Welcome

Welcome to the Rangeline KinderCare Learning Center!

Our learning center is located off Rangeline Road, just blocks from downtown Carmel. Walking in our front door you will immediately feel welcomed by our experienced, friendly staff and cozy learning environment. Each classroom, and its corrisponding curriculum, is designed to foster your child’s individual growth and development, working together to ensure his/her school readiness.

Our nationally recognized curriculum aligns with the Indiana State Standards, NECPA and NAEYC criteria.   From our Infant room to our School Age After School Club, our teachers are passionately guiding each child's success!

Our Preschool is also passionate about having a positive footprint in our community and currently helps sponsor the Carmel Farmer's Market, Carmel Dad's Club, and Local Food Pantries along with donating to many other community outreach programs like the Mover's for Moms, and Third Phase Food Pantry and Women's Shelter.  We believe it's important to teach children about kindness, service, and compassion, and one of the best ways is by example!

AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited–nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference, and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY

Our kids are taking off!

By kindergarten, our kids are testing ahead of their peers. Read all about it.

Accreditation

Many of our child care centers are accredited by national organizations that require us to meet rigorous early childhood education standards and guidelines for high-quality care and education. Programs that are accredited have demonstrated their commitment to go beyond the state’s minimum licensing requirements to meet and maintain these high standards of quality.

Our Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks - 1 year)

Babies grow and learn every day. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing "home away from home" where babies can explore and make new discoveries. We know that learning through play is extremely valuable at this age and our Early Foundations® Infant program is designed to give babies the skills that will serve as the building blocks for a lifetime of learning.

Toddler Programs (1 – 2 Years)

As toddlers develop friendships, self-esteem, and curiosity, our Early Foundations® Toddler program will help them explore their world in a safe and nurturing environment. Our unique curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best through experiences. So each day is filled with fun activities that excite and develop toddlers, giving them the comfort and confidence to speak those first few important words, as well as make their first friends.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2 – 3 Years)

At this age, children are making new discoveries daily. And as two-year olds begin to exert their independence, our Early Foundations® Discovery Preschool program is prepared to open their eyes to a world of learning, sharing, and exploring. Our holistic approach in the classroom engages young minds with a blend of music, art, and movement, as well as the early education fundamentals they'll need as they continue on to preschool.

Preschool Programs (3 – 4 Years)

As preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they may feel ready to take on the world. Our Early Foundations® Preschool program enhances that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and lifelong learners. Through independent exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, children will work on early literacy, math, science, and social studies concepts. A healthy dose of running, jumping, and dancing keeps them active too.

Prekindergarten Programs (4 – 5 Years)

Prekindergartners are preparing for the adventure of a lifetime – school. And our Early Foundations Prekindergarten® program is designed to get them ready by teaching letters and words, math concepts, and valuable social skills. With small group instruction, independent play in an organized atmosphere, and whole-group activities, children will have all the right skills to hop, skip, and jump right into kindergarten.

Before- & After-School Programs (5 – 12 Years)

Even after school's out for the day, children need to be engaged in a comfortable, yet stimulating environment. That's where our Catch the Wave® program comes in. This innovative before – and after-school program allows school-age children to balance learning and fun through a variety of experiences. From homework help to fun physical activities, our program is designed so that everyone goes home happy.

Summer Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Don’t miss out on KinderCare’s Summer of Wonder: Six themed programs that will make summer exciting, educational and tons of fun. Whether your child is in our preschool, Pre-K or school-age programs, all of it is designed to help children learn while soaking up the fun. We offer flexible scheduling options to meet the needs of busy families like yours so we hope to see you there.

Participating Child Care Aware Center

KinderCare has partnered with Child Care Aware® of America in an effort to offer fee assistance for Active Duty military families and solutions to their child care needs when care at a Child Development Center on the installation is not available.

Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program

Cooking

The Cooking Adventures program gives children opportunities to participate in fun, developmentally appropriate cooking experiences. They will learn about recipes, ingredients, cooking vocabulary, and the importance of a healthy diet. The curriculum includes lessons on picnics, pizza, and heart-healthy meals.

Math

The Math Adventures enrichment program is designed to teach important mathematics concepts such as geometry, numbers, measurement, and probability. Your child will learn about length, height, and weight. He will learn about shapes and solids. He will learn how to add, subtract, multiply, and count money. Math is everywhere and giving your child every advantage now will add up to success later in life.

Music

Ongoing research proves that early exposure to music helps children think, reason, create, and express themselves. Children will laugh and learn about rhythm, vocal melodies, and a variety of musical genres and instruments, which can lower stress and advance memory. Learning never sounded so good.

Phonics & Reading Adventures

Set your child up for advanced success with literacy through phonics, the study of letters and sounds. Reader books, games, and activity cards help your child understand the basics of vowels and blending syllables, giving him confidence and command of language.

Spanish

Spanish Adventures provides young learners with a foundation for later success with the Spanish language. Music, games, children's Spanish literature, and other tools give children multiple opportunities to hear, practice, and see Spanish language for vocabulary and conversational development. Curriculum includes lessons on greetings, numbers, colors, animals, family, body parts and pets as well as how to get engage conversationally during common scenarios at home, a restaurant, or at the zoo. August's Learning Focus

Children 6 weeks to 3 years old: All About Me and Dinosaurs
Infants and toddlers will learn all about themselves while kids in Discovery Preschool will take a look at our favorite extinct creatures: dinosaurs! Infants will look at their reflections in mirrors, listen to voices through cardboard tubes to encourage babbling, and practice self-expression as they move while listening to music. Toddlers will create body-related artwork (like paintings of their faces) and imagine the future as they pretend to be all grown up while playing dress-up. Meanwhile, children in Discovery Preschool are in for a “dinomite” time learning all about dinosaurs and their habitats, and they’ll build essential skills through fun, theme-related activities—like counting dinosaur eggs and going on pretend fossil hunts!

Children 4 to 5 years old: Foods and Flavors, Shapes and Colors, and Alphabet Letters/Review
For the first two weeks of August, older children will be learning all about the basic food groups, where food comes from, and how to make healthful food choices. After that, preschoolers will be getting artsy as they explore shapes and colors using materials like blocks, paint, play dough, and colored water—and they’ll even take their knowledge outdoors with scavenger hunts for colors and shapes! Their older friends in Pre-K and Transitional Kindergarten will be getting up close and personal with the alphabet as they learn uppercase and lowercase letters, the sounds the letters make, and how those sounds can be combined to make words—all culminating with the creation of a classroom alphabet book.

About Our Center

We would love for you to visit our preschool and catch a glimpse of the busy learning fun taking place each and everyday.  We are excited for all of the hands-on learning coming our students' way with our added Spanish curriculum and our small group opportunities with Learning Adventures!

Our teaching staff have an array of unique skills that contribute to each child's well-rounded learning experience!  Ms. Jenna and Ms. Margo are very active in the Carmel and Noblesville Arts Districts and Ms.Kaley is fluent in Spanish from her 5 years living and teaching abroad!  Each teacher on staff is able to enrich our students' education and development with their unique skill sets.

We take great pride in our Learning Adventures Classes lead by Ms. Jenna.  Our year-round classes are Spanish, Math, Phonics, Reading, and Cooking which allow children to work in small groups according to their current ability levels.  Our families especially love our Special Week-long camps like Phonics Detectives, Crock Pot Cooking club, Yoga, and Seasonal Holiday Camps!

Health and Safety

Our center takes pride in fostering a safe and healthy environment as our number one priority. We are lucky to partner with the Carmel Police and Fire Departments that are directly across the street!  Together, we help teach our students and families the most recent safety tips and enjoy their annual visits allowing the children to know their neighborhood helpers!

We have very intentional features like our front door keypad entry, self-locking doors (playground and exterior doors), and fenced in playgrounds. Every employee completes CPR, First Aid and Universal Precautions trainings annually and we conduct monthly Emergency drills as a whole building to make sure we are as prepared for any emergency as possible.  We take the safety and heath of each one of our children very seriously.

At KinderCare, what families say about us means a lot. Read below some of the great experiences our families have had with us.

Share Your Story
If you have a story about your experience at KinderCare, please share your story with us.

"The one-on-one time/ small groups outside of regular classroom is great for my daughter!  She is so excited to learn and loves spending time  with and talking about Ms. Jenna!  She is developmentally really progressing since joining the Phonics Learning Adventures class!"
- Mother
"Within a couple weeks I noticed my daughter identifying letters by sight and sound.  She passed out our Christmas presents because she knew the first letter of everyone's name!  She loves phonics class!  She talks about how much she loves Ms. Jenna and the fun activities they get to do in their small group.  If you're considering one of the Learning Adventure Classes definitely try it!  I am positive that they will benefit from the education push and it's great to have small group attention time as well!"
- Mother

Any parent wonders about leaving their child in the care of others. The Rangeline KinderCare team makes sure our daughter is well cared for, intellectually stimulated and challenged to develop new skills every day. Most importantly, they make her feel loved and safe. Confident that our daughter is happy and excelling in their care, we can go to work and focus on our jobs so that by the time we pick her up, we can focus on our family.

Our daughter is an individual to the Rangeline Kindercare team, not just one of many in a classroom. Each day the team members make time to speak about not only our child but us, too. Everyone at this center cares about the wellness of the children and their families, and it is because of this sense of community we are so proud to be part of their family.

- Mother

I love the Rangeline KinderCare. There are daycares that are closer to our home and work, but we choose to send our child to this center because of the warm, nurturing and welcoming environment this center has. The director and teachers are all great. Our child started in the Infant Room, transitioned to the Tiny Tot Room and is now in the Toddler Room and we have had such exceptional experiences with each classroom. I also love that the director knows all the children by name - personalization is huge at this center. Thank you, KinderCare, for all that you do for our child!

- Mother

The entire team at KinderCare Rangeline center is tremendous that provides us with such a high sense of comfort in handing our kid over to them.
It takes a mountain of confidence for parents to hand over their kids to someone and the KinderCare Rangeline team brings in the same confidence and demonstrates that from day one. Be it taking ten calls a day regarding how Anika had been doing, or emailing random picture with such valuable expressions that we miss, for sure, is far beyond. Thank You! No words can explain the emotions to see Anika grow and develop her personality. The team is professional and they make the kids feel at home and groom them for the future. While the entire team puts in herculean efforts day in and day out to keep the show on, there always are a few people who touch us on daily basis.
Ms. Tairyn, Ms. Emily, Mr. Ron are those gems of this team who had always stood out in grooming Anika as a toddler from an infant. Ms. Tairyn had always been like a role model for Anika. Anika would always follow her in what she does. We had always seen sparkle in Anika's eyes when she sees Ms. Emily or Mr. Ron, be it in the KinderCare facility or at a public place. This does show how connected she is to all her teachers, which always strengthens our confidence and what brought us to this center more than an year ago. Ms. Tairyn, Ms. Emily and Mr. Ron had made the last year look like "peaches" for us when it comes to bringing up Anika and telling her what she needs to know, in spite of the cultural diversity. Ms. Jaime, Ms. Kim, Ms. Suzzie are those terrific people who had been helping Anika. The sparkle in her eyes at 7:45 AM when she sees her favorite teachers cannot be put into words. From the days when she was new to the environment and would resist to be dropped off, to the days when see runs from the car to her teachers, is the reflection of her confidence and comfort in being at this facility and with these wonderful people. She does feel at home when she arrives. From the different food needs that Anika has, to helping her learn all that she knows, would have not been possible without the efforts of these terrific people. We know Anika enjoys her time here and she is, nowadays, never reluctant to go. The other name that needs a special mention is Ms. Bobby, who does one of the most difficult tasks of making different kinds of food for all the kids at the school. She is the person who feeds Anika and all other kids and ensures that the basic necessities are addressed. No words of gratitude are enough for Ms. Bobby's efforts.
While these jewels of KinderCare Rangeline facility are the face of the team, leaders like Candace and Katie are needed to hold this ship together and ensure that the experience provided to kids and their parents is always second to none. These two people are the brain of this facility. Though this is a short synopsis of Anika's experience in the last year, this also is the sense of confidence from new parents.
