Our team is made up of teachers who care about learning. Over 90% of our teachers have degrees in the education field and experience working in classrooms. Together our team has over 80 years of teaching and it is important to all of us that we work hard to make this a great experience for your child and your family.

Dawn has been in the Early Childhood Education field for over fourteen years. She has worked as a lead teacher as well as an Assistant Director at a privately owned center. She also has experience with management in the retail industry.
Prior to joining KinderCare, Dawn worked as an early childhood teacher and Director at a privately owned center.
"Play allows the children to practice and implement what they are learning. My goal as an early childhood educator is to activate their natural desire to learn."
Jenny has been with the company for over four years. She was the Discovery Preschool teacher for 3 years and then became the Assistant Director after completing her Bachelor’s Degree. She enjoys spending time with her two children and crafting.
"While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about."
Ms. Nikki is a teacher in our infant classroom and has been with KinderCare since 2002. She is current attending Rasmussen College to pursue her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. In her free time, Nikki likes spending time outdoors with her two kids.
Prior to joining the Grayslake KinderCare, Ms. Nikki worked was an in-home care provider for three years and 10 years as an Infant teacher for the Mundelein KinderCare.

Kaitlyn has been working at the Grayslake KinderCare for over 3 years and has experience in a variety of classrooms. She is currently working towards her Bachelors in Elementary Education at Southern Illinois University. Kaitlyn loves being the toddler teacher because she is able to see the amazement on their faces when they discover something new. She also enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband.

Ms. Pam has experience with many age groups. Her background in early childhood education has been influential to our center. She has worked as a lead teacher and as an assistant director. She has fun spending time with her daughter and husband.

Kristin has been at our location for 2 years and with the company for over 5. She has 3 teenagers and enjoys scrapbooking and attending sporting events.
"My goal as the Prekindergarten teacher is to give the best possible start for a lifetime of learning, creating an opportunity for all children who are in my care."
Ms. Ana is a teacher in our prekindergarten classroom and has been with KinderCare since 1995. Her educational experience is vast with a total of 39 years in the early childhood education industry; 17 years as prekindergarten teacher, 22 years as kindergarten teacher, as well as sometime as a school Principal. Ms. Ana has her Master's Degree in Elementary Education.
Ms. Ana has a great deal of previous experience - 17 years teaching prekindergarten, 22 years as a kindergarten teacher, and time as a school Principal.
"Children are our future. It is our job to support their growth and development."
Prior to working at KinderCare, Ms. Taylor was was a lifegaurd and taught private swim lessons. She is currently working towards obtaining her Child Development Associates. She likes spending time with her family.

Ms. Bri is so excited about our Learning Adventures program! She loves working and teaching children in a close, one-to-one setting. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Illinois State University. She likes spending time outdoors with her friends and family.
"Children do not care how much you know until they know how much you care."
Ms. Julie has been in the field of child development for over 16 years. She also has experience and schooling in the culinary field. She loves spending time with her two boys and in her free time she enjoys making people happy through food.

Ms. Tamara's background is filled with experience in teaching and caring for children near and far. She has cared fro children in Russia, Indonesia, and China. Tamara enjoys watching children grow by new adventures.
