Welcome to KinderCare in Foothill Ranch. Our highly-trained and energetic staff is eager to help teach your child the skills they will take with them in their educational journey. Each classroom is designed to promote learning through exploration and play and is based on a curriculum that has proven effective for years.
Our classrooms are filled with colorful learning centers that promote knowledge in developmentally appropriate ways. As young as the infant room, teachers encourage the children to learn through reading stories, singing songs and through sensory exploration. Evidence of learning is displayed on colorful bulletin boards so that parents are able to see pictures of what their children are learning and doing each day, both indoors and out on the playgrounds.

    Babies grow and learn every day. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing "home away from home" where babies can explore and make new discoveries. We know that learning through play is extremely valuable at this age and our Early Foundations® Infant program is designed to give babies the skills that will serve as the building blocks for a lifetime of learning.

  • Toddler Programs (1 – 2 Years)

    Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)

    As toddlers develop friendships, self-esteem, and curiosity, our Early Foundations® Toddler program will help them explore their world in a safe and nurturing environment. Our unique curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best through experiences. So each day is filled with fun activities that excite and develop toddlers, giving them the comfort and confidence to speak those first few important words, as well as make their first friends.

  • Discovery Preschool Programs (2 – 3 Years)

    Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)

    At this age, children are making new discoveries daily. And as two-year olds begin to exert their independence, our Early Foundations® Discovery Preschool program is prepared to open their eyes to a world of learning, sharing, and exploring. Our holistic approach in the classroom engages young minds with a blend of music, art, and movement, as well as the early education fundamentals they'll need as they continue on to preschool.

    As preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they may feel ready to take on the world. Our Early Foundations® Preschool program enhances that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and lifelong learners. Through independent exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, children will work on early literacy, math, science, and social studies concepts. A healthy dose of running, jumping, and dancing keeps them active too.

    Prekindergartners are preparing for the adventure of a lifetime – school. And our Early Foundations Prekindergarten® program is designed to get them ready by teaching letters and words, math concepts, and valuable social skills. With small group instruction, independent play in an organized atmosphere, and whole-group activities, children will have all the right skills to hop, skip, and jump right into kindergarten.

    Private Kindergarten Programs (5–6 Years)

    As children reach school age, our comprehensive full-day kindergarten program helps them explore, communicate, and create – all in a nurturing, small-class setting. Our team of expert educators has created a unique curriculum of reading, language, arts, math, science, and physical fitness that’s presented in a fun way to encourage a lifelong love of learning. Plus, our program is aligned with local and state elementary school standards, so children will be prepared to confidently enter first grade.

    Before and After School Programs (5–12 Years)

    Even after school's out for the day, children need to be engaged in a comfortable, yet stimulating environment. That's where our Catch the Wave® program comes in. This innovative before – and after-school program allows school-age children to balance learning and fun through a variety of experiences. From homework help to fun physical activities, our program is designed so that everyone goes home happy.

  • Learning Adventures - Enrichment Programs

      Active Adventures

      Active Adventures, designed for children ages four and older, develops children's movement capabilities, builds interaction and teamwork skills, and helps children understand what it means to be healthy and fit. From running and jumping to bouncing balls and breathing, your child will be active, get fit, and have fun.

    • Cooking

      Cooking Adventures

      The Cooking Adventures program gives children opportunities to participate in fun, developmentally appropriate cooking experiences. They will learn about recipes, ingredients, cooking vocabulary, and the importance of a healthy diet. The curriculum includes lessons on picnics, pizza, and heart-healthy meals.

    • Music

      Music Adventures

      Ongoing research proves that early exposure to music helps children think, reason, create, and express themselves. Children will laugh and learn about rhythm, vocal melodies, and a variety of musical genres and instruments, which can lower stress and advance memory. Learning never sounded so good.

    • Phonics

      Phonics Adventures

      Set your child up for advanced success with literacy through phonics, the study of letters and sounds. Reader books, games, and activity cards help your child understand the basics of vowels and blending syllables, giving him confidence and command of language.

    • Spanish

      Spanish Adventures

      Spanish Adventures provides young learners with a foundation for later success with the Spanish language. Music, games, children's Spanish literature, and other tools give children multiple opportunities to hear, practice, and see Spanish language for vocabulary and conversational development. Curriculum includes lessons on greetings, numbers, colors, animals, family, body parts and pets as well as how to get engage conversationally during common scenarios at home, a restaurant, or at the zoo.     Summer Programs

    Twelve fun and unique weeks of camp, all summer long! From May through August, KinderCare offers awesome camps for pre-school, pre-k, and school-age kids. It's a great place to bring friends, and to meet new ones! We offer flexible scheduling options to meet the needs of busy families like yours, so join us for all 12 weeks or as many weeks as you like.

This letter is to recommend KinderCare at Foothill Ranch as a positive and caring place to care for and to educate a child.

My child began at KinderCare in Prekindergarten. At his time to exit the Prekindergarten program and enter Kindergarten, he had a month absence with a public school trial. The classes were overcrowded, after school care was chaotic and the student's behavior was hard to control, especially with a high student to teacher ratio.

Seeing that this was not beneficial for the emotional and academic growth of my child, he resumed his education at KinderCare where he is once again excelling in a place where the after school care is as good as the academic school portion of the day.

Being a teacher for over the past twenty years (half in the Unified School District System and most at UCR ), the value of KinderCare's low student teacher ratio is priceless to a child's education and the involvement of all members i.e. parents, administrators, teachers and care givers undoubtedly contribute to a successful student.

The Foothill Ranch location has been a place that foments parent, teacher and administrative relationships. I am pleased that the Director and Assistant Director tackle any issues directly and have an open door policy with parents. The teachers are superb in their educating efforts and communicating information to parents. In addition to great parent/teacher relationships, the Director and Assistant Director/teacher relationship has great communication as well which work together with the parent(s) to access all possible potential from students. - Valecia C., Aunt
