We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited–nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference, and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

Our kids are taking off!

By kindergarten, our kids are testing ahead of their peers. Read all about it.

Many of our child care centers are accredited by national organizations that require us to meet rigorous early childhood education standards and guidelines for high-quality care and education. Programs that are accredited have demonstrated their commitment to go beyond the state’s minimum licensing requirements to meet and maintain these high standards of quality.

Our Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks - 1 year)

Babies grow and learn every day. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing "home away from home" where babies can explore and make new discoveries. We know that learning through play is extremely valuable at this age and our Early Foundations® Infant program is designed to give babies the skills that will serve as the building blocks for a lifetime of learning.

Toddler Programs (1 – 2 Years)

As toddlers develop friendships, self-esteem, and curiosity, our Early Foundations® Toddler program will help them explore their world in a safe and nurturing environment. Our unique curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best through experiences. So each day is filled with fun activities that excite and develop toddlers, giving them the comfort and confidence to speak those first few important words, as well as make their first friends.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2 – 3 Years)

At this age, children are making new discoveries daily. And as two-year olds begin to exert their independence, our Early Foundations® Discovery Preschool program is prepared to open their eyes to a world of learning, sharing, and exploring. Our holistic approach in the classroom engages young minds with a blend of music, art, and movement, as well as the early education fundamentals they'll need as they continue on to preschool.

Preschool Programs (3 – 4 Years)

As preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they may feel ready to take on the world. Our Early Foundations® Preschool program enhances that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and lifelong learners. Through independent exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, children will work on early literacy, math, science, and social studies concepts. A healthy dose of running, jumping, and dancing keeps them active too.

Prekindergarten Programs (4 – 5 Years)

Prekindergartners are preparing for the adventure of a lifetime – school. And our Early Foundations Prekindergarten® program is designed to get them ready by teaching letters and words, math concepts, and valuable social skills. With small group instruction, independent play in an organized atmosphere, and whole-group activities, children will have all the right skills to hop, skip, and jump right into kindergarten.

Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program

The Cooking Adventures program gives children opportunities to participate in fun, developmentally appropriate cooking experiences. They will learn about recipes, ingredients, cooking vocabulary, and the importance of a healthy diet. The curriculum includes lessons on picnics, pizza, and heart-healthy meals.

Ongoing research proves that early exposure to music helps children think, reason, create, and express themselves. Children will laugh and learn about rhythm, vocal melodies, and a variety of musical genres and instruments, which can lower stress and advance memory. Learning never sounded so good.

Phonics & Reading Adventures

Set your child up for advanced success with literacy through phonics, the study of letters and sounds. Reader books, games, and activity cards help your child understand the basics of vowels and blending syllables, giving him confidence and command of language.

Teachers & Staff

Our staff members are very caring and loving individuals. They come to work to make a difference in a child's life. The staff also wants the children to learn and be prepared to move on to accomplish all of their goals in life.

September's Learning Focus

Children 6 weeks to 3 years old: Spaces and Places and All About Me
As infants and toddlers explore the spaces and places around them, children in Discovery Preschool will learn all about what makes people the same as well as what makes them different. Infants will experiment with moving toy cars around, build block towers and then knock them down, and even take a tour of the center to see what things are like outside of their classroom! Toddlers will get all revved up as they take a closer look at different vehicles and learn more about neighborhoods, communities, and the jobs that grownups have. In Discovery Preschool, children will be learning about themselves as they play games that strengthen their five senses, discuss feelings and emotions, practice self-help skills, and work on learning the names of body parts.

Children 4 to 5 years old: All About Me and My Home and Family
It’s the beginning of the school year—the perfect time to get to know each other better! Older children will be spending time sharing about themselves, their homes, and their families as they learn what makes people the same and what makes them different. Children will bring their own experiences to the drawing board as they create group stories and 3-D collages about families and homes, pantomime different home- and family-related activities, and draw self-portraits. With our curriculum’s project-related learning component, children in Transitional Kindergarten work together to decide on an individual or whole-group project related to the theme. Past projects have included creating a class book about emotions or working together to build a small-scale home, but who knows—the children may come up with a unique idea that’s entirely their own!

Share Your Story
If you have a story about your experience at KinderCare, please share your story with us.

I was originally very skeptical of putting my kids in a day care after all the horror stories I've heard, but my pediatrician said it would be best for my kids so we reluctantly began looking into different centers. On a whim, my mom stopped in and really liked the center but I still had my reservations. After a few days of unrelentless sales pitches from my mom, I gave in and went in for a tour. This is when I met Nikki and Sarah who run the center. They made me feel so comfortable that I knew that my children would be safe.

What I didn't know at that time is how amazing the teachers are. My children have thrived. Mrs. Emily, Ms. Zoey and Mrs. Cheryl prepared my five-year-old for kindergarten beyond even his teacher's expectations. It was the best decision that I've made for him. He was prepared for what was expected of him and what behavior is expected of him in an environment that I knew they cared about his well being and growth. It was so successful that my 2-year-old is now a student and they have helped him come out of his shell and work on his talking. Again, the teachers are amazing. Mrs. D and Ms. Casey have helped him grow so much in just a short time. They have truly been a blessing to our family.

If you can find an opening at this center don't hesitate! It will be the best investment in your child's future; preparing them for the next steps in their young lives. Sarah and Nikki, who run this center truly care about what is best for your child and make sure everyone has what is needed to be successful. I can't say enough good things about this school.

- Father

The staff treat each of their children as their own. I was always impressed with how caring and attentive all of the staff were to each individual child's needs and personal development.
This was my two and a half year old's first daycare experience, and I couldn't have asked for a more positive experience. Her transition into the three days a week program was a smooth one. She looked forward to seeing her friends and teachers every day on the way to school and it warmed my heart. Seeing her excitement to learn, play, and grow at KinderCare on Newburg Road only further solidified my decision to send her there and put me at ease knowing how well she was being cared for.
I highly recommend KinderCare to any prospective parents and children!

- Legal Guardian

My son, Zach recently started with the KinderCare Newburg center in November 2014.  As a first time mother, I was initially very nervous at the thought of leaving my son with “strangers”.  Even though I knew these were qualified individuals, the thought of letting someone else feed him, hold him, change him, play with him, etc was truly overwhelming.  In my short time with the KinderCare Newburg center, I was extremely pleased with the quality of care that my family received.  In December 2014, we were fortunate enough to earn a spot at the daycare operated by my husband’s employer, which will prove to be a slightly less expensive and more convenient option for my family.  Although I am excited for the opportunity to improve our situation, I am sad to leave the Newburg KinderCare facility as your administrative staff and teachers have provided me with the perfect example of what a daycare facility should provide: care, concern, support and empathy.  From the minute we started with KinderCare, we were offered the best level of service I could’ve possibly imagined.
On my first day with the center, I was introduced to Zach’s teachers, Ms. Erin and Ms. Brenna.  They were very eager to learn his routine, his personality and what I wanted to get out of the daycare experience.  Each day when I picked him up, he was smiling and happy and I was told by various staff what a great baby he was and how much they enjoyed him.  I could see that Ms. Brenna and Ms. Erin had already formed a bond with him, which meant so much to me and proved invaluable in my transition back to working full time.  I am truly impressed by the maturity and professionalism of both Erin and Brenna.
Admittedly, I had a tough time leaving him on that first day and tears were definitely involved in the process.  Sarah Hyatt said something that was unbelievably comforting, “if you were home right now, what would Zach be doing?”.  In that moment, I knew that she was willing to do whatever it took to make me happy and pleased with my son’s experience.  She was willing to ensure that my son would be cared for just as he was at home.  What else could I ask for? Sarah may not have known it at the time, but with that one simple question she won me over as both a person and a customer.  I would recommend absolutely anyone to the Newburg KinderCare facility, with complete confidence that their child would be provided with the best of care.
Nikki was also very comforting during our entire time at KinderCare.  She initially toured me around their center and “sold” me on sending my son to their facility.  Nikki’s eagerness to please in whatever way possible is what makes her such an invaluable asset to your KinderCare team.  I don’t believe she knows the word “No” and in fact, anytime I spoke with her she was more than willing to not only say “Yes”, but to go above and beyond what I asked.  I am so pleased to have had the opportunity to get to know her.
On several occasions I witnessed both Nikki and Sarah pitching in (changing diapers, feeding and playing with kids, assisting with naps, etc).  It is refreshing to see that your leadership team is willing to do whatever it takes to make the center successful, and in turn please their teachers, their students, and their customers.
In conclusion, I would like to thank everyone at the Newburg KinderCare center who cared for my son in the short time we were there.  You truly are a fantastic group of caretakers!

- Mother

My husband and I were relieved to enroll our 14-month-old daughter Cameron at KinderCare Newburg. Several factors came in to play in our decision: the professionalism of the staff, the safety precautions taken by of the franchise, the location, the curricular nature, cleanliness, and the care taken by Ms. Nikki to orient us to the entire program as opposed to our immediate need. Thank you Ms. Nikki for understanding that this was a tough decision/transition for our family.
When Cameron turned two we enrolled her in ABC Music and Me with Ms. Catherine where children experienced expressive movement and singing. Then she moved up to Kelsey's Music Adventures where reading notes and keyboarding were introduced.
At the age of three we enrolled her in Phonics and Reading Adventures with Ms. Emily and Ms. Ronisha.  These teachers made phonics and reading fun! Cameron can write each letter, recognize the written letter and each sound as well as provide sounds for each letter.
We added Science Adventures to Cameron's curriculum with Ms. Emily when Cameron turned four.  The experiments and connections she made to her environment were impressive for her age.
Today, Cameron is five and her cheer-leading coach calls her a free-spirit, I love it!  I believe her spirit grew from the experiences at KinderCare and music class.  Cameron's phonics grade on her first quarter report card is 99.3%.  This is quite a testimony to the teachers at KinderCare!
There are many teachers that touched my daughter's life that I have not yet mentioned but each one of them are family.  Thank you to each and every one of you, you made the difference!

- Mother

My daughter has been part of KinderCare for the past four-and-a-half years. It has been a great experience, and I am proud to say that Meghan is ready to start Kindergarten in the fall. The teachers have not only taught her all the "academic" skills she will need to be successful in school, but provided her with a home away from home. What a relief for my husband and me to know that Meghan is in caring hands while we work. Thank you KinderCare staff for doing a wonderful job. We truly appreciate your hard work!

- Mother

After an unsuccessful experience with an in-home caregiver, I was given the recommendation for KinderCare from a friend. She was so happy about her choice with KinderCare and I now understand why. We meet Nikki at the Newburg location and began our adventure with KinderCare. She was understanding and open-minded when listening to our past experience. She then showed us around and introduced us to the teachers. The interactions that we witnessed put me at ease with our upcoming decisions.
After enrolling our son, Bronson, we were excited about his upcoming learning, interactions, and opportunities. The teachers were so kind and cared for him as if he was family. They did a great job communicating his growth, sharing stories of his day and providing guidance when needed. As Bronson entered the Toddler room his personality and independence began to shine. In fact, he couldn't get to his classroom quick enough to see his teacher (Ms. Bethany and Ms.Linda) and his friends. He loved being there! At times, he would cry when leaving.
We, as parents, loved his enthusiasm, art projects, feedback on his learning, seeing him interact with the other kiddos, and the personal interaction with his teachers.
We have had a great experience with KinderCare's staff and their acceptance to the KinderCare family.

- Mother

There really isn't enough room to write how much we recognize and appreciate all the hard work and love the women in the nursery give the children.  We learned a lot from them as well.  When we started in the nursery we worried our boys wouldn't get love like moms give-Boy were we way off! It is VERY clear the nursery teachers love and care for the children from the heart, like a mother would.  A huge thank you to Ms. Brenna, Ms. Catherine, Ms. Julie, Ms. Dolores, and Ms. Becky for helping our boys and us navigate this first year. You're Loved!

- mothers

We have just moved to the toddler room and really appreciate all the love and caring and very important teaching that the boys get. Thank you to Ms. Linda, Ms. Cheryl, Ms. Vanesa, Ms. Ronisha, and Ms. Sheree!

- Mothers

Ms. Charnay and Ms. Stephanie do an exemplary job with my child.  Absolutely wonderful caregivers and teachers!

- Legal Guardian

Thank you Ms. Cheryl!! My daughter LOVES to read and she loves you, too! :)
