Welcome

Our experts designed our classrooms -- and every activity and lesson -- to help prepare your child for success in school and beyond. With designated learning centers such as dramatic play, art, blocks and sensory in every classroom, children have the opportunity for child-initiated discovery and social play. You will also find that our classrooms feature a print-rich environment full of carefully selected materials, written charts and labels, and children's literature. By helping your child connect spoken words and print, we are helping develop early literacy and writing skills. We believe in developing the whole child with an emphasis on assisting your child's growth with their social, emotional, cognitive and physical development. Whether your child has first words or first grade on the horizon, we are excited to show you how everything in our center is designed for learning! We approach our programs hoping to make this a great "first school" experience for your child to set them up for success in life!

AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited–nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference, and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY

Our kids are taking off!

By kindergarten, our kids are testing ahead of their peers. Read all about it.

Accreditation

Many of our child care centers are accredited by national organizations that require us to meet rigorous early childhood education standards and guidelines for high-quality care and education. Programs that are accredited have demonstrated their commitment to go beyond the state’s minimum licensing requirements to meet and maintain these high standards of quality.

Monthly Activities

May's Learning Focus

Children 6 weeks to 3 years old: Colors and Shapes

Spring fills nature with vibrant colors and interesting shapes, making this the perfect month for the infants, toddlers, and children in Discovery Preschool to explore these concepts. Infants will have a blast as they smash paint in plastic bags and explore blocks with different shapes, while toddlers will practice identifying and sorting different shapes and colors before making their own color-and-shape books! Meanwhile, the children in Discovery Preschool will create rainbow artwork and continue to practice sorting, counting, and matching shapes and colors.

Children 4–5 years old: Insects and Spiders + Water

Some children might find insects and spiders a bit frightening, but this month they’ll discover how cool these tiny critters really are. Children will find out how insects create food for plants, how bees makes honey, why spiders spin webs, and more. After that, children will dive into the world of water! Preschoolers will learn about how water can take three forms (solid, liquid, and gas), children in Pre-K will learn about the importance of keeping water clean and explore the different ways people use water, and our kindergarteners will learn about different water sources and why water conservation is so important.

Our Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks - 1 year)

Babies grow and learn every day. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing "home away from home" where babies can explore and make new discoveries. We know that learning through play is extremely valuable at this age and our Early Foundations® Infant program is designed to give babies the skills that will serve as the building blocks for a lifetime of learning.

Toddler Programs (1 – 2 Years)

As toddlers develop friendships, self-esteem, and curiosity, our Early Foundations® Toddler program will help them explore their world in a safe and nurturing environment. Our unique curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best through experiences. So each day is filled with fun activities that excite and develop toddlers, giving them the comfort and confidence to speak those first few important words, as well as make their first friends.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2 – 3 Years)

At this age, children are making new discoveries daily. And as two-year olds begin to exert their independence, our Early Foundations® Discovery Preschool program is prepared to open their eyes to a world of learning, sharing, and exploring. Our holistic approach in the classroom engages young minds with a blend of music, art, and movement, as well as the early education fundamentals they'll need as they continue on to preschool.

Preschool Programs (3 – 4 Years)

As preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they may feel ready to take on the world. Our Early Foundations® Preschool program enhances that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and lifelong learners. Through independent exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, children will work on early literacy, math, science, and social studies concepts. A healthy dose of running, jumping, and dancing keeps them active too.

Prekindergarten Programs (4 – 5 Years)

Prekindergartners are preparing for the adventure of a lifetime – school. And our Early Foundations Prekindergarten® program is designed to get them ready by teaching letters and words, math concepts, and valuable social skills. With small group instruction, independent play in an organized atmosphere, and whole-group activities, children will have all the right skills to hop, skip, and jump right into kindergarten.

Private Kindergarten Programs (5 – 6 Years)

As children reach school age, our comprehensive full-day kindergarten program helps them explore, communicate, and create – all in a nurturing, small-class setting. Our team of expert educators has created a unique curriculum of reading, language, arts, math, science, and physical fitness that’s presented in a fun way to encourage a lifelong love of learning. Plus, our program is aligned with local and state elementary school standards, so children will be prepared to confidently enter first grade.

Before- & After-School Programs (5 – 12 Years)

Even after school's out for the day, children need to be engaged in a comfortable, yet stimulating environment. That's where our Catch the Wave® program comes in. This innovative before – and after-school program allows school-age children to balance learning and fun through a variety of experiences. From homework help to fun physical activities, our program is designed so that everyone goes home happy.

Summer Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Don’t miss out on KinderCare’s Summer of Wonder: Six themed programs that will make summer exciting, educational and tons of fun. Whether your child is in our preschool, Pre-K or school-age programs, all of it is designed to help children learn while soaking up the fun. We offer flexible scheduling options to meet the needs of busy families like yours so we hope to see you there.

Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program

Cooking

The Cooking Adventures program gives children opportunities to participate in fun, developmentally appropriate cooking experiences. They will learn about recipes, ingredients, cooking vocabulary, and the importance of a healthy diet. The curriculum includes lessons on picnics, pizza, and heart-healthy meals.

Math

The Math Adventures enrichment program is designed to teach important mathematics concepts such as geometry, numbers, measurement, and probability. Your child will learn about length, height, and weight. He will learn about shapes and solids. He will learn how to add, subtract, multiply, and count money. Math is everywhere and giving your child every advantage now will add up to success later in life.

Music

Ongoing research proves that early exposure to music helps children think, reason, create, and express themselves. Children will laugh and learn about rhythm, vocal melodies, and a variety of musical genres and instruments, which can lower stress and advance memory. Learning never sounded so good.

Phonics & Reading Adventures

Set your child up for advanced success with literacy through phonics, the study of letters and sounds. Reader books, games, and activity cards help your child understand the basics of vowels and blending syllables, giving him confidence and command of language.

Spanish

Spanish Adventures provides young learners with a foundation for later success with the Spanish language. Music, games, children's Spanish literature, and other tools give children multiple opportunities to hear, practice, and see Spanish language for vocabulary and conversational development. Curriculum includes lessons on greetings, numbers, colors, animals, family, body parts and pets as well as how to get engage conversationally during common scenarios at home, a restaurant, or at the zoo. Health and Safety

The health and safety of our students and staff is our main priority here at KinderCare. In order to ensure that this is a safe place and a secure environment, we have a number of safeguards in place. We secure the building with a coded alarm system, the code to which is only given to our staff and families. We update the code at least every six months so that families that no longer attend or staff that no longer works here do not have access to our building. Visitors to our center must ring a doorbell and be greeted by a staff member in order to enter the building. Our entire staff (with the exceptions of new hires) is certified in CPR and First Aid and at least one medication certified staff member is in the building at all times. We do daily exterior checks for safety hazards, monthly whole center checks and monthly safety training/discussions to ensure that our building is a safe place for our students and staff.

At KinderCare, what families say about us means a lot. Read below some of the great experiences our families have had with us.

If you have a story about your experience at KinderCare, please share your story with us.

When it comes to school my daughter Sophia has been so excited and loves to see her friends and be in Mr. Peter's class. Sophia reminds me that she needs to be at school by 930 so that she is on time for Circle time. Sophia loves to tell me the days of the week, the month and what year it is! She has such a wonderful connection with Mr. Peter that is evident when he greets us at drop off time in the morning. As her mom, to see my daughter coming into her own, and so happy, it makes me feel great and most of all comfortable. I can't speak highly enough about KinderCare. I have to say thank you to Amy for accommodating Sophia and myself and for being so kind. It is refreshing to see smiling faces in the morning or when your picking up your child. I was also given flash cards by Mr. Peter. He made it clear that it is not suppose to be an assignment that puts pressure on the child but it is good to learn and go through the words. Well, my daughter took it and ran with it!! There were 5 words, 1 word on each card. She is able to say the word and put them into sentences. I love seeing her learn and I thought it was a great idea. Every day Sophia lets me know when it's "homework" time! I just wanted to let you know how your facility is a great fit for my daughter. Thank you again!

- Mother

My husband and I couldn't be happier with the experience we have had with our son over the past year at KinderCare. As working parents, this center made the transition for me back to work after just a few weeks very smooth and comforting, knowing he was in good hands. Every day since, we drop off our son and he is super excited to see his friends in their classroom and recently the activity room! The daily feedback and constant communication between the teachers and parents have given us the ease and comfort to never have to worry about him while we are working and know he is in a place that is educating him both socially and mentally. The center is constantly changing things up and doing special events and programs that make each day unique and special. They always remember milestones and birthdays and send home keepsake artwork pieces that we will treasure forever. We feel truly lucky to have found such an amazing place to bring our child and feel 100% comfortable each day we drop him off and when we see his smiling face when we pick him up. Thank you so much to the fantastic & talented infant teachers for all your hard work & everything you do for our families.

- Mother

Any time I have come to Ms. Amy Ms. Candace with a concern, they immediately take action. It's comforting knowing that they really listen and react to feedback.

- Mother

It's never easy to drop your baby off at daycare for the first time, but leaving our daughter with the caring and devoted staff at KinderCare made this transition so much easier. Now looking back we can't believe it's been almost two years since we dropped her off for the first time and how much she has grown since then because of the love, caring and support of all her teachers.

- Parents

Our three-year-old was sad at her former preschool. We switched to Monroe KinderCare and worried that the transition would be tough, but we needn’t have worried. Our girl has loved KinderCare from the first day. They treat her with respect, and give her autonomy, guidance, and both creative and energy outlets suitable for her age. Our whole family is happier now.

- Mother

KinderCare is an amazing place for kids. The team here is very friendly and they always make sure that the kids are happy and comfortable. At the same time, the kids excel academically. My 18-month-old has been going here for the past three months and he can sing nursery rhymes, sing his ABC song, identify all the animals and their sounds, all parts of the body and many more. I have noticed a tremendous change in his vocabulary. He is always looking forward to go to the daycare, which is the best part. I used to call to check on him three times a day in his previous daycare but here, I don't even bother checking on him because I know he is in the best hands. Ms. Amy, the center director, and Ms. Candace, the assistant center director, are two wonderful ladies. They have always accommodated our needs. A special thanks goes to my son's teacher Ms. Veronica for taking such a good care of him. If I can give more than five stars to this place, I'd gladly do it!

- Mother

I wanted to thank you and the staff at Kinder Care for being so wonderful to Ronald. Even though he was there only one day a week, I truly feel he benefited from his experience. He was always excited to go to school his one day and I feel he enjoyed being around everyone at KinderCare.

- Mother

I love that my son Ben goes to KinderCare. It is a place where you feel safe dropping your child off. The staff is great with the kids and extremely professional. I would recommend KinderCare to anyone.
