We are committed to providing all children with a comprehensive learning experience where children and educators grow in curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity. We envision Lake Cook KinderCare as a place to foster the development of social, emotional, and academic skills among children ages birth to twelve years old.
Each child entrusted in our care should leave our center ready to engage in meaningful ways in the elementary school setting, having internalized our core values of imagination, curiosity, rigor, and service.
We observe the following holidays: New Year's Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
Please note that because holidays observed may vary between centers, please be sure to check with your Center Director for specific closures.
At the Lake Cook KinderCare, your child's safety is one of our top priorities. Our center features a key-coded entry and two fenced-in playgrounds. We conduct name to face counts every 30 minutes along with monthly fire and disaster drills. Our teachers and staff members are fully background checked and are CPR and First Aid certified. We also follow stringent health and safety procedures, such as hand-washing, safe sleep practices and much more, to ensure everyone stays healthy and safe!
Over the last year and a half I have built a relationship with the Kindercare Center directors and staff. The expression, "it takes a village to raise a child" could not be more true in today's world. As a full-time working mom, I am often wrecked with the guilt of leaving a crying child or having to work when my child is feeling under the weather. The caring and nurturing staff at Kindercare works diligently to support me and my child. There have been innumerable times that I have had to have the staff administer medicine or breathing treatments to my child. Every time I have felt secure and confident that I am leaving my child in the best possible treatment. The staff loves and supports my daughter. The feeling is reciprocal. Two year olds can be fickle but when she comes home reporting love for her teacher and the center staff, I know that it is a result of the many hours and attention they provide to her. I feel blessed to have the support of such a capable, caring staff. I have received help and support from every staff member, I don't believe that my thanks will ever be sufficient. I just couldn't do it without their help. Again, I express my gratitude and many thanks.
