Upon graduation from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Renee began teaching full-time in the Prekindergarten classroom. Renee invited her Prekindergarten children to her wedding and has now seen those children getting married and having children of their own. She and her husband have two sons and a black lab-border collie mix. Renee enjoys spending time at all of her sons' sporting events and camping with her family and friends. Camping trips are often combined with amusement park visits since she loves roller coasters.
After babysitting many children throughout high school, Renee began working with KinderCare part-time while in college. She has done every job in the center over the past 25 years. Renee was hired at the West York center and transferred to the Centerville location to become a director after 15 years. Three years, later the East York director position opened up, and she was excited to fill it.

Carly started at KinderCare teaching in the Prekindergarten classroom. After a year, she moved to the younger toddler classroom before becoming the Assistant Director in November 2010. Carly enjoys playing sports, traveling and hanging out with friends and family.
During her junior year of high school, Carly was a teacher's assistant for a kindergarten classroom and during her senior year, she was a teacher's assistant for a third grade classroom. Throughout college, Carly worked as a summer camp counselor for Spring Garden Township and did her internship for the Town of Ocean City in the summer camp program. After college, Carly became a member of KinderCare, teaching in classrooms until becoming the Assistant Director.
"I love seeing the smiling faces of every child. Being such an important part of helping them grow is a wonderful gift."
Ms. Kristy worked at KinderCare after high school for a few years and then moved to Minnesota where she worked in retail. As soon as returned to Pennsylvania she applied to come back to KinderCare because she missed the children. Ms. Kristy and her son have a few pets that they love to show to the children. She loves being with the new babies and easing the new moms back to work.
Ms. Kristy previously worked as a daycare attendant at her local gym.

Ms. Tracy loves to nurture the babies as they transition from infancy to toddler-hood. She enjoys talking with parents and sharing stories of about her two sons and all of the other children she has cared for over the years.
Ms. Tracy has previous experience working as a School Age caregiver and Toddler teacher.
"I love watching children learn and grow, and I love knowing I was a part of that experience."
Ms. Barbie grew up in the area but moved closer to our center in March of 2013. She and her boyfriend enjoy nature and often go fishing on the weekends. Ms. Barbie is excited to begin working toward her Child Development Associate's Credential in the near future. She would also like to learn more American Sign Language to add to the signs she already knows so she can improve her Toddlers' communication even more.
Prior to joining KinderCare Ms. Barbie held Toddler and Infant teaching positions at a another center and worked as a nanny to an infant.
"I am excited to watch the children grow. I try my best to help them learn in many ways and to ensure that they all have a positive experience during the time I have them."
Becky and her fiance moved to East York in May of 2013. She enjoys visiting her family, hiking at Rocky Ridge and shopping during her time off. Becky comes from a large family; she has 4 siblings. Since the age of 12 Becky has been helping to care for her younger siblings which inspired her to begin working in the childcare field at when she turned 17.
Prior to joining KinderCare Ms. Becky worked at two other daycare centers.
"I love to provide security and happiness for children. I love early childhood curriculum and get excited when I can incorporate cooking into their day!"
Ms. Jenny and her husband moved their son and dog to our area after working at another KinderCare for six months. She loves to cook with her class and has made some yummy healthy treats. Jenny is excited to begin taking some classes to further her education.
Ms. Jenny previously worked at three other childcare centers and worked as a Kindergarten aide and First, Second and Third grade teacher.
"I love knowing that I have an important part in the early education of our young children."
Ms. Tonya has been a Preschool teacher at our center since she was hired. She received her Child Development Associate's Credential in October of 2009. Ms. Tonya feels that the relationship she has with her children and their parents is a very important part of the children's early learning experience. She feels the input from parents helps her to teach in a more positive way. Ms. Tonya is an avid Baltimore Ravens fan and enjoys watching games with her husband, son and daughter.
Prior to joining KinderCare Ms. Tonya spent three years as a Preschool teacher at two local centers that are now closed and six years as a substitute teacher in a Maryland public school.
"I have always had a love for children. Teaching, guiding and helping children develop has always been a passion."
Ms. Trasie transferred to East York after moving with her husband 4 sons and 2 dogs to Pennsylvania in December of 2013. The family made the move across the state line to be closer to family. Trasie enjoys reading, looking for antiques and of course playing with her Jeep!
Ms. Trasie transferred to our center from a KinderCare located in Maryland.
"I feel like I make a difference in the lives of my children. I know that I am helping them to be all they can be."
Ms. Andrea began her tenure with KinderCare in Maryland while she attended college. Upon graduating and moving to Pennsylvania, Ms. Andrea transferred to our center one-and-a-half years ago. She studied at Towson University where she received her Bachelor's of Science Degree in Elementary Education. She loves working with technology as a means to interest children. Ms. Andrea is a huge Baltimore Orioles fan; she and her father and brothers have traveled all over to watch their games!
Ms. Andrea has had several school internships in the Early childhood Education field.

Ms. Becky has held many positions at KinderCare since her arrival in 2001. She has a Bachelor's degree from York College of Pennsylvania and holds two certifications, Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. Outside of work, Ms. Becky enjoys spending time with her husband Andy and two sons, Logan and Tanner.
Prior to joining KinderCare Ms. Becky worked as a Kindergarten teacher at a recreation center.
"I enjoy being a part of the children's learning experiences."
After schooling her own children (two sons and a daughter) for eight years and volunteering in kid programs at church, Ms. Cindy took her love of working with children to Preschool. She has taught Prekindergarten for almost fifteen years, using her background in Spanish and sign language to create a fun learning experience.
Ms. Cindy has previous experience working as a Sunday School teacher and a Cotillion (dance) teacher.
"I love children and enjoy helping them learn; seeing their enthusiasm as they learn and grow."
Ms. Laura had taught in the public school system for thirty and a half years. She is the Learning Adventures enrichment specialist at our center. Outside of KinderCare Ms. Laura enjoys spending time with her family; she and her husband have a son and a daughter and four grandchildren. She also loves to sing and sings in our local chorus and her church choir.
Ms. Laura has previous experience teaching first grade for four years, one year teaching third grade and 25-and-a-half years teaching Kindergarten.

Ms. Giusi attends Millersville University and is studying Social work and Sociology. After completing her degree Ms. Giusi would like to continue her work with children, perhaps in the area of adoption. Ms. Giusi loves spending her free time with her family. She is Italian and speaks a little Italian but is not fluent. Together they enjoy watching movies, being outdoors and shoe shopping!
Ms. Giusi has previous experience in a toddler classroom at a family owned daycare center.
