Choosing the right care and learning environment for your child is a big decision—especially when you’re balancing the demands of military life. That’s why we’re proud to partner with Child Care Aware® of America and military branches to offer fee assistance for eligible active-duty families.
You might be eligible for fee assistance.
If you’re part of the U.S. Military, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. National Park Services, or U.S. General Services Administration, you can use child care fee assistance to lower the cost of care with us. We also accept subsidies administered through the USDA Child Care Subsidy Program. Contact your branch to learn more about specific eligibility requirements.

How to Apply for Military Daycare Assistance at KinderCare®
When on-base or DoD child care centers are at capacity, Military Child Care in Your Neighborhood (MCCYN) steps in to help. Here’s how to get started:

Create an Account: Visit MCCYN.com to create an account and verify your eligibility. Already approved for MCCYN? Skip to step 3.
- Apply for Assistance: Select “MCCYN providers” to browse approved KinderCare centers near you. Pick the location that fits your family’s needs and submit your application.
- Schedule a Tour: Connect with the center director at your preferred KinderCare location to schedule a tour. Don’t see your nearest center on the list? Reach out to your center director, a nd we’ll make it happen!
- Complete Enrollment: Once approved, you’ll receive an email to accept the offer in your MCCYN account. We’ll work with MCCYN to finalize enrollment and apply your savings!
- After you Enroll: To avoid a gap in funding, plan to submit for renewal 4-6 weeks before your funding expires. Once you submit for renewal, contact MCCYN to track your status.
