to KinderCare for the after school program, which is also a five star program. In 2011, we had our second child and were so confident that we did not hesitate to place our second child in their Infant program when he was only three months old.
If you are looking for a safe and caring institution that also offers high quality education, this is the place for your child! You will be so impressed from your first visit.”

KinderCare is a GEM!!! Administrators and staff are knowledgeable, caring, and supportive. My son started last Fall after having a very poor experience at a nearby preschool whose focus for 3 year olds was purely on academics. This new trend which attempts to teach writing skills way to early is resulting in poor outcomes such as bad handwriting that later can't be unlearned, as well as, inviting an unnecessary level of frustration to the learning process. My son's previous school expected 2 and 3 year olds to sit for hours writing and using IPads for learning. Play was not until the late afternoon and they gave them homework. In theory, a head start on academics, but why??? This was a curriculum that physically and socially few could adapt to successfully.... especially when transitioning from home to school. Children learn and are stimulated through movement, they need movement, their brains like ours benefit from movement. Greater oxygen to the brain produces better focus and retention of information. KinderCare understands this model for success at school.
KinderCare makes learning fun through movement and learning stations. Children learn and thrive through play and movement. They know children are different and they respect and celebrate the differences. KinderCare practices an age-appropriate curriculum and disciplines children appropriately and effectively. They work together with parents and offer a collaborative perspective. As an educator and counselor, I am thrilled that my child is learning skills (social and academic) at an age appropriate pace and that he is respected and celebrated for his unique attributes. He has scored gifted on all the standardized assessments throughout the school year and has a love for learning! The difference....KinderCare!!!
KinderCare is the perfect school environment when making the transition from home to school. They meet your child where they are at and help/support them into learning. ALL the teachers show compassion and provide a nurturing environment for your child to thrive and learn. They are a team and show unity. Ms. Uria, I am forever grateful for your compassion and support in my son's transition. Ms. Diana your leadership and support are much appreciated. Ms. Yuly, my son simply adores you. Thank you for making every school day a happy one. I look forward to having my daughter experience success just like her brother as she transitions from home to school at KinderCare this Fall!”

I recall when I was visiting daycare centers and how dissatisfied I was. Then I came across a small center with a red roof called KinderCare. I was always drawn to KinderCare. I must have gone back two times before I finally had made my decision. KinderCare has been the best decision my husband and I have made. Our first son started KinderCare in the infant room when he was 1 1/2 years old. Sure, it was tough to leave him with strangers, but we knew he would be in good hands. He is soon to be four years old and is still loving daycare. The administrators including the teachers are all so friendly - you can tell from the atmosphere that they all love working there and the teachers take the time to tell you about their day, which is greatly appreciated. I recommend KinderCare to all my friends. My other son will eventually go to daycare and he will go to the same center as his brother. You can't go wrong with KinderCare.”
John Anthony B. - KinderCare Parent
We had visited at least 10 day cares in the area before we came to KinderCare (140th Avenue, Bent Tree Area). My husband and I immediately felt that our 7-month old son would be in good hands and that he would get the attention and guidance he needs as an individual child to develop into the wonderful boy he is today as a 3-year old. The Director, Assistant Director and Teachers have all been wonderful from the first day and have always been available to talk about his progress or to answer any questions we have had.
About two months ago we moved back to Europe and thus had to take our boy out of Kindercare. This was a very sad moment for us, as we know how much he loved to go to his daycare and how much he loved his friends and teachers. He still talks a lot to us about the good times he had at Kindercare!
Thank you to all the KinderCare members for having such a great impact in our son’s life!”
Beatrice K. - KinderCare Parent
Five stars all the way! When I was on the hunt for a daycare/learning center six years ago, I went to several locations. I thought all these daycare chains are all the same until I met with Diane Uria, Director of Kindercare of 140 Avenue. My mindset changed completely and I was confident that this was the school for my son. When my son was entering grade school, my other son was of age to enroll at Kindercare. The staff is so nice and also what I look for in a daycare is stability!”
Alex B. - KinderCare Parent
Back in 2013, my daughter came to Kindercare for VPK. Her teacher (and all of the centers staff) were amazing and left an impression with me. When I moved back to the area after having my second son, I called up and they had room for both of my sons. They loved every minute of their days there. Now with my third son, I've been able to experience each different class level and I cant even begin to explain how much I love each and everyone of the teachers. They treat my children as if they are their own. My kids look forward to going to school and honestly have so much fun that it's hard to get them to leave some days. Kindercare has become our second home. I dont think I could ever trust anyone else with my kids.
My daughter who originally attended VPK goes to school next door and does before/aftercare with Kindercare. They not only do homework with them but they continue with enriching activities. Everything is about learning and it's definitely helped my kids develop.
I live out of the area so it's a little bit of a drive but there is nothing that would make me move my kids to another school!”
Jeniffer M. - KinderCare Parent
My husband and I were looking for a place to put our daughter in while we worked. We chose kindercare because of the lesson plans, the great organization of the teachers, and the food (no sugars and an emphasis on vegetables). It's been amazing to see the changes in our toddler from having a speech delay to speaking sentences, knowing her colors, animals and animal sounds in a matter of months! She has been learning so much and we couldn't be more grateful!”
Courtney W. - KinderCare Parent
My child started this learning center at three months, he’s now almost two and he absolutely adores his teachers. I feel relieved he is thriving and the communication between the teachers, directors, and myself is amazing!”
Erika C. - KinderCare Parent
I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude with the KinderCare staff at 140th Avenue. Since day one, I was treated with a lot of respect and sympathy not only from the director, Diane, and assistant director, Diana, but for everyone in general. My baby is well adjusted since week one and I know it has a lot to do with the care he receives from Ms. Isa and Ms. Tere in the toddler’s class. They are so caring and loving! They are patient with my boy and every morning they make him feel very welcomed with much love and a big smile. Sometimes I have to drop him off super early in the morning until it is time for him to go to his class and there is Ms. Mary waiting for him with her exceptional approachable way and tenderness. My boy feels great at his daycare and I feel at peace for that. :)
Thank You KinderCare for providing love, attention and the best learning experience to my baby boy!!”
Yisandra D. - KinderCare Parent
The best daycare hands down! The director and teachers truly care about the kids. My son started at 12 weeks old and is our first/only child - it was tough at first, but we soon realized he was in the best possible place. Recommend without hesitation.”
