We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited–nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference, and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

Our kids are taking off!

By kindergarten, our kids are testing ahead of their peers. Read all about it.

Many of our child care centers are accredited by national organizations that require us to meet rigorous early childhood education standards and guidelines for high-quality care and education. Programs that are accredited have demonstrated their commitment to go beyond the state’s minimum licensing requirements to meet and maintain these high standards of quality.

Our Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks - 1 year)

Babies grow and learn every day. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing "home away from home" where babies can explore and make new discoveries. We know that learning through play is extremely valuable at this age and our Early Foundations® Infant program is designed to give babies the skills that will serve as the building blocks for a lifetime of learning.

Toddler Programs (1 – 2 Years)

As toddlers develop friendships, self-esteem, and curiosity, our Early Foundations® Toddler program will help them explore their world in a safe and nurturing environment. Our unique curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best through experiences. So each day is filled with fun activities that excite and develop toddlers, giving them the comfort and confidence to speak those first few important words, as well as make their first friends.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2 – 3 Years)

At this age, children are making new discoveries daily. And as two-year olds begin to exert their independence, our Early Foundations® Discovery Preschool program is prepared to open their eyes to a world of learning, sharing, and exploring. Our holistic approach in the classroom engages young minds with a blend of music, art, and movement, as well as the early education fundamentals they'll need as they continue on to preschool.

Preschool Programs (3 – 4 Years)

As preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they may feel ready to take on the world. Our Early Foundations® Preschool program enhances that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and lifelong learners. Through independent exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, children will work on early literacy, math, science, and social studies concepts. A healthy dose of running, jumping, and dancing keeps them active too.

Prekindergarten Programs (4 – 5 Years)

Prekindergartners are preparing for the adventure of a lifetime – school. And our Early Foundations Prekindergarten® program is designed to get them ready by teaching letters and words, math concepts, and valuable social skills. With small group instruction, independent play in an organized atmosphere, and whole-group activities, children will have all the right skills to hop, skip, and jump right into kindergarten.

Before- & After-School Programs (5 – 12 Years)

Even after school's out for the day, children need to be engaged in a comfortable, yet stimulating environment. That's where our Catch the Wave® program comes in. This innovative before – and after-school program allows school-age children to balance learning and fun through a variety of experiences. From homework help to fun physical activities, our program is designed so that everyone goes home happy.

Summer Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Don’t miss out on KinderCare’s Summer of Wonder: Six themed programs that will make summer exciting, educational and tons of fun. Whether your child is in our preschool, Pre-K or school-age programs, all of it is designed to help children learn while soaking up the fun. We offer flexible scheduling options to meet the needs of busy families like yours so we hope to see you there.

Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program

The Cooking Adventures program gives children opportunities to participate in fun, developmentally appropriate cooking experiences. They will learn about recipes, ingredients, cooking vocabulary, and the importance of a healthy diet. The curriculum includes lessons on picnics, pizza, and heart-healthy meals.

The Math Adventures enrichment program is designed to teach important mathematics concepts such as geometry, numbers, measurement, and probability. Your child will learn about length, height, and weight. He will learn about shapes and solids. He will learn how to add, subtract, multiply, and count money. Math is everywhere and giving your child every advantage now will add up to success later in life.

Ongoing research proves that early exposure to music helps children think, reason, create, and express themselves. Children will laugh and learn about rhythm, vocal melodies, and a variety of musical genres and instruments, which can lower stress and advance memory. Learning never sounded so good.

Phonics & Reading Adventures

Set your child up for advanced success with literacy through phonics, the study of letters and sounds. Reader books, games, and activity cards help your child understand the basics of vowels and blending syllables, giving him confidence and command of language.

Teachers & Staff

Our loving and devoted professionals at KinderCare are passionate about teaching and caring for young children. As a high quality child development program, our teachers exceed state minimum standards for education level and ongoing professional development. Their lifelong love of learning is evident in their desire to stay abreast of new research and teaching techniques. Families meet with teachers three times per year to review their child’s progress, which is documented in our developmentally appropriate assessments, portfolios and anecdotal notes about daily achievements. We feel privileged to work alongside families to form supportive and cooperative partnerships.

April's Learning Focus

Children 6 weeks to 3 years old: Growing Gardens

What better time to explore the beauty and science of flowers and gardens than the spring? Infants’ learning will focus on sensory experiences with different plants and flowers, while toddlers and three-year-olds have the opportunity to learn how to care for plants. We’ll plant seeds in soil, water the plants, observe bugs and discover how they help plants grow, and even plant a butterfly garden outside! We’ll build math skills by counting seeds, learn new vocabulary words related to flowers and plants, and as always, sing songs and read books involving gardens.

Children 4–5 years old: In the Spring + Wild Animals

For children in the Preschool and Transitional Kindergarten Classrooms, April is about exploring all things spring and discovering wild animals! Preschoolers will look for signs of spring outdoors, make mud cakes and count the twigs placed in them, and paint still-life paintings of things related to spring. When our learning turns to wild animals, we’ll learn about the habitats and habits of creatures big and small while maintaining a focus on learning lowercase letters.

The older children in Transitional Kindergarten will focus on project-related work and pick something to work on together. In years past, children have painted a mural, made spring parade floats, painted wild animal masks, and created a model of a wild animal’s habitat. Both of these units focus on expanding the children’s understanding of the natural world around them.

Health and Safety

Our top priority at KinderCare is to provide a safe and healthy environment for our children, families and staff. We do this through rigorous training and constant assessment and evaluation of proper policies and procedures. Your child’s security begins at the front door, literally. All guests and alternative pick up people are checked for identification and escorted through the building. Of course, our teachers have all cleared local, state and federal background checks, including fingerprinting. We are trained in infant and child CPR and First Aid. We do routine fire, storm and lock-down drills to prepare for the unexpected. Throughout the day, your child will be supervised at all times. No child is ever left unattended, even for a minute. Teachers have all been trained in supervision, discipline and guidance, and developmentally appropriate practices to ensure they understand the risks associated with the children in their care. If your child has food allergies or specific medical conditions, we will work with you to ensure your child’s well-being while in our care. We also take the responsibility of your child’s emotional security very seriously. We want every child to feel safe, loved, and respected while at KinderCare.

At KinderCare, what families say about us means a lot. Read below some of the great experiences our families have had with us.

If you have a story about your experience at KinderCare, please share your story with us.

I have a seven month old son and a 18 month old daughter, both who have attended since they were seven weeks old. I am extremely grateful for the communication that the center has with my wife and I about the care, needs and education of our children. I love the daily notes as well pictures through out the week on what the children have done. We feel blessed our children are at a place were we feel valued as a family and can see the genuine care and love for our children.

- Father

I have two boys that attend KinderCare and they absolutely love it. They are excited to go each and every morning. The teachers are fantastic and the directors are very involved in more ways than one, and always stay on top of everything. Everyone there is always friendly and always have a smile on their faces. My boys have developed and learned so much at an incredible rate since attending KinderCare. As a parent I couldn’t ask for much more out of a preschool, as for my children, I don’t think they could either. We all love it and I would highly recommend them to anyone in search of a preschool.

- Father

My five-year-old son has been attending KinderCare Learning Center since he was 13 weeks. It has been a great experience for my son as a student and for me as a parent. The associates are kind, knowledgeable and friendly. Although there are many wonderful things to say about Prairie View KinderCare, what I appreciate the most is that the staff truly cares about my son and his future. I feel he has gotten a great start here at KinderCare from the caring staff, the fun educational environment, the individual attention they give each student, and the all-important communication between parents and teachers. Keep up the great work and thanks for all you do!

- Parent

My twins have been attending Kindercare for just over a year. The staff is very responsive to any need for change and you can just feel the positive vibes coming off everyone there. Staff seem to love their jobs and our kids. My daughter has extra needs and the staff has gone above expectations to meet her needs, help her achieve goals and an overall overwhelming sense that they WANT our kids there. I would absolutely recommend it to another family.

- Mother

Our son Michael first joined KC during March 2012 when he was 1.5 years old.  We had spent the previous month or so touring different facilities, meeting with center directors, etc. in an attempt to find a good fit for Michael while we were at work.  Upon walking into KC, we were immediately impressed with the cleanliness of the center, the numerous labeled (& organized) 'stations', as well as all of the artwork and photos hanging on the walls.  However, the main deciding factor was the teachers.  All of Michael's teachers have made him feel special and unique each and every day they spend with him.  He is given the adequate attention he needs, yet the space to interact with his fellow classmates/friends.  As Michael has advanced through the different classrooms - he is now in the 3's class, we have continued to be impressed with the activities, topics discussed, and in turn the direct increase in his knowledge of day-to-day life lessons.  The best part is picking up Michael and seeing how excited he is to show off the different art work activities he has done during the day.  The 3's class has continued to challenge Michael while still offering a stable, safe and daily routine he needs to build his confidence.  Whether it has been helping us to teach Michael how to use his words, wean him off of his pacifier, learning how to use the big boy potty, or how to interact in a social environment, KC has been a huge help and asset in the development of our child's learning.  Thank you!

- Parents

Choosing a daycare center can be one of the most difficult decisions a parent makes.  Once we thought about it, we realized that our child’s teacher(s) were going to spend more awake time with him than we would during the workweek.  Like any parent we want the best for our child and with KinderCare we have made a great choice.
Our son has been enrolled since he was three months old.  Ms. Lauren did an amazing job nurturing our son and was just as excited when he could roll over, sit up, and take those first baby steps as we were.  Once our son graduated to Ms. Kristina and Ms. Kodi’s class his sense of exploration increased as he further developed social and communication skills. His teachers take the time to let us know how his day was and what adventures he accomplished during the day.
It takes a village to raise a child, and we certainly appreciate the one we have.  Ms. AJ and Ms. Jamie are as involved as our son’s teachers are and know just as well how his day was.   Our son has asthma and the Directors and his teachers are fully aware of the symptoms and administer the prescribed medical attention as he needs it.  The staff is wonderful at communicating with our family and we feel comfortable voicing any concern we may have with our son’s care.
It is comforting to know our son is in such caring hands while we are away.  KinderCare is truly a family beyond our family.
