AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED
We’re so proud!
Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited - nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference, and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY
What Learning Looks Like
Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.
Silverlake KinderCare Programs
Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)
Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and ready to explore their world.
Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)
Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.
Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)
This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them get used to a more structured school setting.
Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)
This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step: kindergarten!
Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)
When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language, math, science, Spanish, and social skills.
Before- and After-School Programs (5–12 Years)
You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!
School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)
Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused on fun. We welcome children ages 5–12 during school break times and make sure they have a sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.
Participating Child Care Aware Center
KinderCare partners with Child Care Aware® of America to offer fee assistance for Active Duty military families and flexible support to fit their needs when care at a Child Development Center on the installation is not available.
Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program
Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)
In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication, and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!
Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)
KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math, science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare way of learning the foundations of music.
Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)
Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program. From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we have the data to prove it.)
Spanish
Spanish Adventures provides young learners with a foundation for later success with the Spanish language. Music, games, children's Spanish literature, and other tools give children multiple opportunities to hear, practice, and see Spanish language to develop vocabulary and conversation skills. Curriculum includes lessons on greetings, numbers, colors, animals, family, body parts, and pets, as well as how to engage conversationally during common scenarios at home, a restaurant, or at the zoo.
Our Teachers
We're the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn't enough though. KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply, we love our teachers and your child will, too.

A KINDERCARE TEACHER WITH
An Artist's Heart
"My classroom is full of art!” says Mary Annthipie-Bane, an award-winning early childhood educator at KinderCare. Art and creative expression, she says, help children discover who they really are.

We put our best-in-class teachers in a best-in-class workplace. We're so proud to have been named one of Gallup's 37 winners of the Great Workplace Award. When you put great teachers in an engaging center, your children will experience an amazing place to learn and grow.

I wanted to express our gratitude to the Director as well as all of the staff of Silverlake KinderCare. You have given our son exceptional care and countless opportunities for learning and fun. He has positively changed over the last year and grown so much and matured. My family will forever be grateful for the amount of care and attention you show him on a daily basis. We definitely recommend Silverlake KinderCare to all of our friends and neighbors.

I am so happy that my family found Silverlake KinderCare. Ms. Shanna is an organized, courteous, and enthusiastic Center Director who always strives to promote the best in her staff and children of the center. After a bad experience at another preschool, we were hesitant about putting our two boys in another facility, but when we walked into Silverlake KinderCare and were greeted with smiling faces, we knew this was it. We had found a safe place for our children. At that time, my oldest son stayed for a few hours to "explore" and when he came home he exclaimed, "Mommy, I have a new school and it is awesome!" He had participated in an art project and made a picture of himself with his new friends. The Center Director obviously is careful in her hiring process, and it shows in all of the Teachers. They are nurturing, caring, and have huge hearts and a passion for teaching. It has been over a year since our decision and we could not be happier. We have even added our new addition to the family, who will also be added to the Silverlake KinderCare family along with her two big brothers. Silverlake KinderCare is great overall. From the leadership, the staff, and the cleanliness to the curriculum, we love it all. I appreciate the long hours the management put into the center to make it run so smoothly. No matter what day of the week or how early, I know I will get a smile and a warm greeting when we walk in the door. It truly feels like home.

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Silverlake KinderCare, Ms. Shanna, and all of the amazing staff. Due to scheduling conflicts, we must move our son closer to our home. We cannot thank you enough for taking such good care of him for the past three years. I still recall dropping him off on his first day and being greeted by every staff member in the building. I highly recommend Silverlake KinderCare to anyone who wants highly professional, consistent, and stable care for their child, regardless of their age. I cannot recall a single instance in the past three years that gave me or his mother cause for concern. As a father of a rambunctious little boy, I am grateful that you allowed him to be a little boy: learning, running around, getting dirty while he played, and most of all showing him love and making him feel safe and secure. I could not have asked for better care than what your center provided.

In January of 2007, my husband and I became the proud parents of a beautiful baby girl. As new parents, we were best described as cautious and overprotective. So when researching child care, I was initially very hesitant on the idea of someone else helping raise my baby. I worried I would never be able to return to work; however, after touring Silverlake KinderCare, I enrolled my child and to this day it was the best decision we made! I was welcomed in with a warm and friendly smile, and to this day, I still receive the same greeting when I come to get my daughter. For months, I went to Silverlake KinderCare to feed her on my lunch break. The staff made me feel welcome each and every time and never made me feel like a burden. With each transition, my daughter loves her new teachers and misses the old ones, but she still goes and "visits" them on occasion. I appreciate that I can always come and talk to Ms. Shanna or Ms. Jessie regarding my child and how she is doing, or just to get their opinion on designs for her birthday décor! My husband and I enjoy participating in all of the family functions Silverlake KinderCare offers, and our favorite is the classroom parties. Our daughter is our number one priority and for that reason it is important that she is safe, she learns, and is in an environment that is comfortable and friendly. Silverlake KinderCare is all of the above and more! I can't think of a decision more important than finding a place for your child to be taken care of while you are working; with that being said, I would highly recommend Silverlake KinderCare to anyone who asks.

We moved to Pearland about 9 years ago and Kindercare on County Rd 90 is the center that we selected for our son. We eventually had another son that went to the center as well from 8 weeks all the way to 7 years old. The staff at the center was a blessing to our family. If you are looking for a center that loves and cares for your child like their own then this is the center for you. They are more than child care providers, they end up being part of your family. Our children are older now and are no longer going to daycare, but we still (and will always) have a lifelong connection to the staff and the center.

When I brought my daughter here she was so scared and nervous but the staff there made her feel so safe and she bonded so much with the teachers there. She would talk about them all the time and she would tell me she loves her teacher. At the time she started she was in pullups and I tried to get her trained. The teachers took the time and helped me on getting her trained. Before I knew it she was fully trained. The teachers there are so wonderful. They took so many photos of her, and while I was away from her. They made it possible for me to be able to see the good food she was eating, and playing with her classmates. I feel her teachers that she had made a huge impact in her life. They treated her like she was apart of the Kindercare Family. Staff is amazing. And I so recommend this place too all families.
