AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited - nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference, and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

What Learning Looks Like

Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.

Edwardsville KinderCare Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)

Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and ready to explore their world.

Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)

Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)

This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them get used to a more structured school setting.

Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)

This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step: kindergarten!

Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)

When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language, math, science, Spanish, and social skills.

Participating Child Care Aware Center

KinderCare partners with Child Care Aware® of America to offer fee assistance for Active Duty military families and flexible support to fit their needs when care at a Child Development Center on the installation is not available.

Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program

Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)

In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication, and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!

Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)

KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math, science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare way of learning the foundations of music.

Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)

Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program. From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we have the data to prove it.)

STEM Innovators (3-8 Years)

You’ve probably heard a lot about how important STEM education is for your child, but what does that really mean? Our STEM Innovators program takes kids’ natural ability to make sense of the world and applies it to robotics, chemistry, coding, geology, and more. While your child experiments, they’ll discover how to use technology to do amazing things!

Our Teachers

We're the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn't enough though. KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply, we love our teachers and your child will, too.

Family Stories

Don't take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!

  • We have two girls at Edwardsville KinderCare and we can't say enough great things about them! The teachers here are the most loving, educated, and fun teachers I've seen. They are always coming up with creative new ways of teaching that make learning fun. They also provide a warm, comfortable environment for the children to grow and interact. We've seen our quieter child come out of her shell and thrive. We've also seen our more strong-willed child learn better skills for coping with daily obstacles. Most importantly, I feel very comfortable with my children at KinderCare and I have peace of mind when I'm away at work knowing my girls are with their second family.

  • I just wanted to write you and inform you how incredibly pleased and impressed I am with my Edwardsville Kindercare experience. I am incredibly particular with my child care--I have looked all over and KinderCare exceeds my expectations in all aspects. As a parent, we are skeptical at putting our child in a new environment, because some places are not always what they seem. I know that from experience, at KinderCare, they are more than what they seem. When I first toured the Edwardsville facility, I thought it was a little smaller from the previous place that I was at it. Now that I have been there I have found that is what I love about this facility is, in fact, its smallness because it's like family. All of the teachers, children, and parents know one another, whether they are the children's teacher or not. I toured the facility multiple times before I enrolled and I noticed the children's art projects are really creative and unique--like art, not just scribbles on a piece of paper with one crayon. My children are so happy to go there that when I pick them up, they make me wait until they are done with their project before we can leave. The teachers go above and beyond, and it's incredible. They truly love their job and love the children and it shows. They do so many activities with the children and the children learn so many important qualities that are essential to life. I really can't say enough about how great it is and how thrilled I am with the choice I made to enroll my children in Edwardsville Kindercare. I would not hesitate to recommend that any parent do the same.

  • KinderCare in Edwardsville is a great child care facility. We love KinderCare for many reasons--one of the most important reasons is that we can drop of our son daily knowing he is in a safe environment and being taken care of while we are away. Not only do we know that he is being cared for, but he is also enjoying the day, playing with friends, and learning new things. One of the reasons we switched to KinderCare was that we felt our concerns and requests were not being addressed with our initial facility. We have a much better comfort level now knowing that if we request certain things, the teachers listen and help accommodate them. Additionally, we were looking for a stimulating environment where our son would grow and learn. We love that there are daily activities, art projects, sensory and discovery activities, reading time, etc. to help our son develop and grow. Furthermore, we really like the additional field trip activities and water/outdoor play that makes the days even more fun for the kids! We are also pleased with how the teachers keep us informed with his daily sheets and fill us in on any concerns or even interests that our son has. I have kept all of his projects, artwork, and photos that have been sent home with us. It is nice to see what our son is up to during the day and what things he is enjoying. It is nice to know that our son is being taken care of and enjoying his day at daycare. He is learning new things and loves playing with the other kids in his room. Thanks for everything, KinderCare!

  • When we found out we were pregnant, we took a day off of work and went to seven different centers. We knew right away we wanted a center because we didn't know anyone in the area enough to trust with our baby. We walked in and out of centers. KinderCare was our last visit of the day. We didn't call ahead, of course. We just showed up, because I wanted the real experience. We toured the center and spent time talking with Laura H. We left the center and as we walked to the car, we turned to each other and said "That's it. That's where we're going." I cried my eyes out the first day we left our baby and called probably every day for a week. I would show up randomly just to say "Hi" or "accidentally forgot something." I was never looked at funny and never felt unwelcome. We have had two more babies, and this time each of them went to KinderCare the day they turned six weeks old. Each time we left them in the same teacher's arms, and I had no hesitation. We knew they would be nurtured and cared for and loved just as our first was. And they are. We left our six-week-old baby hooked up to a holter monitor, requiring heart medication and packed away a stethoscope in her cubby, and knew that she would be okay. This center is where our daughter has learned to read, where our son learned to sit still...well, we're still working on that...and where our youngest is loved and given cuddles. We have friends who say they would never leave their kids at a center; only with an in-home center. We are blessed that we can say we leave our children with family.
