Douglassville KinderCare Programs
Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)
Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and ready to explore their world.
Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)
Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.
Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)
This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them get used to a more structured school setting.
Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)
This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step: kindergarten!
Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)
When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language, math, science, Spanish, and social skills.
Before- and After-School Programs (5–12 Years)
You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!
School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)
Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused on fun. We welcome children ages 5–12 during school break times and make sure they have a sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.
Participating Child Care Aware Center
KinderCare partners with Child Care Aware® of America to offer fee assistance for Active Duty military families and flexible support to fit their needs when care at a Child Development Center on the installation is not available.
Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program
Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)
In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication, and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!
Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)
KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math, science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare way of learning the foundations of music.
Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)
Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program. From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we have the data to prove it.)
Spanish Adventures provides young learners with a foundation for later success with the Spanish language. Music, games, children's Spanish literature, and other tools give children multiple opportunities to hear, practice, and see Spanish language to develop vocabulary and conversation skills. Curriculum includes lessons on greetings, numbers, colors, animals, family, body parts, and pets, as well as how to engage conversationally during common scenarios at home, a restaurant, or at the zoo.
STEM Innovators (3-8 Years)
You’ve probably heard a lot about how important STEM education is for your child, but what does that really mean? Our STEM Innovators program takes kids’ natural ability to make sense of the world and applies it to robotics, chemistry, coding, geology, and more. While your child experiments, they’ll discover how to use technology to do amazing things!

“ To see the smile on my son's face when he talks about his teachers at KinderCare, that's what matters the most to me.Show more
“ Our boys have attended Kindercare - (Douglassville Location) for a little over five years. Our boys have received a strong social, emotional and educational start from Kindercare. Your facility provided an environment where they felt safe and comfortable to learn and explore. We felt confident going to work each day leaving our children with indivduals who truly loved and cared for them as individuals and for us as a family. We would highly recommend the center to any family considering enrolling.

We will miss you all!Show more
“ Our family has been coming to Douglassville KinderCare for eight years now. Our eight-year-old daughter attended KinderCare. Our five-year-old son still attends now. They both started when they were just a few months old and we have loved every moment of it. We have always had the distinct feeling that each teacher has a genuine bond with each of our children. You can see that, to them, it’s much more than a job. Every staff member there has had a profound positive impact on our children and our family. They have played an important role in helping us raise our children. They know them as well as we do, and have been there with us through it all, from changing their diapers and saying their first words to potty-training and teaching them how to read and do math.

“It takes a village to raise a child”, and KinderCare has been our village. There are not enough praises I could give to show how very much we appreciate each and every teacher there. They have been an important part of our children’s lives and very important to our family. We’re a KinderCare family and could not be happier with our entire experience. Show more
“ We picked KinderCare because it is close to our home. Plus everyone there is so nice and friendly. Shilamae loves going there to learn and play with all her friends. She has learned so much by coming here. Shilamae has improved so much with her letters and numbers. Thank you for helping get her ready for Kindergarten.Show more
“ When we moved from TX a couple years ago, we were worried about finding a new daycare center for our then 2-year-old daughter, Skye. We toured the Douglassville location with Assistant Director Amber, and she immediately made us feel at ease. We were placed on a waiting list, and not long after, a spot opened in the Discovery Preschool room. I remember telling Amber when she called to tell me Skye could start school that it was perfect timing because poor Skye was talking to herself in the mirror she was missing interactions with others so much.Skye started with Ms. Kacey in Discovery Preschool, and Skye ADORES her. She is so patient and calming for the kids, and she truly takes an interest in them, treating them like her own. She knows what makes them tick. We were so excited when Skye got to return to Ms. Kacey when she moved up to Preschool 2. She has had so many amazing teachers over the past two years, but Ms. Kacey has been her constant source of stability/comfort. Skye will soon move up to PreK, and we will miss Ms. Kacey like crazy but are equally excited to start our journey with Ms. Britney and Ms. Sara, who Skye also loves! They make learning so fun and create a safe environment to learn and grow. While Ms. Vonnie has not been a teacher for Skye, running the kitchen and helping where needed, she is always a bright spot of each day! She knows all the kids and was always kind to check on me during my second pregnancy. She definitely deserves a special shout out!We will soon be starting our second daughter in the Infant room, and I am excited for the memories she will get to make at KinderCare - Douglassville. Director Sheila does an amazing job of creating a family-like atmosphere for the kids and their parents. We cannot thank her and her team enough for the outstanding care and education my daughter has received so far!Show more
“ We have been with KinderCare for over 3 years. We tried another place initially and it was horrible, I saw KinderCare and called to get some info and explained what had happened . They were so kind and understanding and said they would be happy to have our daughter come there. It was her first time in a daycare facility ever. KinderCare stepped in and it has been the best experience! They made her feel comfortable and in no time she was used to it and LOVES going there. The teachers are absolutely phenomenal. I can’t thank them enough for everything they have done for us over the years. They are so caring, kind, and are such great teachers to the kiddos. My daughter has learned so much there and she LOVES everyone there, and we do too!!Show more
“ Skylar joined KinderCare 3 years ago at 2 years old. She cried every day for a week or two but the staff worked their magic and helped make her comfortable. She then was so excited to go everyday for the next three years. She also started with a speech issue and again the staff worked with her and understood her. Skylar's three year journey with KinderCare has just come to an end and she is now excelling in everything! We have no worries she is ready for kindergarten and that is in large part to the terrific work the teachers do with the kids. We will miss all the great teachers there: Mrs. Brittney, Mrs. Sara, Ms. Amanda, Mrs. Amber, Mrs. Kasey , Ms. Gloria, all the others Skylar has had over the years, and the director Mrs. Sheila who always was great at communicating everything. They all really care about their job and the kids and it shows. If you are looking for a daycare or preschool look no further!Show more
