With over 100 years of educational training and experience, our teaching staff takes pride in educating young children. The teaching staff at the Roselle-Lake KinderCare loves sharing their love of books, art, and nature with their students. They also love learning from their students! The wonder in each child's eyes and smiles on their faces as they develop new skills bring joy to the hearts of the teachers as they go through their day!
Jacqueline Mims, Center Director
Jacqueline has been a part of the Roselle-Lake KinderCare team since 1985, where she started as the Kindergarten teacher. She was promoted to Assistant School Director and shortly thereafter, to School Director. Her school is always filled with laughter, love and the pursuit of knowledge by both her students and herself. Jacqueline is very proud of the way she has bonded with her students and their families, forming a trust and collaborative relationship to help the students learn and grow. Jacqueline continues to work in collaboration with the school's teaching team to help build a strong foundation for each of the students who attend. Jacqueline's goal is to create a strong educational environment for all the students to attend her school. By partnering with and leading the school's family and teachers, the school's focus is the children and the impact made on all aspects of their learning. Jacqueline, along with the school's teachers, will always strive to do the best for every child.
Prior to joining KinderCare Jackie spent two years as a Kindergarten teacher in Louisiana.
AngieHolovina, Acting Assistant Director, Preschool Classroom
Along with serving as the Acting Assistant Director,Angie is also the lead teacher in the Preschool classroom. She loves helping the children to learn from each and every new experience that comes their way. Knowing that she makes a difference in a child's life is what inspires Angie to come to work each day.
Before joining the KinderCare family, Angie worked as a nanny, and in a school district working with at-risk and special needs preschool children.

Ms. Bozena, Infant Classroom
Prior to joining KinderCare Ms. Bozena worked as an assistant teacher in various facilities.
"I love to work with the children. To see how they learn and grow is amazing! I like to be a part of their explorations of new things each and every day!"

Ms. Nikki, Infant Classroom
Ms. Nikki believes that it is a true joy seeing the smiles and hearing the cooing from an Infant when she enters the classroom. She prides herself in knowing that she is an extremely important part of a child's development. Ms. Nikki prides herself in the warm, home-like environment she provides to the children in her classroom! In her spare time, Ms. Nikki loves spending time with her children and family and learning new dances!

Ms. Candace, Toddler Classroom
Ms. Candace is a very hands-on teacher. She enjoys teaching her students and watching them grow each day. While in college, she was a Sociology major, and that is when she discovered her love for Early Childhood Education! Ms. Candace incorporates music into her classroom curriculum on a daily basis. Ms. Candace is also our school's ABC Music and Me teacher, as well as our Cooking Adventures teacher! Fun is had by all who enter her class because Ms. Candace feels that fun is an integral part of learning!
Prior to joining KinderCare Ms. Candace did some babysitting as well as some volunteer work at one of our schools.

Ms. Fran, Discovery Preschool Classroom
Ms. Fran has been with KinderCare since 2007 and is working towards her Child Development Associate's Credential and is having a great time learning new things and implementing them in her classroom. Ms. Fran is a proud mother of three grown children and a grandmother to two beautiful granddaughters! She was an extremely active member of the PTA, Girl Scouts and sports when her children were growing up. She enjoys teaching, but also enjoys learning something new with the children every day.
Prior to coming to KinderCare Ms. Fran was a stay-at-home mom and she raised her three children.

Ms. Rubina, Discovery Preschool Classroom
Ms. Rubina was born and raised in Pakistan and came to the United States in 1987. After attending college in Pakistan, Ms. Rubina began her journey with the KinderCare family. In 2003, she obtained her Child Development Associate's Credential. Ms. Rubina loves being around the children and really enjoys working with them each day. She wholeheartedly believes that the first few years of a child's life are vital and she plays a very important role in their development. Her goal is to provide the children with positive guidance in every learning area and she is so proud to be a part of the earliest stages of their education!

Ms. Kim, Prekindergarten Classroom
Ms. Kim has been at the Roselle-Lake KinderCare since October of 2001! She proudly holds a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Studies from Northern Illinois University and is certified to teach children through third grade. Throughout her time at the Roselle-Lake KinderCare, Ms. Kim has worked in our Prekindergarten and Kindergarten classrooms. Ms. Kim is a very hands-on teacher and she loves preparing her students for Kindergarten!
Ms. Kim has previous experience working as a Kindergarten aide.
Ms. Jaleen, Private Kindergarten Classroom
Ms. Jaleen has been a part of the KinderCare family since August, 2010. She has really realized her passion for teaching since beginning her journey here and it has changed her life completely. Ms. Jaleen has obtained a Child Development Associate's Credential and is currently enrolled in college working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. She is looking forward to improving her skills as an educator and better serve the students and families on a daily basis. Her classroom is student-centered and that enables the students to learn at their highest potential. Ms. Jaleen also makes appropriate accommodations in the classroom to benefit all types of learning styles and development stages.

Ms. Dena, School Age Classroom
Ms. Dena has been a part of the KinderCare family for over 25 years! She knew at an early age that children were her passion. In her classroom she finds creative ways to have her students involved in the planning of activities. She feels that it is important for School Age children to feel like they have had a part in choosing the activities that they do after school and during their Winter Break, Spring Break and Summer Camp! When Ms. Dena isn't teaching, she enjoys reading and loves to travel!
Before coming to KinderCare, Ms. Dena worked at two other child care centers and as a youth leader.
