At Knowledge Beginnings you know your child will learn and grow with our nurturing teachers and everyday curriculum. We see ourselves as a school, even for our young ages in infants and toddlers. You know when your child is here they will do so much more then just color or eat snack. We focus on the whole child developmentally, which allows us to implement curriculum that targets the child cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
Come be a part of our school, and watch your child learn and grow.

Many of our child care centers are accredited by national organizations that require us to meet rigorous early childhood education standards and guidelines for high-quality care and education. Programs that are accredited have demonstrated their commitment to go beyond the state’s minimum licensing requirements to meet and maintain these high standards of quality.
Babies grow and learn every day. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing "home away from home" where babies can explore and make new discoveries. We know that learning through play is extremely valuable at this age and our Early Foundations® Infant program is designed to give babies the skills that will serve as the building blocks for a lifetime of learning.
As toddlers develop friendships, self-esteem, and curiosity, our Early Foundations® Toddler program will help them explore their world in a safe and nurturing environment. Our unique curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best through experiences. So each day is filled with fun activities that excite and develop toddlers, giving them the comfort and confidence to speak those first few important words, as well as make their first friends.
At this age, children are making new discoveries daily. And as two-year olds begin to exert their independence, our Early Foundations® Discovery Preschool program is prepared to open their eyes to a world of learning, sharing, and exploring. Our holistic approach in the classroom engages young minds with a blend of music, art, and movement, as well as the early education fundamentals they'll need as they continue on to preschool.
As preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they may feel ready to take on the world. Our Early Foundations® Preschool program enhances that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and lifelong learners. Through independent exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, children will work on early literacy, math, science, and social studies concepts. A healthy dose of running, jumping, and dancing keeps them active too.
Prekindergartners are preparing for the adventure of a lifetime – school. And our Early Foundations Prekindergarten® program is designed to get them ready by teaching letters and words, math concepts, and valuable social skills. With small group instruction, independent play in an organized atmosphere, and whole-group activities, children will have all the right skills to hop, skip, and jump right into kindergarten.
As children reach school age, our comprehensive full-day kindergarten program helps them explore, communicate, and create – all in a nurturing, small-class setting. Our team of expert educators has created a unique curriculum of reading, language, arts, math, science, and physical fitness that’s presented in a fun way to encourage a lifelong love of learning. Plus, our program is aligned with local and state elementary school standards, so children will be prepared to confidently enter first grade.
Even after school's out for the day, children need to be engaged in a comfortable, yet stimulating environment. That's where our Catch the Wave® program comes in. This innovative before – and after-school program allows school-age children to balance learning and fun through a variety of experiences. From homework help to fun physical activities, our program is designed so that everyone goes home happy.
Don’t miss out on KinderCare’s Summer of Wonder: Six themed programs that will make summer exciting, educational and tons of fun. Whether your child is in our preschool, Pre-K or school-age programs, all of it is designed to help children learn while soaking up the fun. We offer flexible scheduling options to meet the needs of busy families like yours so we hope to see you there.
The Cooking Adventures program gives children opportunities to participate in fun, developmentally appropriate cooking experiences. They will learn about recipes, ingredients, cooking vocabulary, and the importance of a healthy diet. The curriculum includes lessons on picnics, pizza, and heart-healthy meals.
The Math Adventures enrichment program is designed to teach important mathematics concepts such as geometry, numbers, measurement, and probability. Your child will learn about length, height, and weight. He will learn about shapes and solids. He will learn how to add, subtract, multiply, and count money. Math is everywhere and giving your child every advantage now will add up to success later in life.
Ongoing research proves that early exposure to music helps children think, reason, create, and express themselves. Children will laugh and learn about rhythm, vocal melodies, and a variety of musical genres and instruments, which can lower stress and advance memory. Learning never sounded so good.
Set your child up for advanced success with literacy through phonics, the study of letters and sounds. Reader books, games, and activity cards help your child understand the basics of vowels and blending syllables, giving him confidence and command of language.
Children 6 weeks to 3 years old: Light and Dark, plus the Sky and Weather
Through shadow play, experiments with flashlights, observing the Sun and more, infants and toddlers will enjoy learning about light and dark this month. Infants continue sensory development by looking at contrasting patterns and at objects that are clearly defined by sharp edges and bright colors, while toddlers will build on their understanding of the light and dark concepts with play around daytime and nighttime. The older Discovery Preschool children will turn their attention to the sky as they learn about weather, the Moon, the Sun, and stars.
Children 4–5 years old: Transportation, Healthy Bodies, and Winter
For children in the Preschool and Kindergarten classrooms, January is filled with variety! They’ll begin by learning about transportation and studying how things get from “here” to “there.” A few weeks later, the focus will shift to health and bodies, with an emphasis placed on how to make good choices for a growing body. Towards the end of the month, children will be introduced to the transformative nature of the winter season and learn how to dress and take care of themselves when it’s cold outside.
The Teachers here are excited to get to know you and your child. Our passion is teaching! We also invite you to come meet all of us personally!

Emily does an amazing job working with our toddlers and helping them transition from the infant classroom into a more structured curriculum. She helps them explore art, sensory, and begin using their imagination in our dramatic play area. She also works with them on gross motor skills on our fun toddler playground and when the weather is nasty, in our indoor gym space.
Caylin and Heather make a great team! They focus on enhancing the enviroment, keeping the kids busy and they love to allow the kids plenty of opportunities to explore their artistic side!
Heather just joined our team but has a ton of experience working with toddlers and is already making a huge difference in her classroom. Her toddlers are starting to learn to potty train, in addition to continuing to explore their space and increase their confidence with language and fine motor skills.
Cindy leads our Discovery Preschool class. Her class is all about working through the critical potty training milestone while also preparing the children academically, socially and emotionally for that next big step to Preschool. In Cindy's class the children learn some basic writing and number recognition and are introduced to more opportunities in science. This is also the first classroom where the children start to have regular organized group time, and share in some of the responsibilities of the day such as being a weather helper or line leader. Cindy runs a highly energized room with plenty of time for fun, learning and potty training.
Allison loves making preschool fun for the children who have just finished mastering potty training and are really starting to get excited about learning to write, math and exploring science. In her classroom every enhancement is critical because it helps the children really experience each subject and theme.
Ms. Sabra is a teacher through and through. She uses every opportunity to teach the children weather it be a teachable moment within the class or the planned small group activity in the morning. Sabra is patient, kind and also very good at getting children out of their shells.
Nicole worked with us for a year running the Discovery Preschool program with Kati and has recently taken on the PreKindergarten classroom. She enjoys helping the children prepare to enter their very first year of public school and ensures they have plenty of opportunities to hone their skills.
Whitney and Ariel are an amazing team. The dynamics in this PreKindergarten class are simply amazing to watch. Every area is enhanced completely in every theme, allowing the children fantastic opportunities to be emersed in the curriculum. The strength of the math, science and writing skills being developed in this room is truly phenomenal. And, on top of all that, the children are always engaged and having fun.
Getting the chance to build relatioinships from the children and their families and also learning so much from the different backgrounds.
Ms. Ariel is a wonderful teacher. She is very organized and good with getting the children not only to try new things but learn and achieve new things. She is also very good with one on one conferences and assessments.
Kati worked with our Discovery Preschool children before moving to a Pre K class. She and Sara work together to make sure every child coming out of Pre K is ready for that next big step into Kindergarten! With a heavy focus on literacy and math skills, a healthy dose of scientific exploration, art and dramatic play, the children in her class are leaps and bounds ahead of their peers.
Ms Sara works alongside Ms Selina to bring the PreKindergarten classroom to life. She is a patient and kind teacher who works with the children in small groups to help prepare them for that crucial next step - Kindergarten.
Traci is an amazing Kindergarten teacher. She runs a solid program which incorporates the use of smart board technology and truly prepares children for school. In her classroom children learn in a 1:15 ratio, providing them with plenty of one on one support whether they need a little extra help or are performing at a 1st or 2nd grade level. Traci's breadth of experience allows her to customize her Kindergarten program for each individual student. This allows her to ensure her students are amply prepared for the next step in their academic career. Over the years, parents of children in her class have often asked ..."where is your first grade classroom?" They are so impressed and appreciative of their child's experience with Kindergarten, they have a tough time considering leaving to go to public school.
Jennifer works hand in hand with Selena to make the School Age program fun and keep the kids busy. They enjoy lots of different projects and they help the kids choose the topics they want to explore.
Ms. Selina is a great school age teacher. She keeps the kids engaged and excited during after school programs and school out days.
Christie runs our Learning Adventures programs and she is in high demand. These small classes allow the children to get extra help (or a chance to accelerate further) in phonics, math, music and cooking. The results are nothing short of amazing, and the children always participate in a number of musical events throughout the year to show off their skills.
Ms. Dawn is very creative in how she decorates her room and implements her curriculum. The children never have a dull day in any room Ms. Dawn is in, she is fun and amazing with teachable moments and parent interactions.
Children 6 weeks to 3 years old: Family, Friends, and Things that Go!
Infants and toddlers will be exploring family and friends, while three-year-olds will focus on things that go vroom! Social and emotional development is foundational to growth and development in babies, so this month, infants and toddlers will participate in activities that reinforce their connection to family while also exploring connections that exist outside their home, such as friends. Meanwhile, their older friends in Discovery Preschool will learn about and play around with things that move (like bicycles, cars, buses, trains, and airplanes), which are all very exciting for little ones as they continue to explore the world outside their homes.
Children 4–5 years old: My Country + Tools and Machines
The four- and five-year-olds continue exploring the world around them by learning about the state and country they live in! They’ll sings songs, play games based on travel, and learn about flags, state foods, and more. Children will also be introduced to cardinal directions (east, west, north, and south) and gain an appreciation for travel and meeting new friends from different places.
Children are naturally fascinated with machines and how things work and are put together. So to encourage that fascination, during the second half of this month children will learn about and play around with tools and machines. In addition to building literacy skills by using the names of machines and tools, children will develop math skills by graphing information, counting wheels, and more.
