Many of our child care centers are accredited by national organizations that require us to meet rigorous early childhood education standards and guidelines for high-quality care and education. Programs that are accredited have demonstrated their commitment to go beyond the state’s minimum licensing requirements to meet and maintain these high standards of quality.

Our Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks - 1 year)

Babies grow and learn every day. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing "home away from home" where babies can explore and make new discoveries. We know that learning through play is extremely valuable at this age and our Early Foundations® Infant program is designed to give babies the skills that will serve as the building blocks for a lifetime of learning.

Toddler Programs (1 – 2 Years)

As toddlers develop friendships, self-esteem, and curiosity, our Early Foundations® Toddler program will help them explore their world in a safe and nurturing environment. Our unique curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best through experiences. So each day is filled with fun activities that excite and develop toddlers, giving them the comfort and confidence to speak those first few important words, as well as make their first friends.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2 – 3 Years)

At this age, children are making new discoveries daily. And as two-year olds begin to exert their independence, our Early Foundations® Discovery Preschool program is prepared to open their eyes to a world of learning, sharing, and exploring. Our holistic approach in the classroom engages young minds with a blend of music, art, and movement, as well as the early education fundamentals they'll need as they continue on to preschool.

Preschool Programs (3 – 4 Years)

As preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they may feel ready to take on the world. Our Early Foundations® Preschool program enhances that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and lifelong learners. Through independent exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, children will work on early literacy, math, science, and social studies concepts. A healthy dose of running, jumping, and dancing keeps them active too.

Prekindergarten Programs (4 – 5 Years)

Prekindergartners are preparing for the adventure of a lifetime – school. And our Early Foundations Prekindergarten® program is designed to get them ready by teaching letters and words, math concepts, and valuable social skills. With small group instruction, independent play in an organized atmosphere, and whole-group activities, children will have all the right skills to hop, skip, and jump right into kindergarten.

Before- & After-School Programs (5 – 12 Years)

Even after school's out for the day, children need to be engaged in a comfortable, yet stimulating environment. That's where our Catch the Wave® program comes in. This innovative before – and after-school program allows school-age children to balance learning and fun through a variety of experiences. From homework help to fun physical activities, our program is designed so that everyone goes home happy.

Summer Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Don’t miss out on KinderCare’s Summer of Wonder: Six themed programs that will make summer exciting, educational and tons of fun. Whether your child is in our preschool, Pre-K or school-age programs, all of it is designed to help children learn while soaking up the fun. We offer flexible scheduling options to meet the needs of busy families like yours so we hope to see you there.

Participating Child Care Aware Center

KinderCare has partnered with Child Care Aware® of America in an effort to offer fee assistance for Active Duty military families and solutions to their child care needs when care at a Child Development Center on the installation is not available.

Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program

The Cooking Adventures program gives children opportunities to participate in fun, developmentally appropriate cooking experiences. They will learn about recipes, ingredients, cooking vocabulary, and the importance of a healthy diet. The curriculum includes lessons on picnics, pizza, and heart-healthy meals.

The Math Adventures enrichment program is designed to teach important mathematics concepts such as geometry, numbers, measurement, and probability. Your child will learn about length, height, and weight. He will learn about shapes and solids. He will learn how to add, subtract, multiply, and count money. Math is everywhere and giving your child every advantage now will add up to success later in life.

Ongoing research proves that early exposure to music helps children think, reason, create, and express themselves. Children will laugh and learn about rhythm, vocal melodies, and a variety of musical genres and instruments, which can lower stress and advance memory. Learning never sounded so good.

Phonics & Reading Adventures

Set your child up for advanced success with literacy through phonics, the study of letters and sounds. Reader books, games, and activity cards help your child understand the basics of vowels and blending syllables, giving him confidence and command of language.

Spanish Adventures provides young learners with a foundation for later success with the Spanish language. Music, games, children's Spanish literature, and other tools give children multiple opportunities to hear, practice, and see Spanish language for vocabulary and conversational development. Curriculum includes lessons on greetings, numbers, colors, animals, family, body parts and pets as well as how to get engage conversationally during common scenarios at home, a restaurant, or at the zoo. 1. January's Learning Focus

Children 6 weeks to 3 years old: Light and Dark, plus the Sky and Weather

Through shadow play, experiments with flashlights, observing the Sun and more, infants and toddlers will enjoy learning about light and dark this month. Infants continue sensory development by looking at contrasting patterns and at objects that are clearly defined by sharp edges and bright colors, while toddlers will build on their understanding of the light and dark concepts with play around daytime and nighttime. The older Discovery Preschool children will turn their attention to the sky as they learn about weather, the Moon, the Sun, and stars.

Children 4–5 years old: Transportation, Healthy Bodies, and Winter

For children in the Preschool and Kindergarten classrooms, January is filled with variety! They’ll begin by learning about transportation and studying how things get from “here” to “there.” A few weeks later, the focus will shift to health and bodies, with an emphasis placed on how to make good choices for a growing body. Towards the end of the month, children will be introduced to the transformative nature of the winter season and learn how to dress and take care of themselves when it’s cold outside.

    1. December's Learning Focus

Children 6 weeks to 3 years old: Family, Friends, and Things that Go!

Infants and toddlers will be exploring family and friends, while three-year-olds will focus on things that go vroom! Social and emotional development is foundational to growth and development in babies, so this month, infants and toddlers will participate in activities that reinforce their connection to family while also exploring connections that exist outside their home, such as friends. Meanwhile, their older friends in Discovery Preschool will learn about and play around with things that move (like bicycles, cars, buses, trains, and airplanes), which are all very exciting for little ones as they continue to explore the world outside their homes.

Children 4–5 years old: My Country + Tools and Machines

The four- and five-year-olds continue exploring the world around them by learning about the state and country they live in! They’ll sings songs, play games based on travel, and learn about flags, state foods, and more. Children will also be introduced to cardinal directions (east, west, north, and south) and gain an appreciation for travel and meeting new friends from different places.

Children are naturally fascinated with machines and how things work and are put together. So to encourage that fascination, during the second half of this month children will learn about and play around with tools and machines. In addition to building literacy skills by using the names of machines and tools, children will develop math skills by graphing information, counting wheels, and more.

If you have a story about your experience at KinderCare, please share your story with us.

I’m so glad I made the switch to KinderCare. Our children are what make up our world. Their happiness, growth and learning are what’s most important to me. I’m a full time working mother of 4 children. My 2 younger children ages 7 & 5 have been with KinderCare for 2 years now. My 2 older children, now 18 and 19 were KinderCare kids too. The childcare facility my younger children were at previously did not have the structure, learning programs, and teacher training that KinderCare has and maintains. Now that they go to KinderCare, when I take my children to school in the morning they don’t cry or get upset when I walk them in. They’re happy and excited for what they’ll get to do and experience that day. When I pick them up they’re playing or creating something fun. I sometimes have to remind them that we have to go home, because they just want to stay and play. I’m so glad my younger children now go to KinderCare and I wish I would’ve found the facility sooner.

- Mother

We feel so comfortable leaving our kids at KinderCare. The directors & teachers genuinely care about our family & our kids well-being. Our son has attended KinderCare for four years & he loves it. He is well-prepared for Kindergarten and writes as well as any four year old largely due to his "schooling" at KinderCare.

- Mother

My son has been going to Kindercare since he began daycare and I have every intention of keeping him there as long as he needs it.  The staff is amazing and loves every child.  My son has made so many friends with the kids in his classes as well as the care givers.  He looks forward to school every day.  It is not just his one teacher who knows him.  Every employee works and does their part to make Kindercare a great place for all the children.  They know every child and every parent and they make it a point to be available for anything.  The facility is clean, safe, structured, and a fun learning environment.  It is a pleasure to share his experiences, his triumphs, his discoveries, and his imagination with the family at Kindercare.  We absolutely love them!

- Mother

About 5 years ago, my wife and I began our search for a 'quality' daycare that would take care of our son, and also help us to teach him and prepare him for school. We went to and interviewed just about every daycare in our area and even tried one for a few months, and soon learned that what we were looking for was going to be hard to find. Then, we decided to try KinderCare. It takes a lot of effort to run a high quality daycare that provides the educational program that KinderCare offers, but they do it and they do it better than any Daycare I've ever seen and all while keeping a very clean and organized facility. And believe me, I've seen a lot of daycares. We now have 2 boys (3 and 6) and they absolutely LOVE going to KinderCare, almost as much as we love them being there. All of the staff are top notch at what they do, and what they do is care for our children like they were their own. We have been with KinderCare for over 4 years now and will NEVER go anywhere else. I believe any working parent can agree that it is VITALLY important to find not just any daycare, but a good quality daycare that can ensure that our children are not only 'watched' during the day while we are at work, but that provides a teaching environment that will help prepare our children for school as well as teach them social skills and allow them the opportunity to have fun while doing so.

- Father

Hi, my name is Stefni and let me just say that I am extremely hard to please, especially when it comes to doing what I feel is right for my daughter. When I started looking for a daycare provider, my daughter was 2 years old. Until this time, she had spent her days with family members because I felt that it was a safer environment for her. When I found out that this was no longer going to be an option, I was adamant about finding a place where I would be able to go to work and know, without a shadow of doubt, that my daughter would be not only looked after, but would experience new things, interact appropriately with children and adults, and learn about herself. I knew that these individuals would be spending a great deal of time with her and they needed to be FABULOUS and trustworthy. I visited 7 day cares within the area in which I lived and I was discouraged, sometimes disgusted, and frustrated with 6 of my choices. There was only 1 location that I was more than impressed with and had a fantastic feeling about, and that was the West Jordan KinderCare, unfortunately, they were not able to take on any additional children at that time. I was left with the only thing that I felt was an option, drive 15 – 20 minutes out of my way each day (one way might I add), so that my daughter could go to KinderCare in a different city. It was the only option that I could see that would allow me to go to work each day and not be concerned about her. Fortunately, this became unnecessary because a position became available at the last minute at the West Jordan location and I have never regretted my choice to take my daughter there. She not only learned and experienced everything that I had hoped for – interacting with others, being safe and taken care of – physically, intellectually & emotionally, she learned about age appropriate subjects, etc., she excelled when she went to elementary, her reading level has been at least 2 grades ahead of the curriculum, she learned social skills, created friendships, found interests that she may never have been introduced to if KinderCare had not introduced her to them and she learned about herself that continue to benefit her and intrigue her still today. The Directors and Teachers have consistently been willing to listen to any of my concerns and have supported me as a customer and as a parent I would trust them with any aspect of my daughters well being and her personal development. I will be forever grateful to them on every level. I believe that my daughter’s love of learning, exploring, friendship and a portion of her adorable personality is because of her experiences at KinderCare.

- Mother

I wanted to take a minute to tell you how great I think your KinderCare facility is. You, your staff, and the center itself have all proven to be instrumental in providing my three-year-old son (Brandon) with the kind of environment that he needs in order to thrive. Your center is much more than just a daycare or a school. You have been able to develop and refine a system that meets children's needs on many levels. You provide structure, but are able to keep things fun. Your theme-based lessons are well thought out and I appreciate how you communicate what material is being covered in class so we can provide additional reinforcement at home. I have also been very impressed with all of the fun activities that you coordinate for our kids. So, to you and all of your staff, thanks for all the great work!
