Erin has been with the company for eight years. She began as a Discovery Preschool teacher and that is where she discovered her passion for Early Childhood Education. Erin has been a teacher, Assistant Director, and Center Director and is thrilled to be a part of the Lake Cook KinderCare family! Her top priority is to provide each child with a quality education in a safe and loving environment.
Erin has worked with children since she got her first job at the YMCA. Prior to joining the Lake Cook Wheeling center, Erin was a Discovery Preschool teacher, Assistant Director, and Center Director at the Knowledge Beginnings in Glenview.

Amanda started at KinderCare in 2010 as a floating teacher and has worked in each classroom since then. She began in the Toddler classroom in Fall of 2011. In the Fall of 2013, Amanda joined the Wheeling center as a trainee and is now the Assistant Director.
Before starting at the Wheeling center, Amanda was the Toddler teacher at the Buffalo Grove center. She has also helped out a variety of other centers and in many age groups and loves to bring her out of the box thinking to our center!

Ms. Zehra has been working in KinderCare for fifteen years. She received her Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Economics and also has her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Zehra decided to pursue a career in teaching fifteen years ago and has never looked back. Her classroom provides a great foundation by increasing the self-esteem of the children and making them feel valued. She provides activities which reinforce interaction and language development where babies have an opportunity to develop socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually. Ms. Zehra uses a variety of teaching strategies to enhance children's learning and development. The infants love our puppet play books and all of the sensory experiences that we provide for them.
Ms. Zehra has three of my her children and also helped raise her cousins, neices and nephews.
Ms. Marahi decided to pursue a career in teaching because of her passion for helping young children. She cares for each infant that comes into her classroom and builds strong relationships with each parent. Marahi knows that it is not always easy for parents to leave their baby while they go to work and strives each day to ensure that every baby gets the one-on-one attention they deserve.

Ms. Jackie has been a toddler teacher at KinderCare for ten years and loves helping young children learn and grow. She is passionate about the well-being of every child and wants each one of her students to know how special they are! Jackie is currently working on achieving her associates degree for Early Childhood Education to enhance her wealth of knowledge.
Ms. Shawna is orginally from Peoria, IL and has experience working with children from infant through four year olds and knows how to nuture each age group! She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree at National-Louis University where she was also a Resident Assistant for the Pace program. When she is not at work, Shawna enjoys spending time with her son and her fiance. Shawna believes that every child should have the to opporunity learn, grow, and feel loved!
Prior to joining the KinderCare family, Miss Shawna spent four years at a different early childhood center where she was an Infant and Toddler teacher.

Ms. Debbie has been the Discovery Preschool teacher for almost six years. She has her Child Development Associate's Credential and is going back to school to finish her degree. She brings a lot of positive energy and excitement into the Discovery Preschool room. Ms. Debbie also works very closely with parents to make sure each child and family feel like they are an important member of the class.
Prior to joining KinderCare Ms. Debbie worked as a nanny for five years and taught at Gymboree for five years.

Ms. Krissy is an energetic and passionate Prekindergarten teacher. She has worked with the Prekindergarten children for almost six years. She believes each child is a special and exciting part of her class. Ms. Krissy has her Child Development Associate's Credential and is finishing her degree in Education. She loves to make KinderCare a fun and educational place for not only children but families as well. Ms. Krissy strives to have each child and family learn and grow as part of our KinderCare Family.
Prior to joining KinderCare Ms. Krissy worked as a nanny for six years, at the Park District Before and After School Program and spent four years working at Gymboree.

Ms. Shilpa came to the United States from India in March 1988. She started her first job with KinderCare working with the two-year-old children. She worked with them for twelve years. Ms. Shilpa then got the opportunity to teach Kindergarten and School Age children. Her passion for teaching and love of children and their families excite her to come to work every day for the past 25 years. In the classroom, children enjoy our site word beach ball toss. Playing Bingo is a fun way to learn to read and recognize numbers. Reading is so much fun when the children play Musical Reading Chairs!
Ms. Shilpa previously taught Kindergarten in India.
