Welcome

Our experts designed our classrooms — and every activity and lesson executed within — to help prepare your child for success in school and beyond. With designated learning centers, such as dramatic play and blocks in every classroom, children have the opportunity for rich social play and self-initiated discovery. You’ll also find that our classrooms feature a print-rich environment full of carefully selected materials, such as written charts and labels, as well as children’s literature. By helping your child connect spoken words and print, we’re helping develop early literacy and writing skills. Whether your child has first words or first grade on the horizon, we’re excited to show you how everything in our center is designed for learning!

Accreditation

Many of our child care centers are accredited by national organizations that require us to meet rigorous early childhood education standards and guidelines for high-quality care and education. Programs that are accredited have demonstrated their commitment to go beyond the state’s minimum licensing requirements to meet and maintain these high standards of quality.

Our Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks - 1 year)

Babies grow and learn every day. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing "home away from home" where babies can explore and make new discoveries. We know that learning through play is extremely valuable at this age and our Early Foundations® Infant program is designed to give babies the skills that will serve as the building blocks for a lifetime of learning.

Toddler Programs (1 – 2 Years)

As toddlers develop friendships, self-esteem, and curiosity, our Early Foundations® Toddler program will help them explore their world in a safe and nurturing environment. Our unique curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best through experiences. So each day is filled with fun activities that excite and develop toddlers, giving them the comfort and confidence to speak those first few important words, as well as make their first friends.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2 – 3 Years)

At this age, children are making new discoveries daily. And as two-year olds begin to exert their independence, our Early Foundations® Discovery Preschool program is prepared to open their eyes to a world of learning, sharing, and exploring. Our holistic approach in the classroom engages young minds with a blend of music, art, and movement, as well as the early education fundamentals they'll need as they continue on to preschool.

Preschool Programs (3 – 4 Years)

As preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they may feel ready to take on the world. Our Early Foundations® Preschool program enhances that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and lifelong learners. Through independent exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, children will work on early literacy, math, science, and social studies concepts. A healthy dose of running, jumping, and dancing keeps them active too.

Prekindergarten Programs (4 – 5 Years)

Prekindergartners are preparing for the adventure of a lifetime – school. And our Early Foundations Prekindergarten® program is designed to get them ready by teaching letters and words, math concepts, and valuable social skills. With small group instruction, independent play in an organized atmosphere, and whole-group activities, children will have all the right skills to hop, skip, and jump right into kindergarten.

Before- & After-School Programs (5 – 12 Years)

Even after school's out for the day, children need to be engaged in a comfortable, yet stimulating environment. That's where our Catch the Wave® program comes in. This innovative before – and after-school program allows school-age children to balance learning and fun through a variety of experiences. From homework help to fun physical activities, our program is designed so that everyone goes home happy.

Summer Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Don’t miss out on KinderCare’s Summer of Wonder: Six themed programs that will make summer exciting, educational and tons of fun. Whether your child is in our preschool, Pre-K or school-age programs, all of it is designed to help children learn while soaking up the fun. We offer flexible scheduling options to meet the needs of busy families like yours so we hope to see you there.

Participating Child Care Aware Center

KinderCare has partnered with Child Care Aware® of America in an effort to offer fee assistance for Active Duty military families and solutions to their child care needs when care at a Child Development Center on the installation is not available.

Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program

Cooking

The Cooking Adventures program gives children opportunities to participate in fun, developmentally appropriate cooking experiences. They will learn about recipes, ingredients, cooking vocabulary, and the importance of a healthy diet. The curriculum includes lessons on picnics, pizza, and heart-healthy meals.

Math

The Math Adventures enrichment program is designed to teach important mathematics concepts such as geometry, numbers, measurement, and probability. Your child will learn about length, height, and weight. He will learn about shapes and solids. He will learn how to add, subtract, multiply, and count money. Math is everywhere and giving your child every advantage now will add up to success later in life.

Music

Ongoing research proves that early exposure to music helps children think, reason, create, and express themselves. Children will laugh and learn about rhythm, vocal melodies, and a variety of musical genres and instruments, which can lower stress and advance memory. Learning never sounded so good.

Phonics & Reading Adventures

Set your child up for advanced success with literacy through phonics, the study of letters and sounds. Reader books, games, and activity cards help your child understand the basics of vowels and blending syllables, giving him confidence and command of language.

Spanish

Spanish Adventures provides young learners with a foundation for later success with the Spanish language. Music, games, children's Spanish literature, and other tools give children multiple opportunities to hear, practice, and see Spanish language for vocabulary and conversational development. Curriculum includes lessons on greetings, numbers, colors, animals, family, body parts and pets as well as how to get engage conversationally during common scenarios at home, a restaurant, or at the zoo. 1. January's Learning Focus

Children 6 weeks to 3 years old: Light and Dark, plus the Sky and Weather

Through shadow play, experiments with flashlights, observing the Sun and more, infants and toddlers will enjoy learning about light and dark this month. Infants continue sensory development by looking at contrasting patterns and at objects that are clearly defined by sharp edges and bright colors, while toddlers will build on their understanding of the light and dark concepts with play around daytime and nighttime. The older Discovery Preschool children will turn their attention to the sky as they learn about weather, the Moon, the Sun, and stars.

Children 4–5 years old: Transportation, Healthy Bodies, and Winter

For children in the Preschool and Kindergarten classrooms, January is filled with variety! They’ll begin by learning about transportation and studying how things get from “here” to “there.” A few weeks later, the focus will shift to health and bodies, with an emphasis placed on how to make good choices for a growing body. Towards the end of the month, children will be introduced to the transformative nature of the winter season and learn how to dress and take care of themselves when it’s cold outside.

December 2016 Events

  1. Thursday December 01, 2016
    1. December's Learning Focus

Children 6 weeks to 3 years old: Family, Friends, and Things that Go!

Infants and toddlers will be exploring family and friends, while three-year-olds will focus on things that go vroom! Social and emotional development is foundational to growth and development in babies, so this month, infants and toddlers will participate in activities that reinforce their connection to family while also exploring connections that exist outside their home, such as friends. Meanwhile, their older friends in Discovery Preschool will learn about and play around with things that move (like bicycles, cars, buses, trains, and airplanes), which are all very exciting for little ones as they continue to explore the world outside their homes.

Children 4–5 years old: My Country + Tools and Machines

The four- and five-year-olds continue exploring the world around them by learning about the state and country they live in! They’ll sings songs, play games based on travel, and learn about flags, state foods, and more. Children will also be introduced to cardinal directions (east, west, north, and south) and gain an appreciation for travel and meeting new friends from different places.

Children are naturally fascinated with machines and how things work and are put together. So to encourage that fascination, during the second half of this month children will learn about and play around with tools and machines. In addition to building literacy skills by using the names of machines and tools, children will develop math skills by graphing information, counting wheels, and more.

If you have a story about your experience at KinderCare, please share your story with us.

As a parent searching for a daycare center is huge.. My daughter started in the toddler room and is almost in the discovery preschool room. I have watched her grow so much and learn new things every day. The staff here are great. As a child I attended the same Kindercare so it's great to see such a wonderful staff team and all the smiling faces you see as you walk in. I would recommend this center to anyone who was looking for one near by!

- Mother

We came to here for before and after school care after having to move our daughter from the school she went to for three years. We were extremely nervous about the change, but the wonderful Director, Hallie, put both our daughter and us at ease. Every single person who works there exudes warmth, care, and fun. My daughter runs in the door every morning and sometimes needs to be dragged out in the afternoon. We are thrilled with our experience, and feel lucky that we ended up at this center with the wonderful teachers and management staff.

- Mother

My two sons, now in the discovery preschool classroom and prekindergarten classroom, have attended this KinderCare since they were each infants. The teachers quickly became like family to our children. Many of the students in my son's infant class are in his current class, which speaks volumes for this center.<br /> <br /> More specifically, the care they show is great. My two-year-old who is very active and daring has many food allergies and skin conditions, so the care and trust I have with them caring for his allergies and conditions are unmatched.&nbsp; As an elementary school teacher, I want to ensure that my four- year-old is as ready as he can be for kindergarten next year. He is loving the preschool program and learning how to write his letters and numbers while becoming more curious and engaged than ever!<br /> <br /> We are lucky to have been blessed with such amazing teachers and staff at this center!

- Mother

We are so pleased with the patience, warmth and experience of the teachers. My children love coming each day and have learned so much both in the classroom and in the enrichment program. Management is always available and receptive to concerns and questions. We highly recommend this center.

- Father

After relocating to this area from the south, we looked at several day care centers for our then two-year-old son. We were welcomed with smiles and open arms and our son felt very safe in a very new environment. From age two until now at age five, our son has grown into a very kind, smart, respectful boy and much of his personality and character is due to the teachers and directors at this center.<br /> Communication is key in our family and we are very fortunate that this center has strong communication. Whether your child has special dietary needs or any other "special needs", all of the teachers we have come across at this center truly care about the development of not only our son, but all children, and take the time to learn about each child.<br /> We are thankful to have found this center as we know our son is being enriched by all staff members.

- Mother

Finding a good child care situation is one of the biggest challenges for parents, and we feel so lucky to have found this KinderCare. Our daughter started at three months, and is still here now as a three-year-old. When we had our son a year ago, we didn't hesitate to bring him here as well. The teachers in every room are fantastic, and the managers are top-notch as well. Our kids are very well taken care of, and the staff members always take the time to speak with us, tell us how the kids are doing, and answer our questions. The best part of my day is when I pick up the kids, because they are always so happy with smiles on their faces. I’d recommend this KinderCare to anyone!

- Parent

Leaving one’s baby with a stranger is no small emotional feat. To me, it is really the largest greatest amount of trust one can place in another person. But from the day I have met the ladies of KinderCare, I have nothing but the utmost respect for the professionalism and compassion that they bring to their positions. They are a credit to the field of baby care and I am lucky to have found such an amazing group of loving, knowledgeable, capable women to care for my most precious babies.
