Your Infant (6 weeks – 1 year)

We provide a safe and nurturing “home away from home” where babies can grow and learn every day by exploring and making new discoveries.

Our Early Foundations® Infant program helps babies grow, gain mobility, and develop intellectual and social skills for a lifetime of success.

We are committed to making this first transition away from home easy and natural for you and your child as she takes her first steps toward a bright future.

Your Infant's Day

The experiences infants have during the early months of life are crucial to healthy brain development. Lots of personal attention and interaction between our teachers and your infant will promote basic intellectual and social skills. Singing, reading, and talking are just some of the behaviors that support development during this critical stage.

Early morning drop-off is a time for child-directed activities such as building with soft blocks or playing with puzzles. Play time is scheduled every day to help children learn and grow physically. Infants in our care will nap and rest as needed. We help infants make smooth transitions between activities by letting them know a change is coming, for example, the caregiver provides a song, finger play, or story to assist the change.

Because each infant is on a different schedule, our passionate teachers create an individual infant activity plan for every child. Infants are presented with activities that boost the brain, encourage first words, build strong bodies and help make new friends.

At KinderCare, your infant will have a full day of learning, playing, and socializing to help her grow in every way possible.
