AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited–nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference, and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY

Our kids are taking off!

By kindergarten, our kids are testing ahead of their peers. Read all about it.

Accreditation

Many of our child care centers are accredited by national organizations that require us to meet rigorous early childhood education standards and guidelines for high-quality care and education. Programs that are accredited have demonstrated their commitment to go beyond the state’s minimum licensing requirements to meet and maintain these high standards of quality.

Monthly Activities

March's Learning Focus

Children 6 weeks to 3 years old: Amazing Animals

Animals really are amazing, and this month the children in the Infant and Toddler Classrooms are learning all about them. We’ll read about both domestic and wild animals and base our activities and play around them as well. Besides singing songs, crafting, and talking about different animals, we’ll also bring in pictures of our pets, make our own animal sounds and movements, and incorporate animals into cognitive, literacy, and mathematic learning appropriate for each age group. For example, the older children in Discovery Preschool will count goldfish crackers or spots on a dog, while the littlest ones will keep developing their senses by sorting and playing with stuffed animals that have different kinds of pretend fur. This is a very sweet and fun unit for children in each class!

Children 4–5 years old: The Sky and Weather + My Imagination

The four- and five-year-olds will turn their attention to the sky and explore the bounds of their own imaginations this month. Children will learn how clouds and different kinds of weather are created, and do fun theme-related activities like create whipped-topping storm clouds or pretend to be a weather reporter. Our Transitional Kindergarten class will take their learning even farther by doing basic research into how rainbows are formed. The second half of the month will give children a big chance to express themselves through art, music, and drama. We’ll use classic stories like The Three Little Pigs to spark children’s creativity and see where their imaginations lead. As always, we weave our themes into literacy and math activities, and place a focus on building both English and Spanish vocabulary.

Come get a sneak peek of summer at KinderCare during our Open House event, from April 10th – 14th.

At KinderCare, our summer adventures are designed for learning and fun. We love taking our experiments outside, having special guests visit our centers, and even exploring our senses on walks outside or by rolling around in the cool grass. We can’t wait to meet you and show you what makes our centers special and why we would love to spend our summer with you!

Our Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks - 1 year)

Babies grow and learn every day. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing "home away from home" where babies can explore and make new discoveries. We know that learning through play is extremely valuable at this age and our Early Foundations® Infant program is designed to give babies the skills that will serve as the building blocks for a lifetime of learning.

Toddler Programs (1 – 2 Years)

As toddlers develop friendships, self-esteem, and curiosity, our Early Foundations® Toddler program will help them explore their world in a safe and nurturing environment. Our unique curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best through experiences. So each day is filled with fun activities that excite and develop toddlers, giving them the comfort and confidence to speak those first few important words, as well as make their first friends.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2 – 3 Years)

At this age, children are making new discoveries daily. And as two-year olds begin to exert their independence, our Early Foundations® Discovery Preschool program is prepared to open their eyes to a world of learning, sharing, and exploring. Our holistic approach in the classroom engages young minds with a blend of music, art, and movement, as well as the early education fundamentals they'll need as they continue on to preschool.

Preschool Programs (3 – 4 Years)

As preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they may feel ready to take on the world. Our Early Foundations® Preschool program enhances that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and lifelong learners. Through independent exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, children will work on early literacy, math, science, and social studies concepts. A healthy dose of running, jumping, and dancing keeps them active too.

Prekindergarten Programs (4 – 5 Years)

Prekindergartners are preparing for the adventure of a lifetime – school. And our Early Foundations Prekindergarten® program is designed to get them ready by teaching letters and words, math concepts, and valuable social skills. With small group instruction, independent play in an organized atmosphere, and whole-group activities, children will have all the right skills to hop, skip, and jump right into kindergarten.

Before- & After-School Programs (5 – 12 Years)

Even after school's out for the day, children need to be engaged in a comfortable, yet stimulating environment. That's where our Catch the Wave® program comes in. This innovative before – and after-school program allows school-age children to balance learning and fun through a variety of experiences. From homework help to fun physical activities, our program is designed so that everyone goes home happy.

Summer Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Don’t miss out on KinderCare’s Summer of Wonder: Six themed programs that will make summer exciting, educational and tons of fun. Whether your child is in our preschool, Pre-K or school-age programs, all of it is designed to help children learn while soaking up the fun. We offer flexible scheduling options to meet the needs of busy families like yours so we hope to see you there.

Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program

Cooking

The Cooking Adventures program gives children opportunities to participate in fun, developmentally appropriate cooking experiences. They will learn about recipes, ingredients, cooking vocabulary, and the importance of a healthy diet. The curriculum includes lessons on picnics, pizza, and heart-healthy meals.

Math

The Math Adventures enrichment program is designed to teach important mathematics concepts such as geometry, numbers, measurement, and probability. Your child will learn about length, height, and weight. He will learn about shapes and solids. He will learn how to add, subtract, multiply, and count money. Math is everywhere and giving your child every advantage now will add up to success later in life.

Music

Ongoing research proves that early exposure to music helps children think, reason, create, and express themselves. Children will laugh and learn about rhythm, vocal melodies, and a variety of musical genres and instruments, which can lower stress and advance memory. Learning never sounded so good.

Phonics & Reading Adventures

Set your child up for advanced success with literacy through phonics, the study of letters and sounds. Reader books, games, and activity cards help your child understand the basics of vowels and blending syllables, giving him confidence and command of language.

Teachers & Staff

Welcome to our center!
We have a dedicated staff who strive to make a difference in your child's life on a daily basis. We can't wait to help your child learn, grow, and explore.

Children 6 weeks to 3 years old: Amazing Animals

Animals really are amazing, and this month the children in the Infant and Toddler Classrooms are learning all about them.

At KinderCare, what families say about us means a lot. Read below some of the great experiences our families have had with us.

Share Your Story
If you have a story about your experience at KinderCare, please share your story with us.

I can't imagine a world without KinderCare because they treat my child like their own!  My daughter is always so happy to go to her school and she just adores her teachers!  I love that they teach them things and do activities with them like crafts and reading books.  We tried private babysitters before and we never have received better care than at KinderCare!  We love y'all and thank you for taking care of my sweet baby!  I can never thank you enough!

- Mother

Coming from a military family, I was happy to see that KinderCare facilities were approved since I was a KinderCare kid myself. I toured the facility and was happy with what I saw. Being a first time mom, I was nervous to have someone else care for my baby. Me’Chelle, the director, recommended that I have a day that I could spend time at the day care before returning back to work. It was THE BEST advice. I got to know Ms. Pam and Ms. Briana and the other little ones in the infant room. I was a crying mess that morning as I kept trying to leave. They were gentle and patient with me. They made me feel so much better when I dropped off my son the next morning and headed off to work. I called for the first three days to check in. After that, I felt no need to due to my confidence in them. One morning, I was almost in tears from my son spitting up and it coming out of both mouth and nose. Ms. Pam was so supportive of me and calmed any fears that I had. The teachers took care of me as much as they took care of my son. The Towne Lake KinderCare is not just a community, but a family. It’s where I want my son to be.

- Mother

KinderCare became apart of our family when our old day care closed in June. The teachers are great with my three children. At KinderCare, my children get the attention and care they deserve. I searched a lot of daycares in the area and KinderCare stood out. Prekindergarten teachers provide loving, safe environments, and knowledge to prepare them for kindergarten. I'm really satisfied with the team that they have. I don't think I will find a better place for my children.

- Parent

I was very nervous about leaving my son for the first time and I was met with nothing less than kindness and compassion.  My son not only did well at school, he flourished and loved it.  He sings new songs, counts by 5, 10, 20 and knows a lot about nocturnal animals.  Ms son and I are both going to greatly miss Ms. Kelly and Ms. Danielle.  They are the most wonderful teachers...  My son's next school will be hard pressed to meet with my now high standards, because of what we have experienced at KinderCare.

- Parent

It has been the best place my son has attended.  Before joining KinderCare, we had taken him to three different places but were not comfortable.  The teachers have been very kind, helpful, attentive and love the children.  Since my son joined the school, he has never lost any item nor has he ever had any bathroom accidents.  He loves KinderCare and talks highly of them.  Since day one, he never shed any tear for being left alone when we drop him.  That shows how loving and caring the staff are.  Keep up the good work and continue to shine!!  The premises are kept clean and I have never smelt "bleach" when I come in.  Other facilities have bad smell of bleach but KinderCare is amazing and organized.

- Parent

Our family has been with KinderCare for two years.  I couldn't imagine going anywhere else.  The staff at KinderCare greets my daughter and I every morning with a smile on their faces.  My daughter loves her teachers, she is so excited to tell me about her day at school when I pick her up.
