Erica

Mom of four and healthcare worker

Parents all over the country struggle to balance work and home life. The pandemic has made that challenge harder than ever before. For families like Erica’s, KinderCare is an essential partner in parenting and a home away from home for kids.

“I’m a chiropractic assistant, and I like it because we’re always busy. We’re always helping people feel better.

"I really like this place. My kids developed a relationship with the teachers. They call one of them ‘Mama Tonia,’ and they say she’s their second mom."

My work never closed down at all. And so that was kind of hard when school and daycare were closed. I was lucky to have KinderCare reopen. It helped me go back to work, which was nice—even though I love spending time with my kids at home. But you have to work.

I really like this place. My kids developed a relationship with the teachers. They call one of them ‘Mama Tonia,’ and they say she’s their second mom. So, I really like how they get that bond with each teacher.

It felt right, especially because I’ve been here for so long. I already knew that they take care of the kids really well and want parents to feel safe with their kids. Because they take care of our kids as if they were their own. So, I wasn’t nervous about bringing them back."
