We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited–nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference, and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

Our kids are taking off!

By kindergarten, our kids are testing ahead of their peers. Read all about it.

Many of our child care centers are accredited by national organizations that require us to meet rigorous early childhood education standards and guidelines for high-quality care and education. Programs that are accredited have demonstrated their commitment to go beyond the state’s minimum licensing requirements to meet and maintain these high standards of quality.

Our Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks - 1 year)

Babies grow and learn every day. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing "home away from home" where babies can explore and make new discoveries. We know that learning through play is extremely valuable at this age and our Early Foundations® Infant program is designed to give babies the skills that will serve as the building blocks for a lifetime of learning.

Toddler Programs (1 – 2 Years)

As toddlers develop friendships, self-esteem, and curiosity, our Early Foundations® Toddler program will help them explore their world in a safe and nurturing environment. Our unique curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best through experiences. So each day is filled with fun activities that excite and develop toddlers, giving them the comfort and confidence to speak those first few important words, as well as make their first friends.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2 – 3 Years)

At this age, children are making new discoveries daily. And as two-year olds begin to exert their independence, our Early Foundations® Discovery Preschool program is prepared to open their eyes to a world of learning, sharing, and exploring. Our holistic approach in the classroom engages young minds with a blend of music, art, and movement, as well as the early education fundamentals they'll need as they continue on to preschool.

Preschool Programs (3 – 4 Years)

As preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they may feel ready to take on the world. Our Early Foundations® Preschool program enhances that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and lifelong learners. Through independent exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, children will work on early literacy, math, science, and social studies concepts. A healthy dose of running, jumping, and dancing keeps them active too.

Prekindergarten Programs (4 – 5 Years)

Prekindergartners are preparing for the adventure of a lifetime – school. And our Early Foundations Prekindergarten® program is designed to get them ready by teaching letters and words, math concepts, and valuable social skills. With small group instruction, independent play in an organized atmosphere, and whole-group activities, children will have all the right skills to hop, skip, and jump right into kindergarten.

Before- & After-School Programs (5 – 12 Years)

Even after school's out for the day, children need to be engaged in a comfortable, yet stimulating environment. That's where our Catch the Wave® program comes in. This innovative before – and after-school program allows school-age children to balance learning and fun through a variety of experiences. From homework help to fun physical activities, our program is designed so that everyone goes home happy.

Summer Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Don’t miss out on KinderCare’s Summer of Wonder: Six themed programs that will make summer exciting, educational and tons of fun. Whether your child is in our preschool, Pre-K or school-age programs, all of it is designed to help children learn while soaking up the fun. We offer flexible scheduling options to meet the needs of busy families like yours so we hope to see you there.

Participating Child Care Aware Center

KinderCare has partnered with Child Care Aware® of America in an effort to offer fee assistance for Active Duty military families and solutions to their child care needs when care at a Child Development Center on the installation is not available.

Teachers & Staff

At KinderCare Learning Center in Huber Heights, we hire only nurturing people with a passion for Early Childhood Education. Then we build on that enthusiasm by investing in their training and continuing education. The first step, however, is all about loving kids! Our teachers all have a passion for developing the young minds of our areas youth. It's an opportunity for them to share their passion for life while they inspire, engage, and awaken the wonder inside each and every child. Our teachers and staff want to form a strong partnership with you to ensure the best possible experience for your child. We encourage parents and teachers to meet regularly to ensure we are all working together for the benefit of each young learner.

    Ashley Noble, Center Director

If a child cannot learn in the way we teach, we must teach in a way the child can learn.

Even though Ashley has only been with this center a short time she can already say, with complete, honesty that coming to this center was the best decision she could have made.  Everytime a child walks in you can see the genuine excitement on their face.  They are happy to be there and the first thing they do when they walk in the center, and the last thing they do when they leave is run and give a big hug.  There is truly no better feeling than that.

Ashley has been in the management business for going on 8 years now.

  • Sheri Hayes

    Sheri Hayes, Assistant Director

I am currently the Assistant Director of the center. I am very passionate and committed to working with the children. It is a real joy and very rewarding to watch their growth and development on a daily basis. I love that this field allows you to form a bond not only with the children but also with the parents. To see the joy on the children's faces when they walk in the door and the growth of the children when they leave is something that cannot be measured.

Sheri has worked in the childcare/Preschool setting for over 20 years. As the Assistant Director, she loves having the opportunity to watch all the students transform from infants all the way to School Age children. Sheri feels inspired every day by the students, teachers, and parents. The students are eager to learn and the team of teachers are enthusiastic about teaching them. Seeing this interaction makes Sheri excited about working with KinderCare.

Prior to KinderCare Ms. Sheri was a Children's Ministry Leader and Girl Scout Co-Leader.

  • Ms. Michaele

    Ms. Michaele, Discovery Preschool

I love watching the infants go from bottle feeding, to crawling, to running, all of which are monuments when it comes to young children. But I have to say the best feeling is seeing adults in the community that I once taught as infants. Those kids now have kids of their own, but are always quick to come up with a smile and a 'hello'. It's having these relationships that makes this job so worth it.

Ms. Michaele started teaching at KinderCare in 2005. What she loves most about teaching is watching and helping the infants grow. She loves to inspire, nurture, and love the children as they get older, and having that connection with the kids at a young age is what inspires her to come to work every day.

  • Ms. Darla

    Ms. Darla, Infants

I enjoy this field because it is fun and there is always something new to teach. Teaching and learning make a difference for every child you encounter.

Ms. Darla has worked in a number of different childcare centers and in that time she has realized that every encounter you have with a child means something.  For the good or for the bad, it influences that child one way or another.  She tries to take advantage of every opportunity she has with a child to make a positive influence.

Working in a few different childcares, Mr. Darla has worked with children of all ages.

  • Ms. Lyndra

    Ms. Lyndra, Toddlers

I love working with children because they are ready and willing to learn the smallest to largest things. Their minds are taking in everything and it doesn't matter what it is you're teaching them, they want to learn it all!

Ms. Lyndra has been with KinderCare since 2008. When the children start to remember what they have learned and seeing those dots connect for them is what Ms. Lyndra enjoys most about teaching. However, it's the children's beautiful smiles and hugs that inspires her to come to work every day.

    Previous Experience:
Ms. Lyndra started in early childhood working as a lead teacher for HeadStart when it was formally known as MCCA. After enjoying a wonderful experience, she fell in love with working with young children. She decided to make a career in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Lyndra has worked in several accredited quality learning centers and loves what she does!

  • Ms. Amanda

    Ms. Amanda, Discovery Preschool Classroom

Every day I come to work I strive to provide a nurturing and safe environment for the children in my care. Not only is working with the kids important to me, but I also want to provide the parents with a sense of security while they are away.

Ms. Amanda has been with KinderCare since 2014. What she loves most about teaching and what inspires her to come to work are linked hand in hand. She loves the children's responses to learning something new and it inspires her that the kids are able to teach her new things as well. It just goes to show that you're never too old to learn!

    Previous Experience:
Ms. Amanda previously worked at Bright Beginnings Childcare, Northside Christian Childcare and Home Childcare.

  • Ms. Courtney, Preschool

I love seeing the children grow and learn with excitement. They look so excited when something new clicks in their head.

Ms. Kayla has only been with this center a short time, however, her relationship with KinderCare actually started in July.  In that time she realized that what makes her passionate about teaching is being able to be that person who helps a child have an 'ah-ha' moment.  There is no more amazing of a time than when a child finally just gets something and realizes that all of their hard work has paid off.

  • Ms. Pam

    Ms. Pam, Prekindergartin, School Age

I always love working with children. Seeing them grow year after year and seeing the progress they have made by having me for a teacher makes me so happy.

Ms. Pam started teaching at KinderCare in 2008. What she loves most about teaching is seeing the children's excitement when learning about new ideas, and when they apply what they learned to everyday life. Having a child walk in to the classroom and ask "what are we going to learn today?" is what inspires Ms. Pam to come to work each day.

    Previous Experience:
Prior to KinderCare, Ms. Pam worked with an after School Program for ages 5-12. She provided activities and lesson plans for each age group.

Children 6 weeks to 3 years old: Spaces and Places and All About Me
As infants and toddlers explore the spaces and places around them, children in Discovery Preschool will learn all about what makes people the same as well as what makes them different. Infants will experiment with moving toy cars around, build block towers and then knock them down, and even take a tour of the center to see what things are like outside of their classroom! Toddlers will get all revved up as they take a closer look at different vehicles and learn more about neighborhoods, communities, and the jobs that grownups have. In Discovery Preschool, children will be learning about themselves as they play games that strengthen their five senses, discuss feelings and emotions, practice self-help skills, and work on learning the names of body parts.

Children 4 to 5 years old: All About Me and My Home and Family
It’s the beginning of the school year—the perfect time to get to know each other better! Older children will be spending time sharing about themselves, their homes, and their families as they learn what makes people the same and what makes them different. Children will bring their own experiences to the drawing board as they create group stories and 3-D collages about families and homes, pantomime different home- and family-related activities, and draw self-portraits. With our curriculum’s project-related learning component, children in Transitional Kindergarten work together to decide on an individual or whole-group project related to the theme. Past projects have included creating a class book about emotions or working together to build a small-scale home, but who knows—the children may come up with a unique idea that’s entirely their own!

Health and Safety

We want to ensure all of our families have the peace of mind that we provide adequate health and safety precautions.  Ways we try to accomplish this is by having a keypad entry that is only given to the parents attending.  If a guest is visiting the center, we ask they provide sufficient ID to be allowed in the center to visit that child and we also always check in with the family to make sure this is okay.  Every measure we take we take in order to protect the children.

At KinderCare, what families say about us means a lot. Read below some of the great experiences our families have had with us.

Share Your Story
If you have a story about your experience at KinderCare, please share your story with us.

I've had kids in Kindercare for years and have had great pleasure in the services I've received there.  They are always quick to talk to me and my kids whenever we come in or leave.  It's great knowing that I have another family I can trust with my kids.

- Mother

It is such a great feeling to know that our family has found a child care center that is so loving and supportive.  KinderCare has given my children not only excellent care, but also quality education!  I definitely consider KinderCare Bufort our second family.
