AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited–nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference, and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY

Our kids are taking off!

By kindergarten, our kids are testing ahead of their peers. Read all about it.

Accreditation

Many of our child care centers are accredited by national organizations that require us to meet rigorous early childhood education standards and guidelines for high-quality care and education. Programs that are accredited have demonstrated their commitment to go beyond the state’s minimum licensing requirements to meet and maintain these high standards of quality.

Monthly Activities

March's Learning Focus

Children 6 weeks to 3 years old: Amazing Animals

Animals really are amazing, and this month the children in the Infant and Toddler Classrooms are learning all about them. We’ll read about both domestic and wild animals and base our activities and play around them as well. Besides singing songs, crafting, and talking about different animals, we’ll also bring in pictures of our pets, make our own animal sounds and movements, and incorporate animals into cognitive, literacy, and mathematic learning appropriate for each age group. For example, the older children in Discovery Preschool will count goldfish crackers or spots on a dog, while the littlest ones will keep developing their senses by sorting and playing with stuffed animals that have different kinds of pretend fur. This is a very sweet and fun unit for children in each class!

Children 4–5 years old: The Sky and Weather + My Imagination

The four- and five-year-olds will turn their attention to the sky and explore the bounds of their own imaginations this month. Children will learn how clouds and different kinds of weather are created, and do fun theme-related activities like create whipped-topping storm clouds or pretend to be a weather reporter. Our Transitional Kindergarten class will take their learning even farther by doing basic research into how rainbows are formed. The second half of the month will give children a big chance to express themselves through art, music, and drama. We’ll use classic stories like The Three Little Pigs to spark children’s creativity and see where their imaginations lead. As always, we weave our themes into literacy and math activities, and place a focus on building both English and Spanish vocabulary.

Come get a sneak peek of summer at KinderCare during our Open House event, from April 10th – 14th.

At KinderCare, our summer adventures are designed for learning and fun. We love taking our experiments outside, having special guests visit our centers, and even exploring our senses on walks outside or by rolling around in the cool grass. We can’t wait to meet you and show you what makes our centers special and why we would love to spend our summer with you!

Our Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks - 1 year)

Babies grow and learn every day. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing "home away from home" where babies can explore and make new discoveries. We know that learning through play is extremely valuable at this age and our Early Foundations® Infant program is designed to give babies the skills that will serve as the building blocks for a lifetime of learning.

Toddler Programs (1 – 2 Years)

As toddlers develop friendships, self-esteem, and curiosity, our Early Foundations® Toddler program will help them explore their world in a safe and nurturing environment. Our unique curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best through experiences. So each day is filled with fun activities that excite and develop toddlers, giving them the comfort and confidence to speak those first few important words, as well as make their first friends.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2 – 3 Years)

At this age, children are making new discoveries daily. And as two-year olds begin to exert their independence, our Early Foundations® Discovery Preschool program is prepared to open their eyes to a world of learning, sharing, and exploring. Our holistic approach in the classroom engages young minds with a blend of music, art, and movement, as well as the early education fundamentals they'll need as they continue on to preschool.

Preschool Programs (3 – 4 Years)

As preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they may feel ready to take on the world. Our Early Foundations® Preschool program enhances that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and lifelong learners. Through independent exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, children will work on early literacy, math, science, and social studies concepts. A healthy dose of running, jumping, and dancing keeps them active too.

Prekindergarten Programs (4 – 5 Years)

Prekindergartners are preparing for the adventure of a lifetime – school. And our Early Foundations Prekindergarten® program is designed to get them ready by teaching letters and words, math concepts, and valuable social skills. With small group instruction, independent play in an organized atmosphere, and whole-group activities, children will have all the right skills to hop, skip, and jump right into kindergarten.

Private Kindergarten Programs (5 – 6 Years)

As children reach school age, our comprehensive full-day kindergarten program helps them explore, communicate, and create – all in a nurturing, small-class setting. Our team of expert educators has created a unique curriculum of reading, language, arts, math, science, and physical fitness that’s presented in a fun way to encourage a lifelong love of learning. Plus, our program is aligned with local and state elementary school standards, so children will be prepared to confidently enter first grade.

Before- & After-School Programs (5 – 12 Years)

Even after school's out for the day, children need to be engaged in a comfortable, yet stimulating environment. That's where our Catch the Wave® program comes in. This innovative before – and after-school program allows school-age children to balance learning and fun through a variety of experiences. From homework help to fun physical activities, our program is designed so that everyone goes home happy.

Summer Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Don’t miss out on KinderCare’s Summer of Wonder: Six themed programs that will make summer exciting, educational and tons of fun. Whether your child is in our preschool, Pre-K or school-age programs, all of it is designed to help children learn while soaking up the fun. We offer flexible scheduling options to meet the needs of busy families like yours so we hope to see you there.

Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program

Cooking

The Cooking Adventures program gives children opportunities to participate in fun, developmentally appropriate cooking experiences. They will learn about recipes, ingredients, cooking vocabulary, and the importance of a healthy diet. The curriculum includes lessons on picnics, pizza, and heart-healthy meals.

Math

The Math Adventures enrichment program is designed to teach important mathematics concepts such as geometry, numbers, measurement, and probability. Your child will learn about length, height, and weight. He will learn about shapes and solids. He will learn how to add, subtract, multiply, and count money. Math is everywhere and giving your child every advantage now will add up to success later in life.

Music

Ongoing research proves that early exposure to music helps children think, reason, create, and express themselves. Children will laugh and learn about rhythm, vocal melodies, and a variety of musical genres and instruments, which can lower stress and advance memory. Learning never sounded so good.

Phonics & Reading Adventures

Set your child up for advanced success with literacy through phonics, the study of letters and sounds. Reader books, games, and activity cards help your child understand the basics of vowels and blending syllables, giving him confidence and command of language.

Teachers & Staff

The teachers at Redstone KinderCare are passionate about education and nurturing children. Our teachers have an average of sixteen years experience in the Early Childhood Education field. Our teachers are fully qualified by State Standards, and most have an Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education. The Redstone KinderCare strives for excellence through continuing education from biannual company professional development trainings to seeking additional college courses or seminars in the education field. At the end of the day, the true key to our teachers' success is their passion for teaching.

Health and Safety

At Redstone KinderCare your child’s safety is our top priority. Not only are all our outside perimeters locked to ensure security, but all of our playgrounds are fenced with locked gates as well. In addition, the one interior door of the building has a coded entry where only authorized family members will have the codes to enter. A door bell is available to visitors who will be greeted by a center staff member. At KinderCare we have a Health and Safety Coordinator on site as well. The Health and Safety Coordinator’s role includes conducting monthly fire and tornado drills, ensuring that all staff’s First Aid and CPR certificates are up to date, and for maintaining our high cleanliness standards.

At KinderCare, what families say about us means a lot. Read below some of the great experiences our families have had with us.

Share Your Story
If you have a story about your experience at KinderCare, please share your story with us.

I love taking my kids to Redstone Kindercare!! They are so friendly and caring there, I feel like I would be happy to spend my day there instead of at work! My two year old son's favorite teacher is Ms. Jeanne, and Ms. Kelsey can always make my one year old daughter smile no matter how fussy she is! But really ALL the teachers and staff are wonderful, everyone knows our names and greets us when we come in. I love all the crafts the kids bring home, the photos they give us of our children's day, the activities they plan, the calendar with different fun things (like pajama day), and that my kids get to socialize with a small group of other kids their age.

I was worried about behavioral problems as a result of going to daycare, but there have been none! In fact we use a couple of things at home that they use at daycare, like using your "walking feet."

If you are shopping for a daycare, I would recommend making your decision based off of the people who run it! All of the well-known chain daycare centers are going to have a good curriculum, music program, learning activities, etc, but not every school will have amazing teachers who truly care about your kids. I like all the other stuff too, but I really believe its the people that matter the most.

- Mother

Tami and the entire staff are fantastic! They are always welcoming and caring to both of our children and us! They have gone above and beyond in more than one way! Our children love going each day where they can learn, grow and laugh.

- Parents

We found Redstone KinderCare in 2014 after having our first child. It was very important to us to find a very trustworthy, loving, safe, clean, and fun school for our son to attend.

Our son has flourished and learned so much at Redstone KinderCare. We are continually impressed with the detail and consideration that is put into each class' curriculum. We also love all of the creative projects he brings home and knowing he gets to play outside when the Colorado weather permits.

Everyone knows our son's name and he's personally greeted when we arrive every day. Tammy and the teachers are wonderful and take time to speak with us each day about the details of our son's day. We also love Tammy's open door policy which allows us to ask questions whenever we have them.

I never thought I would really feel comfortable leaving our son while we were at work during the day, but I definitely do. I'm so glad we chose Redstone KinderCare.

- Mother

We have been bringing our son to Redstone KinderCare for eight years now. The main reason is the Director, Tami Moore. She has all the skills needed to run this school safely, efficiently and properly. The teachers she is able to hire are great with the children and really do care. You can see it. The opportunities to learn life lessons and get them ready for elementary school are plentiful as well as some fun and educational field trips. I would highly recommend this KinderCare.

- Family

When we leave our children with the teachers at Redstone KinderCare, it always feels like we are leaving them with family. They care for each child as if they were their own. Thank you!

- Parents

The journey to finding quality daycare in which one feels their children will be safe and loved can be very difficult. My spouse and I both work in the Human Services field, and do not underestimate how careful and thoughtful the process has to be. After a lot of research and speaking to other parents, we decided to enroll our sons at Redstone KinderCare. We could not have been more pleased with our choice! Our boys started there six years ago when our youngest was one and our oldest three. We have had zero concerns, because the staff members are outstanding and the boys never want to leave. Here are a few things we love: their teachers, Tami, the fun curriculum, that everyone is very engaged, the nutritional food, the summer programs, and, the best and most important, that our children are well cared for, safe, and loved.

- Mother

I am so impressed by Redstone KinderCare. My son has been attending their program for five months and he absolutely loves it. Every time I drop him off and pick him up we are welcomed with a warm greeting and a friendly smile by staff members and Ms. Tami, the school Director. There is a peaceful, positive and comforting feeling that exudes through the hallways and into the classrooms. I always leave confident that my son is in good hands.
Apart from the friendly environment, the staff is wonderful. They get along with each other and treat my son very lovingly. Each one knows him by name and greets him when they see him. It is obvious that his teacher, Ms. Krystal loves what she does and takes her work very seriously while still maintaining an element of fun and vibrancy in her classroom.
Ms. Tami is an amazing school Director. She is respectful, communicative, thoughtful and patient. My schedule changes very frequently, sometimes at the last minute and she has always been willing to work with me. Not only that, but she makes it a joy in the process and turns impending difficulties into effortless solutions with the flick of her wand.
I am so grateful for Redstone KinderCare, the staff, the environment, the structure and the constant communication. I would recommend this daycare to any one of my friends who is looking for a safe space and an educationally enriched program for their child to grow and to learn.
