Your Child Care Benefits
Your Tuition Benefit
If you have a child ages 6 weeks to 12 years old,** UW provides a 10% savings on full-time, part-time, and drop-in tuition at either KinderCare centers near you, or with Champions extended-day learning programs at participating schools in the Central Kitsap, Federal Way, Kent, Northshore, and Tacoma school districts. All you have to do is present proof of employment or enrollment at UW to the Center Director at the time of enrollment! This offer is available to new families as well as those already enrolled in a participating center. Find your location, and get the routine, stability, and peace of mind you need.

Summer Break Programs
Save on summer care for kids ages 5–12 with your Tuition Benefit! Champions® Champ Camp brings summer adventure right to school grounds during seasonal breaks. Kids will build new skills, explore STEM, and continue their education while having a blast. Champ Camp Great Outdoors takes the fun to unique locations where kids dive into nature-based learning, outdoor challenges, and endless discovery. Priority Access
Priority Waitlist allows UW faculty, staff, and students like yourself to enroll ahead of other community families at the following KinderCare locations: Northgate KinderCare, Yarrow Bay KinderCare, Woodinville KinderCare, Bothell KinderCare, Harbour Point KinderCare, Wallingford KinderCare, and South Seattle KinderCare. If there are no spaces available at the time you’d like to enroll, there’s room for your family on the waitlist.
Accessing Your Benefits
Tuition Benefit Savings Guide
- Search for a center or site that is near you using the Search box above.
- Schedule a tour of the center or site online or by phone with the center information provided.
- When you enroll (or if you're already enrolled), let your Center Director know you are affiliated with UW and that you are eligible for a 10% tuition benefit.
- Your Center Director will apply the discount on your next billing cycle.
Priority Access
Priority Access allows UW faculty, staff, and students to enroll ahead of other community families at the locations listed above. If there is not space available at the time you wish to enroll, you may be put on a waitlist. When space becomes available, families will be invited to enroll in the following order:
- Families with currently enrolled children transitioning into the next age group and/or their siblings
- UW faculty, staff, and students
- All other community families
