Alicia has been the Center Director at the Village Boulevard KinderCare In West Palm Beach since June 2012. She has worked with Knowledge Universe and our centers since 2007. Prior to becoming a Center Director at KinderCare, Alicia worked as a Voluntary Prekindergarten teacher at another location. As a veteran employee, she has gained valuable experience and insight into early childcare; She understands that each child is a unique individual and strives to cultivate their qualities through actively participating in the center and with it members. Alicia thrives on motivating and coaching. She encourages engaged employees for a happy environment and even happier kids! From implementing Learning Adventure Programs, to offering community assistance to families in need. Alicia is very passionate and committed to meeting the educational and social needs of today's children. She understands and empathizes with the huge demands that are put on contemporary parents in these days and strives to alleviate some of the pressures by giving parents peace of mind while they are at work. The children at her school develop a love for learning and the confidence to succeed!
Prior to joining KinderCare, Alicia worked with two other childcare providers over a eight year period.

Ms. Olga is always very caring and works hard every day. She loves playing and spending time with her children. Whether she is coming or going, she gives love to every student that she comes across. Ms. Olga also likes to maintain a healthy and safe classroom. She takes time to ensure that children are happy and satisfied every day. She believes that a smile and a positive attitude is all you need to have a great day!
Ms. Olga had her own in-home daycare and was a receptionist for a pediatric office.

Ms. Sue loves each one of her infants and their parents. She has made lifetime friends and still keeps in touch with many of her former students and their parents.
Prior to KinderCare, Ms. Sue taught special education in the public school district for five years in Richmond, Virginia. After her three daughters started school, she became a substitute teacher and later worked with children with learning disabilities in Wisconsin.

Ms. Idalmes was born in Cuba and graduated as a Computer Programming Technician. She came to the United Stated and began working in a Montessori based center. She had the opportunity to attend some courses to further her education and to share her experiences working with other teachers. Ms. Idalmes loves working with the two year old children. Her passion for teaching is evident in all she does for our center.
Prior to joining KinderCare, Ms. Idalmes began working with children in a Montessori school during 2008.

Ms. Lourdes joined KinderCare in March of 2013. She has been in the education field since 2008. Ms. Lourdes earned her Associate's of Arts Degree from Palm Beach State College and is currently working towards her Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Florida Atlantic University. She is a native Spanish speaker originally from Puerto Rico. What she enjoys most about her job is working with children, their families and learning more about the development in education. Ms. Lourdes’ role is to create a safe, positive and enriched learning environment for children in her care. She is devoted to the well-being of her students. Ms. Lourdes enjoys the outdoors, extreme sports, traveling, trying new foods and shopping. Her hobbies include riding motorcycles, visiting new places, knitting, scrap-booking and reading.
Prior to joining KinderCare Ms. Lourdes worked at Indian Ridge School in West Palm Beach as a Paraprofessional Assistant and at Kids-R-Kreative Learning Center as a Preschool teacher.

Latasha is always happy and loves spending time with children. Her classroom is very clean. Her demeanor is patient and loyal. Teaching is her true passion!
Ms. Latasha gained previous experience as a nanny.

Ashanta's professionalism speaks for itself. She believes in teaching with the intentions of preparing every student to be successful in today's society. Her work ethic goes above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that everyone feels safe. She is very nuturing to the children in her care.
Prior to KinderCare, Ms. Ashanta was employeed at the city of Greenacres Youth Programs.

Ms. Laura is enthusiastic and involved in her classroom throughout the day, creating a positive environment for fun and learning. Her goal is to focus on educational, social, emotional, and physical growth for all the children of her class.
Ms. Laura came to KinderCare with 12 years of teaching VPK, working as a Curriculum Specialist, Assistant Director, and Aftercare & Center Coordinator.

Ms. Wendy was born and raised in Georgetown, South Carolina. As a teacher she understands the importance of providing children with knowledge and life skills that will help them to live a fruitful life. Ms. Wendy graduated from Benedict College with the highest GPA in her class. She has a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Child and Family Development. Some of her responsibilities include lesson planning, implementing the curriculum and providing quality care for children.
