AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited - nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference, and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

What Learning Looks Like

Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.

Ray Avenue KinderCare Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)

Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and ready to explore their world.

Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)

Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)

This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them get used to a more structured school setting.

Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)

This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step: kindergarten!

Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)

When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families in our community. Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language, math, science, Spanish, and social skills.

Participating Child Care Aware Center

KinderCare partners with Child Care Aware® of America to offer fee assistance for Active Duty military families and flexible support to fit their needs when care at a Child Development Center on the installation is not available.

Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program

Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)

In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication, and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!

Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)

KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math, science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare way of learning the foundations of music.

Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)

Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program. From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we have the data to prove it.)

STEM Innovators (3-8 Years)

You’ve probably heard a lot about how important STEM education is for your child, but what does that really mean? Our STEM Innovators program takes kids’ natural ability to make sense of the world and applies it to robotics, chemistry, coding, geology, and more. While your child experiments, they’ll discover how to use technology to do amazing things!

Family Stories

Don't take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!

  • I do want to add my thankfulness and appreciation to you and your school. I was nervous coming there when we first started due to past bad experiences, and I have to say [my son] has never loved school so much. He has been welcomed by each and every teacher, and student since day one. Before KinderCare, he never woke up actually excited to go to school, and it's a great feeling knowing he is safe and secure while I am at work. I can never thank you enough for all you have given to my family.

  •   As a first time mom I had a lot of anxiety and concern in placing my daughter in daycare. I had the wonderful opportunity to stay home with her for the first two years of her life. When she turned two, she was eager to learn everything about the world and was showing signs that she wanted to interact with children her own age. My mother, a school teacher, searched many daycares/pre-schools to help me find just the right place for my daughter and her first grandchild. KinderCare in Burlington [Ray Ave] was the place she recommended to me.
I can remember my first visit to KinderCare back in August. We had to be buzzed into the locked doors of KinderCare. Safety, was definitely one of my biggest concerns. Next, we were greeted by the Director who, with her smile and energy, radiated kindness and confidence. We went to her office and she was so patient and non judgmental of my many questions and concerns. She answered all of them and in a short time, eased my worries. As we took a tour of KinderCare, I could see that it was a very clean, organized, bright colored environment. Everyone we met in the hallways acknowledged us with a smile. As a dance teacher of young children, I know how important a loving, caring teacher can be for a child’s development.
After my first visit, I decided to give KinderCare a try. My daughter was so used to being with me 24/7. So as you can imagine, this was a big transition for her. On our first day, I was told I could stay with her as long as I needed to help her feel comfortable. She was very shy at first and clinging on to me. We sat together for circle time where each child had their name on a paper that they would place on a board to find out who was here today. The teacher would help each child say the days of the week and weather signs. She engaged my daughter with the ‘sun’ symbol and asked if she was ready to participate. At no time did I feel discouraged. Her teacher said, “That’s okay, take your time.” I was so impressed with the patience and control the teachers had over the class and all the structure and activities they had in the classroom.
My daughter is a very active child and the last few months before placing her in KinderCare she was having a very hard time falling asleep for naps or at bedtime. I became a very tired mother. I was reassured by the staff that having my daughter attend their program she would grow and learn. Boy were they right! I can not begin to tell you the difference I have seen in my daughter since she began attending. On her first day there without me, I came to pick her up half day and she was napping with all the other children, something I thought she would not be able to do. At first I had her enrolled two days a week for a half day. I was able to call at any time to check up on her and never felt like I was being an over protective mother or a nuisance to the KinderCare staff.
I can not begin to tell you the difference KinderCare has made not only for my daughter but for us as a family. Before KinderCare, my mother was the only other person I trusted to watch my daughter. Now I honestly feel like KinderCare and all their wonderful staff is a second family. They greet my daughter by her name every morning. She loves her teacher and runs to hug her and has made friends she looks forward to seeing each day. I now am able to return to work knowing I am not abandoning my child, but instead, feeling joy that she is not only being taken care of by loving hands, but learning how to share with others, listen to her teachers, learn her alphabet, how to use the potty etc. I now am able to get my daughter to sleep at night by rubbing her back, something I learned from KinderCare. My daughter will now be enrolled 5 days a week. Something she wanted, she was sad on the days she was not attending. What more proof could a mother want than to have her child want to return time and time again! I could go on and on about how wonderful KinderCare has been for us, but it might turn into a novel instead of a letter. I am beyond pleased and grateful to KinderCare and all it’s staff for their excellent services. I would and will recommend KinderCare of Burlington Ray Ave to any mother looking for a place to bring their child.

  • My children have attended the Burlington KinderCare for the past year and I can't say enough about how great the teachers are. They not only care about the children, but also the parents. Each night when I pick up my kids I am greeted by each teacher with such enthusiasm I can't help but smile at the end of a long day. The teachers always inform me of how the kids did that day but they also stop to ask how I am doing. My son has special dietary needs due to numerous food allergies and KinderCare has gone above and beyond accommodating his needs. Their diligence and caring helped to make a difficult time less stressful. At the Burlington KinderCare I feel like I am part of a family.

  • My girls have absolutely loved being here. They have both flourished so much. Even my one anti-social butterfly has definetly sprouted some wings!
