Programs that are accredited have demonstrated their commitment to go beyond the state’s minimum licensing requirements to meet and maintain these high standards of quality.

Our Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks - 1 year)

Babies grow and learn every day. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing "home away from home" where babies can explore and make new discoveries. We know that learning through play is extremely valuable at this age and our Early Foundations® Infant program is designed to give babies the skills that will serve as the building blocks for a lifetime of learning.

Toddler Programs (1 – 2 Years)

As toddlers develop friendships, self-esteem, and curiosity, our Early Foundations® Toddler program will help them explore their world in a safe and nurturing environment. Our unique curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best through experiences. So each day is filled with fun activities that excite and develop toddlers, giving them the comfort and confidence to speak those first few important words, as well as make their first friends.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2 – 3 Years)

At this age, children are making new discoveries daily. And as two-year olds begin to exert their independence, our Early Foundations® Discovery Preschool program is prepared to open their eyes to a world of learning, sharing, and exploring. Our holistic approach in the classroom engages young minds with a blend of music, art, and movement, as well as the early education fundamentals they'll need as they continue on to preschool.

Preschool Programs (3 – 4 Years)

As preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they may feel ready to take on the world. Our Early Foundations® Preschool program enhances that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and lifelong learners. Through independent exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, children will work on early literacy, math, science, and social studies concepts. A healthy dose of running, jumping, and dancing keeps them active too.

Prekindergarten Programs (4 – 5 Years)

Prekindergartners are preparing for the adventure of a lifetime – school. And our Early Foundations Prekindergarten® program is designed to get them ready by teaching letters and words, math concepts, and valuable social skills. With small group instruction, independent play in an organized atmosphere, and whole-group activities, children will have all the right skills to hop, skip, and jump right into kindergarten.

Private Kindergarten Programs (5 – 6 Years)

As children reach school age, our comprehensive full-day kindergarten program helps them explore, communicate, and create – all in a nurturing, small-class setting. Our team of expert educators has created a unique curriculum of reading, language, arts, math, science, and physical fitness that’s presented in a fun way to encourage a lifelong love of learning. Plus, our program is aligned with local and state elementary school standards, so children will be prepared to confidently enter first grade.

Before- & After-School Programs (5 – 12 Years)

Even after school's out for the day, children need to be engaged in a comfortable, yet stimulating environment. That's where our Catch the Wave® program comes in. This innovative before – and after-school program allows school-age children to balance learning and fun through a variety of experiences. From homework help to fun physical activities, our program is designed so that everyone goes home happy.

Summer Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Don’t miss out on KinderCare’s Summer of Wonder: Six themed programs that will make summer exciting, educational and tons of fun. Whether your child is in our preschool, Pre-K or school-age programs, all of it is designed to help children learn while soaking up the fun. We offer flexible scheduling options to meet the needs of busy families like yours so we hope to see you there.

Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program

The Cooking Adventures program gives children opportunities to participate in fun, developmentally appropriate cooking experiences. They will learn about recipes, ingredients, cooking vocabulary, and the importance of a healthy diet. The curriculum includes lessons on picnics, pizza, and heart-healthy meals.

The Math Adventures enrichment program is designed to teach important mathematics concepts such as geometry, numbers, measurement, and probability. Your child will learn about length, height, and weight. He will learn about shapes and solids. He will learn how to add, subtract, multiply, and count money. Math is everywhere and giving your child every advantage now will add up to success later in life.

Ongoing research proves that early exposure to music helps children think, reason, create, and express themselves. Children will laugh and learn about rhythm, vocal melodies, and a variety of musical genres and instruments, which can lower stress and advance memory. Learning never sounded so good.

Phonics & Reading Adventures

Set your child up for advanced success with literacy through phonics, the study of letters and sounds. Reader books, games, and activity cards help your child understand the basics of vowels and blending syllables, giving him confidence and command of language.

Spanish Adventures provides young learners with a foundation for later success with the Spanish language. Music, games, children's Spanish literature, and other tools give children multiple opportunities to hear, practice, and see Spanish language for vocabulary and conversational development. Curriculum includes lessons on greetings, numbers, colors, animals, family, body parts and pets as well as how to get engage conversationally during common scenarios at home, a restaurant, or at the zoo. Children 6 weeks to 3 years old: Light and Dark, plus the Sky and Weather

Through shadow play, experiments with flashlights, observing the Sun and more, infants and toddlers will enjoy learning about light and dark this month. Infants continue sensory development by looking at contrasting patterns and at objects that are clearly defined by sharp edges and bright colors, while toddlers will build on their understanding of the light and dark concepts with play around daytime and nighttime. The older Discovery Preschool children will turn their attention to the sky as they learn about weather, the Moon, the Sun, and stars.

Children 4–5 years old: Transportation, Healthy Bodies, and Winter

For children in the Preschool and Kindergarten classrooms, January is filled with variety! They’ll begin by learning about transportation and studying how things get from “here” to “there.” A few weeks later, the focus will shift to health and bodies, with an emphasis placed on how to make good choices for a growing body. Towards the end of the month, children will be introduced to the transformative nature of the winter season and learn how to dress and take care of themselves when it’s cold outside.

I feel very privileged to be working in at KinderCare Branchburg; I know how important that is since, I am a mother of a 2 ½ year old son. I find myself happy and feel fulfilled & rewarded when spending time with children. I have acquired practical experience working within the NYC school, such as Henry Street Settlement, where I worked in PS.20 Elementary School After-School Program as a Group Leader. I worked with 25 students, in which I constructed lesson plans and helped students with their homework. Also I have experience while working as a nanny. I have worked closely with educating and teaching children how to read, write, and practice their fine-motor skills. I have also worked closely with the wonderful children of the Kids Club at Equinox Fitness Tribeca, as I provide the care for and passionately entertain these children aged three months to eight years. I believe that the children deserve good care and I am lucky to be working in this center.

    1. December's Learning Focus

Children 6 weeks to 3 years old: Family, Friends, and Things that Go!

Infants and toddlers will be exploring family and friends, while three-year-olds will focus on things that go vroom! Social and emotional development is foundational to growth and development in babies, so this month, infants and toddlers will participate in activities that reinforce their connection to family while also exploring connections that exist outside their home, such as friends. Meanwhile, their older friends in Discovery Preschool will learn about and play around with things that move (like bicycles, cars, buses, trains, and airplanes), which are all very exciting for little ones as they continue to explore the world outside their homes.

Children 4–5 years old: My Country + Tools and Machines

The four- and five-year-olds continue exploring the world around them by learning about the state and country they live in! They’ll sings songs, play games based on travel, and learn about flags, state foods, and more. Children will also be introduced to cardinal directions (east, west, north, and south) and gain an appreciation for travel and meeting new friends from different places.

Children are naturally fascinated with machines and how things work and are put together. So to encourage that fascination, during the second half of this month children will learn about and play around with tools and machines. In addition to building literacy skills by using the names of machines and tools, children will develop math skills by graphing information, counting wheels, and more.

Health and Safety

Safety is my number one concern and I stress that to every staff member each day. We have a Health and Safety coordinator who conducts monthly audits of our center to make sure our equipment, facilities and playgrounds are up to par. Monthly fire drills and disaster drills are conducted with the children as well so we are all prepared.

Our center is in good standing with state and local licensing departments to make sure we are compliant with the most up-to-date safety and security measures.

At KinderCare, what families say about us means a lot. Read below some of the great experiences our families have had with us.

Share Your Story
If you have a story about your experience at KinderCare, please share your story with us.

I was a scared and nervous mommy walking into Kindercare for the first time with my 10 month old baby who had been at home with me since day one. All I wanted was for my baby to be loved, hugged and played with, which is what any parent hopes for when they are leaving their child in the care of someone else. While looking at different daycares, how could I ever know she would get that? Right away, when we began our tour at Kindercare I just knew, it was like a gut feeling. This was the place my daughter was going to be taken care of the best. Ms. Tirusha, the Center Director, said this would become her “home away from home.” Well, in just 2 short months, she was right, my daughter has a “home away from home” and gets hugged, played with and is loved. We have found that all at Kindercare. She has fallen in love with Ms. Jackie, Ms. Chelsea, Ms. Lucy, Ms. Michelle, Ms. Polina, Ms. Tirusha and many others that are in the infant room. They encourage me to call during the day and anyone who answers is happy to let me know how my baby is doing and gives me a brief description on her day so far. This makes me feel safe and comfortable. Everyone has taken the time to get to know my family and I and are so friendly when we walk in the door! Ms. Jackie and Ms. Chelsea have really gotten to know my daughter. They know her signs for tired and hungry, what to feed her and when. They cater to her needs. I started out with so many fears but they assured me they would do whatever it took to make my daughter comfortable… and they did and still do! The two of them go above and beyond to make sure my baby is happy! I could go on and on about how wonderful everyone at Kindercare has treated my daughter, my husband and I. This is the experience we hoped to have sending our daughter to daycare and we are lucky to have gotten it!
- Mother

Our daughter has been in the KinderCare Branchburg infant room since she was 3 ½ months old and we couldn’t be happier with our choice to place her there. Miss Michelle and Miss Jackie are absolutely amazing care takers and it’s reassuring as a parent to know that our daughter is in great hands during the day – being loved, cared for, learning and ultimately super happy! Both Miss Michelle and Miss Jackie always have a smile on their face and a cuddle waiting for each baby. They take the time to really get to know each baby and cater to all their unique needs. We are very happy our daughter is in their care and it makes it very easy to drop her off each day….especially when we see her huge smile when she enters the room and sees her teachers!

- Mother

One of the most precious things in our lives are our children. Having to send them to daycare is no easy task so making sure you send them to the right one is a big deal. When we started our search for daycares we visited everything from the Big names to the small local places to find the right fit for our son. There were those that looked great but were just too expensive and those that we knew the second we walked in that we would never leave our kids there. That brings us to the Kindercare of Branchburg. I was recommended to this daycare by a colleague of mine and had heard positive things about the place and it’s staff. The moment we walked in our son ran to the Center Director, Tirusha Dave, and gave her a big hug. We knew right then that he had made his choice. As we spoke to Tirusha and her staff we genuinely felt good about the place. Everyone is nice and friendly and they care about what they do. We can honestly say our son likes all the teachers at the daycare and it seems to be consistent amongst all the kids we see there. An important factor for us was that this is not simply a babysitter watching our child but a place that provides more for him with a curriculum and challenges that motivate children to learn and grow as individuals. We knew this was the place for us and in the time that our son has spent at the Kindercare of Branchburg we truly feel they have become a part of our family.

- Parents

From the first day our daughter has loved going to Kindercare. I don't feel guilty going to work because she is happy when I drop her off and I have trouble getting her to leave with me at the end of the day. She loves everyone and talks about all of her friends and teachers.

- Mother

Thank you so much for taking care of my precious cargo.  I left them both crying at times (I even left crying sometimes too!) but returned to smiles every day.

- Parents

My twins, Samantha and Anthony, have been with Kindercare for two years now.  The decision to leave my kids in daycare was very difficult for me but once I saw how well adjusted they were and how quickly they adapted to their teacher, my mind was put at ease. The fact that my kids call me Miss Alisha demonstrates just how comfortable they feel with their teacher and how much they love her.  I can truly say that I never worry about them when they are at daycare.  The teachers treat them as if they were their own children.  Thank you Miss Alisha and all of the staff at Kindercare for making my experience and my children's so wonderful!  I truly appreciate all you do for them and our family.
