AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED
We’re so proud!
Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited - nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference, and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY
What Learning Looks Like
Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.
Frankfort KinderCare Programs
Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)
Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and ready to explore their world.
Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)
Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.
Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)
This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them get used to a more structured school setting.
Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)
This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step: kindergarten!
Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)
When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language, math, science, Spanish, and social skills.
Before- and After-School Programs (5–12 Years)
You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!
School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)
Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused on fun. We welcome children ages 5–12 during school break times and make sure they have a sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.
Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program
Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)
In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication, and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!
Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)
KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math, science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare way of learning the foundations of music.
Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)
Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program. From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we have the data to prove it.)
Spanish
Spanish Adventures provides young learners with a foundation for later success with the Spanish language. Music, games, children's Spanish literature, and other tools give children multiple opportunities to hear, practice, and see Spanish language to develop vocabulary and conversation skills. Curriculum includes lessons on greetings, numbers, colors, animals, family, body parts, and pets, as well as how to engage conversationally during common scenarios at home, a restaurant, or at the zoo.
STEM Innovators (3-8 Years)
You’ve probably heard a lot about how important STEM education is for your child, but what does that really mean? Our STEM Innovators program takes kids’ natural ability to make sense of the world and applies it to robotics, chemistry, coding, geology, and more. While your child experiments, they’ll discover how to use technology to do amazing things!
Our Teachers
We're the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn't enough though. KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply, we love our teachers and your child will, too.

An Artist's Heart
"My classroom is full of art!” says Mary Annthipie-Bane, an award-winning early childhood educator at KinderCare. Art and creative expression, she says, help children discover who they really are.

We put our best-in-class teachers in a best-in-class workplace. We're so proud to have been named one of Gallup's 37 winners of the Great Workplace Award. When you put great teachers in an engaging center, your children will experience an amazing place to learn and grow.

When it comes time to hand your child off to an unfamiliar place, with unfamiliar people, it can frighten almost any parent. While, most parents have done the research, read reviews, talked to other parents, you never really feel comfortable until you meet the teachers and staff. That was what it was like for me when I was looking for a daycare facility for my twins. For me, it was even more nerve-wracking because we had a nanny for 14 months, someone who had become part of the family, and since I worked from home, I was around a lot to see the interaction between the three of them. Now, here I was in a new town, where I didn't know anyone. I could have interviewed nannies, but I felt the boys would do better in an accredited day care facility where they can grow and develop.
I visited many child care facilities, but none of them seemed like the right fit. That was until I walked into the Frankfort KinderCare and can honestly say my anxiety dissipated. I was immediately met with smiles from Hillary, Dawn, and Lori. As a parent, the facility checked off many major boxes like being accredited, secure, having a tenured staff (which I now know to be rare), convenient location, nutritional food, great outdoor space, etc. However, what really pushed me to enroll my kids, was the little things I noticed. You could immediately tell the ENTIRE staff had built relationships with all the kids, not just the ones in their classrooms. I watched as four or five kids gave Mr. Mark a high-five as he walked down the hall delivering lunch. I saw the kids run to Miss Lori as she walked me around (patiently answering my many questions), because they wanted to give her hugs. She knew everyone by name and they were thrilled to see her. It was these little moments I witnessed with each of the teachers that solidified my decision. That was 3.5 years ago and I have never second guessed my decision.
I now have three kids in the facility, and love how my youngest has the same teachers as my older two. All of my children are thriving socially and developmentally, and I know it is not just the curriculum, but more importantly, the teachers who teach the curriculum. I have noticed how each teacher understands the unique ways each kid learns and uses that knowledge to teach. One of my sons has mild ADHD and I worried the he would not have the patience to sit through lessons as it was difficult for me at home sometimes. However, knowing this was a concern of mine, not only did Miss Cheryl immediately share with me techniques and tactics they use in school, reassured me he was fine, but also gave me ideas of what I can do at home with him.
It is not just the curriculum, but the teachers' aid in other developmental milestones, like potty training and learning how to feed oneself. I remember when the twins turned three, Miss Jessica said, "The boys will be out of pull-ups for their naps in a couple of weeks if you are okay with having more laundry to do." In three weeks, while they did have few accidents when they slept, just like she said, they were out of pull-ups. Miss LeAnne, Miss Jenny, Miss Erin, and Miss Stephanie, had my youngest eating with a fork and spoon much earlier then I was able to with the twins.
I also love how even when teachers move on because of life changes, they still have a place to come back to if they wanted to float, or pitch in during peak times. Nothing makes me (or my kids) happier then to see a familiar face back in the facility. I can go on and on about the teachers at this facility, how each has made such a lasting impact on my kids, and all the wonderful experiences we have had with each and every one of them, but I will end with how happy I am to have chosen this facility.
I could not have asked for a better place to send my children. All three of my kids are thriving and have so much admiration for all the teachers. They love going each and every morning (and sometimes do not want to come home). As a parent, I wanted the corporate office to know, how much I value all the staff at this site, and how incredibly fortunate I am to have my kids enrolled.”Nandini - KinderCare Parent

It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for the Frankfort, IL KinderCare facility kindergarten program. My now seven year old daughter started at this facility from the age of three years old and has developed and learned so much since she has attended. It was such a delight knowing that this KinderCare Facility provided such a great Kindergarten Program. I do believe that this program is comparable to and even better than many other programs available in the area. The class focuses on the children and their educational and social needs in order to prepare them to move on to a prosperous grade school experience. This program prepared my daughter for 1st grade and she is currently earning nothing but A's. I am very pleased with my child's development and transition to grade school and I have the Frankfort, IL KinderCare staff and facility to thank. My two younger daughters that currently attend this same facility's high quality day care program will definitely be attending this kindergarten program. I confidently recommend this kindergarten program to parents seeking a quality Kindergarten experience and education for their children.

I recently took the Gallup survey via the link offered by my center. I wanted to add the follow-up comment that I really mean every "5" I provided. The reality of being a full-time working mother is that someone else is responsible for my children during the majority of their waking hours. I feel so fortunate that as much as I wish I would have that time with them for myself. I know that they're not feeling my absence because they are well cared for and loved by a facility that treats them as a family and not a weekly check.
My oldest was full-time at KinderCare, but recently enrolled in a morning preschool program at the local elementary school, and he now buses from the elementary school to KinderCare in time for lunch. When picture day for KinderCare rolled around, I was sad that he would most likely miss the class picture and the opportunity for a sibling picture. When I approached Laurie to ask about the timing, I found that she had already made arrangements to allow Cooper to be present for the class picture and for the sibling picture. I think it goes without saying that parents expect to find a facility that keeps their children safe and fed by default, but it's the consideration for the life details that make me feel so pleased to have my family in their hands.
Additionally, the preschool program my son attends is for at-risk children. In my son's case, he has a speech delay. During an early meeting, the special services teacher commented that she can always tell a difference between the kids that come from Frankfort KinderCare versus other daycare environments because of how well the classroom curriculum and activities align.
I can't offer enough thanks to Laurie, Hillary, and the Frankfort KinderCare team for how they've cared for my family.”Emily Y. - KinderCare Parent

My name is Kim P. and my daughter Gina is a recent student in your nursery. I am just writing to say how very pleased I am with your facility and staff. Daycare is always a hard transition for parent and I have found it to be extremely easy because of your facility. When I am at work, I know that my daughter is safe and being well taken care of. The facility is so clean and uplifting. The staff is excellent. The women who work in the nursery are professional and so loving to the children. I am 110% pleased with my choice to have my daughter in daycare because of the experience I am having with the Frankfort KinderCare. Thank you for giving my husband and I peace of mind and for taking such great care of our baby!

I have two children enrolled at the Frankfort KinderCare daycare facility, my nine year old daughter and five year-old son. My daughter attended the Kindergarten preparatory classes at KinderCare before entering the public school system. I believe my daughter was well prepared for her Kindergarten experience. I believe that the classes she took at KinderCare played a big part in making that transition an easy one. She was able to adjust to the type of classroom routine that was required and was able to meet the educational requirements with ease. Because of the positive experience my daughter had, my son is currently enrolled in the same preparatory classes. Since my son has struggled to make many milestone accomplishments in his toddler years, I feel that the additional educational instruction he is receiving now will be instrumental in a positive Kindergarten experience. As for the parents of the children in the program, I have benefited from regular parent/teacher conferences on his academic achievements and areas of needed improvement. This has enabled me to focus on specific skill sets at home which will help him meet necessary educational requirements when the time comes. Educational and daycare decisions regarding your children are never easy, however we feel confident that we made the right decision for us when placing our children in the KinderCare program.

The KinderCare in Frankfort has been exceptional with caring for my son! I feel comfort in knowing that my child is well cared for while in their care. Mrs. Lori is an excellent Center Director she is very communicative with the parents and has a positive attitude that radiates and she is always available for parents. Ms. Amy and Ms. Brittney both are FANTASTIC! They provide such nurturing care and have really helped my son learn so much in the time that he has been in their classroom. He is much more vocal, knows so many fun songs and has been able to express himself creatively every day! They are always doing fun and creative activities with the kids and make an effort to share that with parents through photos and videos sent throughout the day. This center provides so much value to me as a parent. I could not have asked for better! This is a top center for care and quality. I am very happy to be a part of the KinderCare Frankfort family!
