AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED
We’re so proud!
Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited - nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference, and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY
What Learning Looks Like
Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.
Lincoln Knowledge Beginnings Programs
Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)
Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and ready to explore their world.
Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)
Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.
Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)
This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them get used to a more structured school setting.
Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)
This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step: kindergarten!
Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)
When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language, math, science, Spanish, and social skills.
Before- and After-School Programs (5–12 Years)
You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!
School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)
Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused on fun. We welcome children ages 5–12 during school break times and make sure they have a sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.
Participating Child Care Aware Center
KinderCare partners with Child Care Aware® of America to offer fee assistance for Active Duty military families and flexible support to fit their needs when care at a Child Development Center on the installation is not available.
Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program
Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)
In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication, and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!
Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)
KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math, science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare way of learning the foundations of music.
Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)
Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program. From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we have the data to prove it.)
STEM Innovators (3-8 Years)
You’ve probably heard a lot about how important STEM education is for your child, but what does that really mean? Our STEM Innovators program takes kids’ natural ability to make sense of the world and applies it to robotics, chemistry, coding, geology, and more. While your child experiments, they’ll discover how to use technology to do amazing things!

Our Teachers
We're the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn't enough though. KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply, we love our teachers and your child will, too.

A KINDERCARE TEACHER WITH
An Artist's Heart
"My classroom is full of art!” says Mary Annthipie-Bane, an award-winning early childhood educator at KinderCare. Art and creative expression, she says, help children discover who they really are.

We put our best-in-class teachers in a best-in-class workplace. We're so proud to have been named one of Gallup's 37 winners of the Great Workplace Award. When you put great teachers in an engaging center, your children will experience an amazing place to learn and grow.

Lincoln Knowledge Beginnings, we want to thank you for all that you do! Words cannot express how much each and every one of you has meant to us and our children over the years. You need to know that you live a life of significance for all of the young children whose lives you touch each and every day! Over six years ago when we decided to start our child at Knowledge Beginnings, I had no idea the impact it would have on our family. The knowledge, care, and love you show the children on a daily basis cannot be matched. I admire all of you for what you do for the children each and every day! This center and each of you have become like a second family and a place where we feel most comfortable when we drop off the kids. The things you teach the children day in and day out amazes me! There is not a day that goes by when my kids do not mention an experience they had at the center that day…and that is all because of you! Thank you again for all that you do…you truly are amazing!

We have been very fortunate to have Lincoln Knowledge Beginnings as part of our lives for the past eight and a half years. The care and compassion that Knowledge Beginnings has provided for our two children is invaluable. The educational activities and opportunities that the center provides are top-notch as well. Being an educator myself, I appreciate the true commitment and dedication of the KB staff--many current teachers have been at the center longer than we have. The families, children, teachers, and Directors of Knowledge Beginnings create a community which we feel very blessed to have our children be a part of!

We have had at least one child at Lincoln Knowledge Beginnings consistently since January 2003. Our oldest child started in the Infant Classroom four times per week when he was ten weeks old. He was there until he went to kindergarten. Our daughter came along two years later and also started as an infant, continuing on until kindergarten. Shortly before our third child was born, I decided to become a stay-at-home mom. I still started him part time when he was two because we truly believed that it was worth the cost, even minus one income, to have him attend KB at least a couple of times a week. We'd seen the positive impact it had on our older children. Our fourth came along in 2010. When she was one, I decided to go back to work part time. She started in January 2011 and, like all the others, is loving it. There are so many things that have kept us at Knowledge Beginnings for over a decade. First and foremost...the teachers. There are several there today who were there when our first child started in 2002. Jenny, Lindsay, Sarah, Alison...their longevity speaks volumes to the quality of care my children have received and continue to receive. Also very important--the flexibility has been key for us. Over our ten years there, I have worked full time, part time, and not at all. It has been nice to be able to have the part-time option (we have done two, three, and four times per week over the years), but also the ability to switch a day or add a day here and there with enough notice. I know from friends that this is not an option at many other facilities in town. We have always felt a real family connection to KB...they really care for our kids and go above and beyond every day. We've attended ten Christmas programs, ten Halloween parties, and countless Thanksgivings, Mother's Day, and Father's Day gatherings. We have really seen the extra effort and love that the teachers put forth for our kids. We love KB and are glad for all they have given, and are giving, to our four children!"

We have been so happy at Lincoln Knowledge Beginnings for the past six years! Our son started there when he was six weeks old. Now he’s thriving in kindergarten because of the knowledge, love, confidence, and discipline that he experienced at Knowledge Beginnings. Our two-year-old, who currently attends, is excited every day to see her friends and teachers. We did research on other centers and we’re so happy that we sent our kids to Knowledge Beginning. It’s a great facility, but the wonderful teachers and staff truly make the difference!

We have been very happy with Lincoln Knowledge Beginnings since enrolling our two-year-old daughter. We feel the curriculum is strong, they encourage creative play, and have great teachers. Our daughter loves to go to school, which is a wonderful thing. She enjoys her friends, cooking, and music class. We as parents are happy with the experience we are having at Knowledge Beginnings.

From the minute I first walked into the Lincoln Knowledge Beginnings, I felt like it was a safe place for my children to thrive. And after touring other facilities, I was even more sure that KB was the right place for my kids! The teachers and the Director do everything possible to make sure that the kids are their number one focus and that each child gets the individual attention that he or she needs. My children amaze me every day with what they are learning at KB. They will be more than ready for kindergarten! I cannot believe how lucky we are to have found KB! My children are happy there, I feel like the curriculum is challenging for my kids, and I know that I can always talk to the teachers or Director about any concerns I have. The teachers are the best at KB! They truly care about your kids and work with you on every step of their development. We are lucky to have such wonderful people in our children's lives!

During our search for child care, we sought the counsel of a college professor specializing in early childhood development. She advised us to look for centers that have the NAEYC Accreditation. This led us directly to Knowledge Beginnings in Lincoln, NE. This accreditation gives us the confidence that the activities in which our son is participating are evidence-based and promote positive child outcomes.

Lincoln Knowledge Beginnings is a great place for kids. The staff really helped my son through difficulties he was having. They are knowledgeable, helpful, kind, supportive, and provide many learning opportunities for the kids. They are always willing to help and support children as they grow and develop. The center itself provides a good learning setting with a variety of activities. I couldn't have chosen a better place!
