At the West Carol Stream KinderCare, our staff has decades of experience in early childhood education. We have teachers that hold degrees from Associates in Early Childhood to Masters in Education. Each of them is dedicated to providing a rich and meaningful experience for the children in their care.
Maia has been involved in the field of Early Childhood Education since 1986. She has touched the lives of thousands of children and their families through years of teaching, leading, and inspiring. As a former teacher, administrator, and parent, Maia is dedicated to the principle that play is an important vehicle for children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Maia has experience working as a Lead Classroom Teacher, Parent Educator and Director.
Valerie is truly passionate about working with children and loves watching them grow. She has experience as a teacher working with various age groups, including Infant through School Age. These experiences, in addition to her educational background and perspective as a parent, allow her to provide the best possible care for the children and their families.
Valerie has worked with a variety of age groups as a lead teacher, which includes experience working with special needs children.

Kelly has been working with KinderCare since 2006. She transferred to the West Carol Stream KinderCare from the Geneva East Center where she was the lead Infant teacher. Kelly studied Early Childhood and Elementary Education at Carthage College and Monmouth College. In 2011 she was blessed with her daughter who has shown Kelly a deeper appreciation and love for children. She truly loves her job and being able to spark the love of learning.

Ms. Pam worked at KinderCare for six years and after a short break returned to work because she missed interacting with young children. In addition to her Child Development Associate's Credential, Ms. Pam has Early Childhood Education credits in college and plans to go back to school to further her education.
Ms. Petra joined our team in 2013. She has a passion for teaching children and enjoys watching them grow. She believes that the most rewarding aspect of working with children is helping them meet milestones. In her eyes, a successful classroom is one in which there is a nurturing and caring environment. Ms. Petra is currently enrolled in the College of Dupage.

Ms. Lisa has been an employee with Knowledge Universe since August 1990. She has her Associate's Degree in Child Care and Development. While growing up she enjoyed a lot of babysitting and with it, other fun and challenging experiences working with children. Her favorite thing about working with children is seeing them grow and learn new skills.

Since moving to the USA, Ms. Lana has worked as an Infant and Toddler specialist for three different KinderCare locations in the Northwest suburbs, winning countless awards and praise from new and old parents. "The exceptional love and care you share with each and every child is truly appreciated." These types of statements are continuously bestowed upon her. Ms. Lana is a true professional and loved by her children and parents.
Ms. Lana started teaching before she graduated from University. After she received her Master's Degree she became a Center Director.

Ms. Amanda graduated from Western Illinois University in May with her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education She started at our center in August. Ms. Amanda is currently one of the lead teachers in our Toddler classroom. She enjoys engaging with the children as they create various art projects and integrating the monthly theme into various activities. Ms. Amanda is willing to do anything in the classroom to help the children grow and learn every day.
Prior to joining KinderCare Ms. Amanda worked as a dance teacher.

Ms. Linda has been working at our center for almost two years. Although her degree is in Business Management, she has found her passion in a different area. When trying to figure out what she wanted to do with the second part of her life, she chose to work with children. Her energy and passion for being creative has meant a lot of dancing, singing and art projects for her kids. The days go by fast and she feels there is never enough time to do it all. But then she remembers tomorrow is another day and they will all be there with their smiling faces waiting for her to bring more fun.
Prior to joining KinderCare Ms. Linda worked as a nanny for three years.

Ms. Trudy has worked for KinderCare for eleven years and has been at the West Carol Stream center for four years. She attended Tri-County College in South Carolina and studied Early Child Development. She recently earned her Child Development Associate's Credential. Ms. Trudy loves small group time, including singing songs and reading books. Watching their facial expressions as they participate in activities make it all worth it.
Prior to joining KinderCare Ms. Trudy worked for eight years at the Developmental Center for Exceptional Children.

Ms. Kayla has been with the West Carol Stream KinderCare for over a year. She started working in our School Age classroom and has recently joined our Discovery Preschool class. She has completed her Child Development Associate's Credential and is continuing to take classes through Rasmussen. Ms. Kayla is a very artistic and hands on teacher. She is always trying to find new ways to enhance learning for the children with her own twist on activities.
Prior to joining KinderCare Ms. Kayla worked at a nursing home.

Ms. Monica has been a part of the West Carol Stream KinderCare family for the past seven years. She has two Childhood Development Associate's Credentials and is currently enrolled at Rasmussen College in pursuit of her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Development with a Specialization in Child and Family Studies.
Prior to joining KinderCare Ms. Monica taught English at a Preschool in Mexico.
Ms. Brittany is a Preschool teacher who started with the West Carol Stream KinderCare in September of 2012. She is currently attending the College of Dupage and is majoring in Early Childhood Education. Prior to working at KinderCare, she volunteered at her siblings' elementary school. She also took Early Childhood Education classes in high school. These experiences helped shape her interest in teaching. Ms. Brittany can't help but smile every time a child walks into her classroom, ready to learn.

Ms. Annie has a Master's of Arts Degree with an endorsement in English as a Second Language from Aurora University. She also gained her teaching certificate through Illinois State University and is certified to teach Kindergarten through fifth grade. Before coming to KinderCare, Ms. Annie worked in the Early Childhood Special Education Program for the West Chicago public School District. She has been at the West Carol Stream KinderCare since August of 2012 after transferring from her position as a Prekindergarten teacher at the Glen Ellyn KinderCare. Ms. Annie started at the West Carol Stream KinderCare as our Prekindergarten teacher and is now the full-time Private Kindergarten teacher.
Prior to joining KinderCare Ms. Annie worked in the Early Childhood Special Education Program for the West Chicago Public School District.
Ms. Maddy loves the Early Childhood Education field and especially the children. Having the opportunity to help with curriculum activities is a great experience. She loves that the children are learning something new each day and is proud to be a part of that. Ms. Maddy is a mother of five and will soon receive her Associate's Degree in Registered Nursing for Pediatrics. Working with children has always been her passion.
Prior to joining KinderCare Ms. Maddy volunteered at elementary schools and worked as a Medical Assistant at Children's Memorial Hospital.
