Welcome to Issaquah II KinderCare. Our experts designed our classrooms — and every activity and lesson — to help prepare your child for success in school and beyond. With designated learning centers such as dramatic play and blocks in every classroom, children have the opportunity for rich social play and child-initiated discovery. You’ll also find that our classrooms feature a print-rich environment full of carefully selected materials, written charts and labels, and children’s literature. By helping your child connect spoken words and print, we’re helping develop early literacy and writing skills. Whether your child has first words or first grade on the horizon, we’re excited to show you how everything in our center is designed for learning!

Many of our child care centers are accredited by national organizations that require us to meet rigorous early childhood education standards and guidelines for high-quality care and education. Programs that are accredited have demonstrated their commitment to go beyond the state’s minimum licensing requirements to meet and maintain these high standards of quality.
Babies grow and learn every day. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing "home away from home" where babies can explore and make new discoveries. We know that learning through play is extremely valuable at this age and our Early Foundations® Infant program is designed to give babies the skills that will serve as the building blocks for a lifetime of learning.
As toddlers develop friendships, self-esteem, and curiosity, our Early Foundations® Toddler program will help them explore their world in a safe and nurturing environment. Our unique curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best through experiences. So each day is filled with fun activities that excite and develop toddlers, giving them the comfort and confidence to speak those first few important words, as well as make their first friends.
At this age, children are making new discoveries daily. And as two-year olds begin to exert their independence, our Early Foundations® Discovery Preschool program is prepared to open their eyes to a world of learning, sharing, and exploring. Our holistic approach in the classroom engages young minds with a blend of music, art, and movement, as well as the early education fundamentals they'll need as they continue on to preschool.
As preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they may feel ready to take on the world. Our Early Foundations® Preschool program enhances that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and lifelong learners. Through independent exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, children will work on early literacy, math, science, and social studies concepts. A healthy dose of running, jumping, and dancing keeps them active too.
Prekindergartners are preparing for the adventure of a lifetime – school. And our Early Foundations Prekindergarten® program is designed to get them ready by teaching letters and words, math concepts, and valuable social skills. With small group instruction, independent play in an organized atmosphere, and whole-group activities, children will have all the right skills to hop, skip, and jump right into kindergarten.
Don’t miss out on KinderCare’s Summer of Wonder: Six themed programs that will make summer exciting, educational and tons of fun. Whether your child is in our preschool, Pre-K or school-age programs, all of it is designed to help children learn while soaking up the fun. We offer flexible scheduling options to meet the needs of busy families like yours so we hope to see you there.
KinderCare has partnered with Child Care Aware® of America in an effort to offer fee assistance for Active Duty military families and solutions to their child care needs when care at a Child Development Center on the installation is not available.
The Math Adventures enrichment program is designed to teach important mathematics concepts such as geometry, numbers, measurement, and probability. Your child will learn about length, height, and weight. He will learn about shapes and solids. He will learn how to add, subtract, multiply, and count money. Math is everywhere and giving your child every advantage now will add up to success later in life.
Ongoing research proves that early exposure to music helps children think, reason, create, and express themselves. Children will laugh and learn about rhythm, vocal melodies, and a variety of musical genres and instruments, which can lower stress and advance memory. Learning never sounded so good.
Set your child up for advanced success with literacy through phonics, the study of letters and sounds. Reader books, games, and activity cards help your child understand the basics of vowels and blending syllables, giving him confidence and command of language.
Our center is closed Thanksgiving Day and the day after.
Caring and Passionate
KinderCare teachers are passionate about your child's happiness and growth and provide a safe, nurturing environment that cultivates self-esteem. This is more than a job for our teachers. It’s an opportunity for them to share their passion for life while they inspire, engage, and awaken the wonder inside each and every child.
Highly Trained Teachers
KinderCare devotes more time and resources to teacher training than any other childcare provider. Twice a year we host the largest early childhood teacher training program in the country. Our teachers are dedicated to developing your child's potential and are sensitive to your child's individual needs.
Small Class Size
Our low teacher-to-student ratios allow teachers to focus on the individual learning styles and needs of each child in our center.
The Preschool age is my favorite. I love the free hugs and endless amount of artwork from future artists! I have the wonderful opportunity to create lasting friendships as well as impact a child's life.
Jamie has worked in the Early Childhood Education field for over ten years. She has been both a teacher and a manager. She brings a wealth of knowledge and inspiration to our center.
It is an amazing feeling to help teachers, children and families be successful in their long term and short term goals. I am proud of all we have accomplished and with children excitedly greeting me 'Miss Lacey! Miss Lacey!' I feel like a rock star every time I walk into a classroom.
Lacey was born and raised here in Washington and loves living in the area. She has two children and spends as much time as possible doing "family events." Lacey enjoys all things outdoors especially, camping, hiking and puddle jumping with her children. Lacey also has a love for reading and volunteers as often as possible at her children's school to read. Over the years that Lacey has been at KinderCare she been a teacher in our Discovery Preschool, Preschool and Prekindergarten classrooms. She has also been a Program Specialist and is familiar with all of the programs we offer.
What I love most about teaching is watching the children learn and grow! I love having the opportunity to make a difference in a child's life from the very beginning!
Ms. Michelle joined KinderCare in November 2013 and is currently a teacher in our Infant A classroom. Prior to becoming a part of our KinderCare team Michelle was a journeyman cake decorator and owned her own cake shop. She brings the creativity and energy used to create amazing works of edible art into the Infant room where she helps lay the foundation for infants in discovering the world around them.
I love Prekindergarten because the kids are always so upbeat and love to laugh with me!
Ms. Kami has been with KinderCare since March 2014. She is currently the Lead teacher of our Prekindergarten B classroom. Before teaching Prekindergarten here Ms. Kami taught Preschool. She is working towards a Masters Degree in Teaching at Grand Canyon University, if all goes according to plan she will be set to graduate in December 2015. Ms. Kami is originally from Spokane, WA. She loves Thai food and the color red.
I love Preschool because I get hugs everyday from children who are excited to see me, whether it be first thing in the morning when I walk in or as the child comes into the class. I love seeing the children smile and know that I'm helping them learn new things everyday!
Ms. Heather joined KinderCare in March 2014. She is currently teaching in our Preschool Classroom. Prior to joining our Preschool team she was the cook at another KinderCare. Ms. Heather is from the Seattle area. She has three daughters and a son. She loves Mexican food, the color teal and the book “Anne Frank.”
I love this classroom because it is inviting and colorful and it is where my students come to learn, play and grow – It Makes Me Happy!!
Ms. Cindy joined KinderCare in 2002 and is currently a teacher in our Toddler B class. In the time that she has been with us has spent time teaching both our younger and older toddlers. Ms. Cindy has a BA in English from the University of Washington. She was born here in Washington and has a passion for reading, loves the color lavender and her favorite food is chicken. The thing she loves most about teaching is coming to work every day and being a part of a child’s journey in the learning process and knowing that she impacted their lives in a positive way.
Two times each year we dedicate a day for our staff's professional development to further their training and better equip them for the care of your child. The center will be closed on this day for training to occur. If you have questions or would like to request further details, please contact your local Center Director.
Your entire family is welcome to join us October 18th for our community social. Come see how family-style dining is done at our center, mingle with other families, and, best of all, enjoy a healthy snack with your child!
You’ll better understand how we turn our meals into learning experiences and encourage the children to try new foods, practice table manners, use utensils, and simply enjoy a great meal and good company! See you there!

At KinderCare Learning Centers, your child's safety is one of our top priorities. Not only are our outside perimeter doors locked to ensure security, but all of our playgrounds are fenced with locked gates as well. In addition, the front door of the building has a coded entry where only authorized Family members have the code. At Issaquah KinderCare we have a Health and Safety Coordinator on site as well. Safeta's role includes conducting monthly fire drills and earthquake drills , ensuring that all staff's first aid and CPR certificates are up to date, and maintaining high cleanliness standards.
