AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited - nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference, and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

What Learning Looks Like

Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.

KinderCare of Plum Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)

Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and ready to explore their world.

Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)

Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)

This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them get used to a more structured school setting.

Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)

This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step: kindergarten!

Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)

When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language, math, science, Spanish, and social skills.

Transitional Kindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)

If your child finished pre-K but missed the kindergarten cutoff date, transitional kindergarten is a great stepping stone to big-kid school. Our project-based learning model emphasizes critical thinking, communication, and creativity. Kids take lead roles on projects and complete them in small groups.

Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program

Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)

In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication, and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!

Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)

KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math, science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare way of learning the foundations of music.

Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)

Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program. From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we have the data to prove it.)

STEM Innovators (3-8 Years)

You’ve probably heard a lot about how important STEM education is for your child, but what does that really mean? Our STEM Innovators program takes kids’ natural ability to make sense of the world and applies it to robotics, chemistry, coding, geology, and more. While your child experiments, they’ll discover how to use technology to do amazing things!

Our Teachers

We're the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn't enough though. KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply, we love our teachers and your child will, too.

Family Stories

Don't take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!

  • My 10 month old daughter started at KinderCare in Murrysville when she was three months old and has thrived with her loving and dedicated teachers.  As a first time parent who works full time I was very anxious about leaving her at daycare, especially because she was nursing, but the KinderCare staff was receptive to special requests and provided me with daily feedback about how she was transitioning.  Today my daughter is crawling all over the infant room, starting solids, and saying several words.  Her teachers have encouraged her throughout her development and continue to provide her with the stimulation and activities she needs to learn and grow.  I love seeing her teachers get just as excited as her father and I about her “firsts” such as when she pulled herself up or said kitty. We can’t thank the staff and her teachers enough for all they do for our daughter and us.

  • My husband and I received our foster child at a young age of four and a half weeks. We had not even had our own children in daycare so we were very nervous about sending her to daycare and waited until she was eight weeks old to start a program. Prior to that, however, I called a few in the area and received only one call back and was told they would not have an opening until December for an infant. I called Plum KinderCare on the advice and praise of my next door neighbor and spoke with Amber who assured me there was an opening for our child and invited me to visit any time. Upon my arrival to the center, I was met by Kelly and Krystal who were in the infant room and I immediately felt like I had known them all my life. I felt so comfortable that I signed her into the program that day. Since that day back in July, I have nothing but positive comments about the center. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and always courteous and kind. My foster child is very loved at the center and I am completely happy with all her care she receives there. Getting pictures almost daily really helps me smile. I like to follow the monthly calendar and read about what activities are scheduled daily and try to include her if possible. I enjoy reading her daily report about her activities that day and always know when she last napped and last bottle she had. It really helps us plan for our evening. I would recommend KinderCare to anyone. I am completely satisfied with our choice and so happy that my foster child is happy and loves all day long. Choosing a daycare is one of the most important choices a parent has to make and assurance that my baby is safe and happy and so loved and is always being stimulated is why I love KinderCare and never question our choice.

  • When looking for daycare for your child, it can be a very stressful thing. While checking out places for our daughter to go to, I asked a bunch of questions and all of them were answered, and they were the answers I was looking for. KinderCare has become my daughter’s second home, and she loves everyone there. The teachers they have make an effort everyday to make sure that she (and even I) have a great day. It was a hard adjustment for the both of us to make. The transition couldn't have gone smoother. It took her about two to three weeks to get use to the routine but once she did, she was having a great time! She has become a very smart, bubbly and loving child. Without her time at KinderCare, I do not believe she would be that way. On our way into school in the mornings, she stops at the kitchen area to say hi to Ms. Sharon. It just sows that everyone in the center really does care about your children. My daughter even knows which car Ms. Krystal drives and gets excited when she sees it! If I had taken her to a a different daycare I don't think she would be the way she is. She is very advanced for her age and a lot of it has to do with the things she does everyday with Ms. Angela and both of the Ms. Krystals! She loves you guys just as much as I do! I can not thank you enough for making my daughter into the bright little girl she is! I can't wait to see all the fun and exciting stuff you have planned coming up!

Does my child need to be potty-trained?
