AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited–nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference, and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY

Our kids are taking off!

By kindergarten, our kids are testing ahead of their peers. Read all about it.

Accreditation

Many of our child care centers are accredited by national organizations that require us to meet rigorous early childhood education standards and guidelines for high-quality care and education. Programs that are accredited have demonstrated their commitment to go beyond the state’s minimum licensing requirements to meet and maintain these high standards of quality.

Our Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks - 1 year)

Babies grow and learn every day. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing "home away from home" where babies can explore and make new discoveries. We know that learning through play is extremely valuable at this age and our Early Foundations® Infant program is designed to give babies the skills that will serve as the building blocks for a lifetime of learning.

Toddler Programs (1 – 2 Years)

As toddlers develop friendships, self-esteem, and curiosity, our Early Foundations® Toddler program will help them explore their world in a safe and nurturing environment. Our unique curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best through experiences. So each day is filled with fun activities that excite and develop toddlers, giving them the comfort and confidence to speak those first few important words, as well as make their first friends.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2 – 3 Years)

At this age, children are making new discoveries daily. And as two-year olds begin to exert their independence, our Early Foundations® Discovery Preschool program is prepared to open their eyes to a world of learning, sharing, and exploring. Our holistic approach in the classroom engages young minds with a blend of music, art, and movement, as well as the early education fundamentals they'll need as they continue on to preschool.

Preschool Programs (3 – 4 Years)

As preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they may feel ready to take on the world. Our Early Foundations® Preschool program enhances that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and lifelong learners. Through independent exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, children will work on early literacy, math, science, and social studies concepts. A healthy dose of running, jumping, and dancing keeps them active too.

Prekindergarten Programs (4 – 5 Years)

Prekindergartners are preparing for the adventure of a lifetime – school. And our Early Foundations Prekindergarten® program is designed to get them ready by teaching letters and words, math concepts, and valuable social skills. With small group instruction, independent play in an organized atmosphere, and whole-group activities, children will have all the right skills to hop, skip, and jump right into kindergarten.

Private Kindergarten Programs (5 – 6 Years)

As children reach school age, our comprehensive full-day kindergarten program helps them explore, communicate, and create – all in a nurturing, small-class setting. Our team of expert educators has created a unique curriculum of reading, language, arts, math, science, and physical fitness that’s presented in a fun way to encourage a lifelong love of learning. Plus, our program is aligned with local and state elementary school standards, so children will be prepared to confidently enter first grade.

Before- & After-School Programs (5 – 12 Years)

Even after school's out for the day, children need to be engaged in a comfortable, yet stimulating environment. That's where our Catch the Wave® program comes in. This innovative before – and after-school program allows school-age children to balance learning and fun through a variety of experiences. From homework help to fun physical activities, our program is designed so that everyone goes home happy.

Summer Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Don’t miss out on KinderCare’s Summer of Wonder: Six themed programs that will make summer exciting, educational and tons of fun. Whether your child is in our preschool, Pre-K or school-age programs, all of it is designed to help children learn while soaking up the fun. We offer flexible scheduling options to meet the needs of busy families like yours so we hope to see you there.

Participating Child Care Aware Center

KinderCare has partnered with Child Care Aware® of America in an effort to offer fee assistance for Active Duty military families and solutions to their child care needs when care at a Child Development Center on the installation is not available.

Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program

Cooking

The Cooking Adventures program gives children opportunities to participate in fun, developmentally appropriate cooking experiences. They will learn about recipes, ingredients, cooking vocabulary, and the importance of a healthy diet. The curriculum includes lessons on picnics, pizza, and heart-healthy meals.

Music

Ongoing research proves that early exposure to music helps children think, reason, create, and express themselves. Children will laugh and learn about rhythm, vocal melodies, and a variety of musical genres and instruments, which can lower stress and advance memory. Learning never sounded so good.

Phonics & Reading Adventures

Set your child up for advanced success with literacy through phonics, the study of letters and sounds. Reader books, games, and activity cards help your child understand the basics of vowels and blending syllables, giving him confidence and command of language.

Teachers & Staff

Come tour our center and give us the opportunity to show off our awesome staff. We have teachers certified in early childhood education, bilingual education, and special education who are doing amazing things with the students. We also have teachers who have been with us for over 25 years. Your child is sure to have an excellent experience at our center.

Ms. Tania's goal is to provide an environment where children will gain the comfort and confidence to forge trusting relationships, value their individuality, and have fun just being themselves. She helps children engage in the world around them by enhancing their verbal and nonverbal communication skills. There’s no one-size-fits-all method for teaching a child to use the toilet, and so Ms. Tania actively seeks out ways to help each individual child and their family navigate this developmental milestone in the way that's best for them. Children in her classroom make new friends and gain the confidence, self-esteem, and negotiating skills necessary for a lifetime of healthy relationships.  Families are always invited to join Ms. Tania's class for story time or for one of the center's monthly Community Social Events. • Ms. Pat

    Ms. Pat, Prekindergarten Classroom

Ms. Pat's goal is to provide a literacy-rich classroom with plenty of opportunities for children to explore books and writing. As a leader in early childhood education, KinderCare knows that one of the best predictors of a successful reader is the amount of time a child spends reading--so Ms. Pat uses daily journal activities to practice writing skills; helps foster early reading skills by connecting sounds to letters through picture and word collages; teaches basic sight words in fun and engaging ways; and encourages the development of phonemic awareness through literacy-based games, books, and puzzles. Children in her class build brain power while making new friends and learning valuable social skills to set them up for success in elementary school. Ms. Pat has been an educator at KinderCare for over 30 years and has had the privilege to teach multiple siblings from the same families. She holds an associate's degree in education and cherishes the opportunity to continue her professional growth through ongoing professional development courses and seminars throughout the year. Reading, writing, and math are important and children learn by experiencing the world around them, so Ms. Apple provides ample opportunities for children to do it all! She also provides regular teacher-family communication, including ways to connect children's learning at home so that parents can stay informed and involved in their child's education. August
August's Learning Focus

Children 6 weeks to 3 years old: All About Me and Dinosaurs
Infants and toddlers will learn all about themselves while kids in Discovery Preschool will take a look at our favorite extinct creatures: dinosaurs! Infants will look at their reflections in mirrors, listen to voices through cardboard tubes to encourage babbling, and practice self-expression as they move while listening to music. Toddlers will create body-related artwork (like paintings of their faces) and imagine the future as they pretend to be all grown up while playing dress-up. Meanwhile, children in Discovery Preschool are in for a “dinomite” time learning all about dinosaurs and their habitats, and they’ll build essential skills through fun, theme-related activities—like counting dinosaur eggs and going on pretend fossil hunts!

Children 4 to 5 years old: Foods and Flavors, Shapes and Colors, and Alphabet Letters/Review
For the first two weeks of August, older children will be learning all about the basic food groups, where food comes from, and how to make healthful food choices. After that, preschoolers will be getting artsy as they explore shapes and colors using materials like blocks, paint, play dough, and colored water—and they’ll even take their knowledge outdoors with scavenger hunts for colors and shapes! Their older friends in Pre-K and Transitional Kindergarten will be getting up close and personal with the alphabet as they learn uppercase and lowercase letters, the sounds the letters make, and how those sounds can be combined to make words—all culminating with the creation of a classroom alphabet book.

Share Your Story
If you have a story about your experience at KinderCare, please share your story with us.

I have so much to say about the amazing team in El Paso and really don’t know where to start. Vista Del Sol KinderCare has given me and my children for the last three years the feeling of a home away from home, which I was unable to find in any other place. At the same time, it has been a place where my children have grown exponentially by learning how water freezes to ice, who Benjamin Franklin and President Lincoln were, how to speak Spanish and identify key words, and how to learn to write their name and the full alphabet at the age of three, just to name a few amazing lessons. Our Director and all her staff are exceptional educators and women who love what they do--hence their very impressive tenure with the company, which is invaluable.  They support our children through difficult times, as well as us parents, and always show genuine caring and concern for the whole family. I could not go to work comfortably each day without knowing my children are being well taken care of and at the same time are learning and being challenged to explore and reach beyond their wildest dreams. I have told my Director my money is well spent at KinderCare, and now that my children are going to school full time I can definitely see the benefits and rewards of a fun, educational, structured, caring environment that they experienced at KinderCare in their earlier years. Thank you to Ms. Becky, Ms. Martha, Ms. Pat, Ms. Suzie, Ms. Gaby, Ms. Stephanie, and all the others on this team for their constant smiles, supportive parenting advice, warm hugs (to both our kids and us, by the way), and uplifting outlooks on life that help us get through each day with a smile.

- Mother

My daughter has been attending a Nationally Accredited KinderCare Learning Center since she was an infant. She is now four-and-a-half years old and so ready for kindergarten. KinderCare’s prekindergarten curriculum has taught her letters and words, math concepts, and valuable social skills that have developed her into a bright, smart student. All of the teachers at KinderCare are well qualified and experienced, but most of all very loving to my daughter and the other children.

- Mother

I am writing this letter to inform you of the outstanding service that my family has received over the past two decades from two KinderCare Learning Centers here in El Paso, Texas. Vista Del Sol KinderCare has provided the utmost caring and preschool education experience for children. The additional education they received has been priceless to their upbringing. They still speak of the memories that were created by the personification within the KinderCare staff. Ms. Frances, Ms. Becky, Ms. Pat, Ms. Martha, and Ms. Suzie from the Vista Del Sol location in El Paso, Texas. All of them are the epitome of what child care providers should be like and I want to take this opportunity to say “thank you, you are the best in the business!” The latest addition to our family currently attends the KinderCare Learning Center located on Enid Count, also in El Paso, Texas. We have seen our son improve drastically with his speech, learning, and motor skills ever since he began his journey at KinderCare. Ms. GiGi, Ms. Mila, and Ms. Rita who currently care for him have demonstrated that they are also adhering to the same standards and essence set by Director Barbara and her team of dedicated providers. We are proud to say our kiddos are “KinderCare Kids.”

- Father and Mother

I am not sure if there is one phrase that can convey how grateful we are to have the phenomenal ladies at Vista Del Sol KinderCare as part of our lives. From the moment I walked through the door, I knew they had something very special going on and it has continued every day since. The energy, smiles, happiness, and love you see... it starts with each one of them! So in a very small way, we want to say thank you! Thank you for knowing what makes our son giggle and for helping him to learn to love green beans. Thank you for smiling and putting on a brave face when its been a rough day. Thank you for everything you have allowed his dad and I to accomplish. Thank you for the projects, the exploration time, the reading time, and the little notes on his daily reports! And thank you most of all for caring about all three of us and loving our son like he is family! One day my little man will be able to write this note himself and he will be able to talk about all the awesome things they've done together and how much he loves them I really can't wait to read it because I know it's going to show the spirit of a wonderful little man they are helping us to raise. Thank you ladies, from the bottom of our hearts, for everything you do every single day!
