We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited–nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference, and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

Our kids are taking off!

By kindergarten, our kids are testing ahead of their peers. Read all about it.

Many of our child care centers are accredited by national organizations that require us to meet rigorous early childhood education standards and guidelines for high-quality care and education. Programs that are accredited have demonstrated their commitment to go beyond the state’s minimum licensing requirements to meet and maintain these high standards of quality.

Our Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks - 1 year)

Babies grow and learn every day. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing "home away from home" where babies can explore and make new discoveries. We know that learning through play is extremely valuable at this age and our Early Foundations® Infant program is designed to give babies the skills that will serve as the building blocks for a lifetime of learning.

Toddler Programs (1 – 2 Years)

As toddlers develop friendships, self-esteem, and curiosity, our Early Foundations® Toddler program will help them explore their world in a safe and nurturing environment. Our unique curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best through experiences. So each day is filled with fun activities that excite and develop toddlers, giving them the comfort and confidence to speak those first few important words, as well as make their first friends.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2 – 3 Years)

At this age, children are making new discoveries daily. And as two-year olds begin to exert their independence, our Early Foundations® Discovery Preschool program is prepared to open their eyes to a world of learning, sharing, and exploring. Our holistic approach in the classroom engages young minds with a blend of music, art, and movement, as well as the early education fundamentals they'll need as they continue on to preschool.

Preschool Programs (3 – 4 Years)

As preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they may feel ready to take on the world. Our Early Foundations® Preschool program enhances that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and lifelong learners. Through independent exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, children will work on early literacy, math, science, and social studies concepts. A healthy dose of running, jumping, and dancing keeps them active too.

Prekindergarten Programs (4 – 5 Years)

Prekindergartners are preparing for the adventure of a lifetime – school. And our Early Foundations Prekindergarten® program is designed to get them ready by teaching letters and words, math concepts, and valuable social skills. With small group instruction, independent play in an organized atmosphere, and whole-group activities, children will have all the right skills to hop, skip, and jump right into kindergarten.

Participating Child Care Aware Center

KinderCare has partnered with Child Care Aware® of America in an effort to offer fee assistance for Active Duty military families and solutions to their child care needs when care at a Child Development Center on the installation is not available.

Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program

The Cooking Adventures program gives children opportunities to participate in fun, developmentally appropriate cooking experiences. They will learn about recipes, ingredients, cooking vocabulary, and the importance of a healthy diet. The curriculum includes lessons on picnics, pizza, and heart-healthy meals.

The Math Adventures enrichment program is designed to teach important mathematics concepts such as geometry, numbers, measurement, and probability. Your child will learn about length, height, and weight. He will learn about shapes and solids. He will learn how to add, subtract, multiply, and count money. Math is everywhere and giving your child every advantage now will add up to success later in life.

Ongoing research proves that early exposure to music helps children think, reason, create, and express themselves. Children will laugh and learn about rhythm, vocal melodies, and a variety of musical genres and instruments, which can lower stress and advance memory. Learning never sounded so good.

Phonics & Reading Adventures

Set your child up for advanced success with literacy through phonics, the study of letters and sounds. Reader books, games, and activity cards help your child understand the basics of vowels and blending syllables, giving him confidence and command of language.

Teachers & Staff

The teachers at our Creve Coeur KinderCare school are passionate and dedicated to the education of young children.  Many of our teachers have or are working toward their Child Development Associate's Credential, their Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, or a related degree in the Education field. Our school strives for excellence through continuing staff education, including two professional development days where the staff is taught the latest techniques in early childhood teaching strategies. Most of all, our teachers have an unfailing love of children and learning.

April's Learning Focus

Children 6 weeks to 3 years old: Growing Gardens

What better time to explore the beauty and science of flowers and gardens than the spring? Infants’ learning will focus on sensory experiences with different plants and flowers, while toddlers and three-year-olds have the opportunity to learn how to care for plants. We’ll plant seeds in soil, water the plants, observe bugs and discover how they help plants grow, and even plant a butterfly garden outside! We’ll build math skills by counting seeds, learn new vocabulary words related to flowers and plants, and as always, sing songs and read books involving gardens.

Children 4–5 years old: In the Spring + Wild Animals

For children in the Preschool and Transitional Kindergarten Classrooms, April is about exploring all things spring and discovering wild animals! Preschoolers will look for signs of spring outdoors, make mud cakes and count the twigs placed in them, and paint still-life paintings of things related to spring. When our learning turns to wild animals, we’ll learn about the habitats and habits of creatures big and small while maintaining a focus on learning lowercase letters.

The older children in Transitional Kindergarten will focus on project-related work and pick something to work on together. In years past, children have painted a mural, made spring parade floats, painted wild animal masks, and created a model of a wild animal’s habitat. Both of these units focus on expanding the children’s understanding of the natural world around them.

If you have a story about your experience at KinderCare, please share your story with us.

Kindercare has been not only a safe place for Lily to learn and grow, but a stable point in her young life filled with people who love and nurture her. It’s more than just a place she goes each day while mom or dad are working, but a place where she is shown that she is special and appreciated by all of the teachers, not just her own.
- Father

My son has been with the KinderCare Creve Coeur since he was 12 weeks old. He has flourished in such a safe and positive environment. In every level / classroom he has had only the best teachers. I've always been able to communicate my concerns without problem, and even formed some friendships along the way. This KinderCare has really helped Dexter become a kind, sharing and positive little boy. I'm eternally grateful.

- Mother
We have been with this Kindercare for over a year and my child has made tremendous strides in learning. In fact, she has tested above what she should be at her age and will be ahead of most kids in her kindergarten class. This facility is very clean and safe. My child had the same teacher for the ENTIRE pre-school class and knows all the teachers. Every day when she comes home she is able to tell us exactly what she has learned, and is excited to go back. There are often times where she tells us things that she learned that I did not know. (did you know the difference between frogs and toads is that frogs need to live near water?..learned that from my daughter on the way home from preschool) Also, I get a report every day on what my child studied, what they had for lunch, and how they napped. The teachers are ALWAYS very interested in each and every kids development and regularly hold parent teacher conferences. We recently enrolled our newest addition to the family who is about to turn 6 months old. The infant room is always clean, and they are always working with early developmental skills. It is very obvious to us that our infant is getting lots of attention and stimulation (she is always soooo tired when she gets home ). When we pick her up, her belly is full and diaper is clean!!!. Could not be any happier with this place. The Director Nichole, has gone out of her way on several occasions to make sure we are happy, and could not be any nicer of a person. Yes, this is not the cheapest daycare in the area, but the rates are very reasonable. We look at it as an investment in our children's future. So far it's been a good investment.
- Father
Thank you for the great care that you’ve provided to Jacob! I admit that it was very hard for me to leave my baby and go back to work. There were many tears that first day when I dropped him off for the first time. But when he looked at Ms. Joanne and smiled, I knew everything would be OK. It was like he was choosing Kindercare as his home away from home. And to further calm our concerns, the first time he ever laughed was after he came home from his first day at daycare. This was a sign to us that he was in good hands!
We also appreciate how everyone went above and beyond to try to prevent Jacob from needing the helmet. That really meant a lot to us! And even though he had to get the helmet, you have all been great about taking the extra steps necessary to care for him. Thank you!
When we look at Jacob, we see a happy, healthy, well-adjusted baby. And we credit a lot of those positive traits to the love and care that he receives from all of you. Thank you for taking such good care of our baby! He means the world to us and it’s nice to know that he’s in such great hands!
