Welcome to KinderCare in Foothill Ranch. Our highly-trained and energetic staff is eager to help teach your child the skills they will take with them in their educational journey. Each classroom is designed to promote learning through exploration and play and is based on a curriculum that has proven effective for years.
Our classrooms are filled with colorful learning centers that promote knowledge in developmentally appropriate ways. As young as the infant room, teachers encourage the children to learn through reading stories, singing songs and through sensory exploration. Evidence of learning is displayed on colorful bulletin boards so that parents are able to see pictures of what their children are learning and doing each day, both indoors and out on the playgrounds.

Welcome

Here at KinderCare Foothill Ranch we take pride in our excellent learning environment. Our teachers are excited to share their knowledge of learning with all the children in their care. Our focus is teaching and learning through play. Developing the whole child and fostering a sense of community and pride. We take pride in classrooms and everything in our center is designed or learning!

Our Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks - 1 year)

Babies grow and learn every day. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing "home away from home" where babies can explore and make new discoveries. We know that learning through play is extremely valuable at this age and our Early Foundations® Infant program is designed to give babies the skills that will serve as the building blocks for a lifetime of learning.

Toddler Programs (1 – 2 Years)

As toddlers develop friendships, self-esteem, and curiosity, our Early Foundations® Toddler program will help them explore their world in a safe and nurturing environment. Our unique curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best through experiences. So each day is filled with fun activities that excite and develop toddlers, giving them the comfort and confidence to speak those first few important words, as well as make their first friends.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2 – 3 Years)

At this age, children are making new discoveries daily. And as two-year olds begin to exert their independence, our Early Foundations® Discovery Preschool program is prepared to open their eyes to a world of learning, sharing, and exploring. Our holistic approach in the classroom engages young minds with a blend of music, art, and movement, as well as the early education fundamentals they'll need as they continue on to preschool.

Preschool Programs (3 – 4 Years)

As preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they may feel ready to take on the world. Our Early Foundations® Preschool program enhances that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and lifelong learners. Through independent exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, children will work on early literacy, math, science, and social studies concepts. A healthy dose of running, jumping, and dancing keeps them active too.

Prekindergarten Programs (4 – 5 Years)

Prekindergartners are preparing for the adventure of a lifetime – school. And our Early Foundations Prekindergarten® program is designed to get them ready by teaching letters and words, math concepts, and valuable social skills. With small group instruction, independent play in an organized atmosphere, and whole-group activities, children will have all the right skills to hop, skip, and jump right into kindergarten.

Private Kindergarten Programs (5 – 6 Years)

As children reach school age, our comprehensive full-day kindergarten program helps them explore, communicate, and create – all in a nurturing, small-class setting. Our team of expert educators has created a unique curriculum of reading, language, arts, math, science, and physical fitness that’s presented in a fun way to encourage a lifelong love of learning. Plus, our program is aligned with local and state elementary school standards, so children will be prepared to confidently enter first grade.

Before- & After-School Programs (5 – 12 Years)

Even after school's out for the day, children need to be engaged in a comfortable, yet stimulating environment. That's where our Catch the Wave® program comes in. This innovative before – and after-school program allows school-age children to balance learning and fun through a variety of experiences. From homework help to fun physical activities, our program is designed so that everyone goes home happy.

Interactive Kindergarten (5 - 6 Years)

A full-day interactive Kindergarten program that utilizes new curriculum with an interactive smart board making first grade readiness a priority.

Summer Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Don’t miss out on KinderCare’s Summer of Wonder: Six themed programs that will make summer exciting, educational and tons of fun. Whether your child is in our preschool, Pre-K or school-age programs, all of it is designed to help children learn while soaking up the fun. We offer flexible scheduling options to meet the needs of busy families like yours so we hope to see you there.

Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program

Cooking

The Cooking Adventures program gives children opportunities to participate in fun, developmentally appropriate cooking experiences. They will learn about recipes, ingredients, cooking vocabulary, and the importance of a healthy diet. The curriculum includes lessons on picnics, pizza, and heart-healthy meals.

Music

Ongoing research proves that early exposure to music helps children think, reason, create, and express themselves. Children will laugh and learn about rhythm, vocal melodies, and a variety of musical genres and instruments, which can lower stress and advance memory. Learning never sounded so good.

Phonics & Reading Adventures

Set your child up for advanced success with literacy through phonics, the study of letters and sounds. Reader books, games, and activity cards help your child understand the basics of vowels and blending syllables, giving him confidence and command of language.

Spanish

Spanish Adventures provides young learners with a foundation for later success with the Spanish language. Music, games, children's Spanish literature, and other tools give children multiple opportunities to hear, practice, and see Spanish language for vocabulary and conversational development. Curriculum includes lessons on greetings, numbers, colors, animals, family, body parts and pets as well as how to get engage conversationally during common scenarios at home, a restaurant, or at the zoo. Health and Safety

The safety of all the children is very important to us. Our goal is to provide a fun, enriching and safe environment, where parents feel confident that all possible measures will be used to ensure children will have a wonderful and safe experience. Our center staff is certified in CPR and First Aid. Security is very important to us, that is why each parent gets a unique code to enter our premises and door access code changes on regular basis. It is our responsibility to ensure our children are safe.

At KinderCare, what families say about us means a lot. Read below some of the great experiences our families have had with us.

I highly recommend this facility. I recently lost my husband and could no longer afford my nanny.  I was also in jeopardy of losing my job, if I didn’t find alternative childcare right away. The foothill location is only a few miles away from my office, so the location was perfect and I called them about tuition and program details. I went in for a tour the very day I called.

Upon entering the center, I was warmly welcomed by Melissa and Renah. We discussed, in detail, the circumstances of my needs and the extended complications of my situation. I enrolled him on the spot and he has been happily attending ever since that moment.

I would honestly say that the whole staff is amazing. The little one loves his teachers, Mrs. Amber and Mrs. Tori. Whenever I seem frazzled, Ms. Renah brings me into the office to talk. She is forever encouraging and lovingly praises my little guy. This last year has been harrowing but with the support, understanding, and acceptance of the staff at KinderCare Foothill, it has been easy. I have no worries about him while he is there throughout the day, which is a weight worth relieving. I recommend this location wholeheartedly.

- Mother

First off, we cannot say enough GREAT things about Foothill Ranch Kinder Care. All the teachers, kids, curriculum and the program offered for our toddler was beyond what we expected. We pulled Parker out of the daycare he was at and we had such high standards and expectations of what we wanted for his care that once we met with Mrs. Ranah (the director there) we knew hands down this was the right and only place for him. It only took him a few days to adjust to new teachers and kids and fit right in. I started to see such special individual teacher connections with him and it was such an awesome feeling to know he was in the best hands when I was at work. In the mornings since he was early drop off Ms. Shelia was there and he loves her and would run over to her and grab a book for her to read to him and could care a less about mama at that point He also loved Ms. Mirim and Ms. Noelle I could see. He was loved seriously by all the teachers. We have already seen him grow so much as a little boy, loving books, sharing more and playing with other kids, saying more words now and his little personality coming out so much more. Its very important to place your little one in a safe, caring and educational environment and I truly would tell any and everyone how amazing this Preschool is and to check it out.

This letter is to recommend KinderCare at Foothill Ranch as a positive and caring place to care for and to educate a child.
My child began at KinderCare in Prekindergarten. At his time to exit the Prekindergarten program and enter Kindergarten, he had a month absence with a public school trial. The classes were overcrowded, after school care was chaotic and the student's behavior was hard to control, especially with a high student to teacher ratio.
Seeing that this was not beneficial for the emotional and academic growth of my child, he resumed his education at KinderCare where he is once again excelling in a place where the after school care is as good as the academic school portion of the day.
Being a teacher for over the past twenty years (half in the Unified School District System and most at UCR ), the value of KinderCare's low student teacher ratio is priceless to a child's education and the involvement of all members i.e. parents, administrators, teachers and care givers undoubtedly contribute to a successful student.
The Foothill Ranch location has been a place that foments parent, teacher and administrative relationships. I am pleased that the Director and Assistant Director tackle any issues directly and have an open door policy with parents. The teachers are superb in their educating efforts and communicating information to parents. In addition to great parent/teacher relationships, the Director and Assistant Director/teacher relationship has great communication as well which work together with the parent(s) to access all possible potential from students.

- Aunt

We just wanted to thank you for everything you and your staff have done for our family over the past year. When we moved to Mission Viejo a year ago, we were very concerned about finding a Prekindergarten program that our son Will would be happy with. We have had difficulty with other providers in the past, and Will really missed his first daycare in Irvine, which he started when he was 18 months old. When we found your center near his mom’s office, we were so pleased, because of KinderCare’s great reputation. And we were not disappointed. Will loves it there and will miss his teachers and classmates dearly.
As you know, Will is starting public school in the fall and will be spending the summer at home with his grandmother, who recently got laid off from her job. If her status changes we will let you know. We also hope that there will be spots available during school breaks, so he can come back and see his old friends and teachers.
Thank you again for everything! The support, encouragement and caring that you and your staff have shown over the past year makes us feel confident in his ability to move to the next level.

I can't say enough how wonderful KinderCare in Foothill Ranch is. When the time came to find a daycare for my younger child, I knew that KinderCare was the only choice due to several factors, but let's back up to the beginning.
I found myself in the position of needing a place for my younger son. I wanted more than a daycare facility and knew that private preschool was not the route to go. I had previously put my oldest child into a private preschool thinking that she was going to get a better education and be prepared for Kindergarten. Let's just say that I wasn't overly thrilled with our choice.
My sister was a Director at a KinderCare in Temecula for ten years and so I was very familiar with the high standards and expectations that she had for her school. Expecting to get the same standards at the KinderCare in Foothill Ranch, I did not look at any other schools in the area. What I hadn't expected was the extended family that my son has at this school. Immediately he was welcomed with open arms and loved like he was their own.
In that same year, my husband and I divorced which had its affect on the children. The support staff at KinderCare Foothill Ranch kept an extra eye on my son to support him, love him and guide him through all of his emotional issues that he was sorting out. It became one of the few places that didn't change in his life and he relied on them to be his rock. I fully believe that if it wasn't for the awesome people at KinderCare Foothill Ranch, my son would not have taken the divorce as well as he did. Almost a year later, he is a happy little boy with almost no signs of any traumatic stress. He is thriving academically and my expectations have been surpassed. He will be more ready and ahead of schedule when the time comes for him to start kindergarten.
I would highly recommend any child to this facility. They truly are a seconfnd family to my family and I don't know what I would have done without them.
Thanks!
