Early childhood care and education plays an important role in the lives of all family members. It provides children with consistent routines and unlimited learning opportunities, and provides families with the security of knowing their child is in a safe and nurturing environment. Many children are enrolled in child care settings or facilities from the time they are infants to the time they enter elementary school. During these early years, children go through critical stages of development, and consistent, high-quality care can have beneficial and long-lasting effects on the overall development of children.

Of course, choosing a program in which your child will be loved and cared for is of utmost importance. But it is also important to select a child care provider who will partner with your family to ensure your child's healthy development throughout his or her early years.

We would love to visit with your family so you can learn more about us.  Call us today to schedule a tour.

Our Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks - 1 year)

Babies grow and learn every day. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing "home away from home" where babies can explore and make new discoveries. We know that learning through play is extremely valuable at this age and our Early Foundations® Infant program is designed to give babies the skills that will serve as the building blocks for a lifetime of learning.

Toddler Programs (1 – 2 Years)

As toddlers develop friendships, self-esteem, and curiosity, our Early Foundations® Toddler program will help them explore their world in a safe and nurturing environment. Our unique curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best through experiences. So each day is filled with fun activities that excite and develop toddlers, giving them the comfort and confidence to speak those first few important words, as well as make their first friends.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2 – 3 Years)

At this age, children are making new discoveries daily. And as two-year olds begin to exert their independence, our Early Foundations® Discovery Preschool program is prepared to open their eyes to a world of learning, sharing, and exploring. Our holistic approach in the classroom engages young minds with a blend of music, art, and movement, as well as the early education fundamentals they'll need as they continue on to preschool.

Preschool Programs (3 – 4 Years)

As preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they may feel ready to take on the world. Our Early Foundations® Preschool program enhances that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and lifelong learners. Through independent exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, children will work on early literacy, math, science, and social studies concepts. A healthy dose of running, jumping, and dancing keeps them active too.

Prekindergarten Programs (4 – 5 Years)

Prekindergartners are preparing for the adventure of a lifetime – school. And our Early Foundations Prekindergarten® program is designed to get them ready by teaching letters and words, math concepts, and valuable social skills. With small group instruction, independent play in an organized atmosphere, and whole-group activities, children will have all the right skills to hop, skip, and jump right into kindergarten.

Before- & After-School Programs (5 – 12 Years)

Even after school's out for the day, children need to be engaged in a comfortable, yet stimulating environment. That's where our Catch the Wave® program comes in. This innovative before – and after-school program allows school-age children to balance learning and fun through a variety of experiences. From homework help to fun physical activities, our program is designed so that everyone goes home happy.

Summer Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Don’t miss out on KinderCare’s Summer of Wonder: Six themed programs that will make summer exciting, educational and tons of fun. Whether your child is in our preschool, Pre-K or school-age programs, all of it is designed to help children learn while soaking up the fun. We offer flexible scheduling options to meet the needs of busy families like yours so we hope to see you there.

Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program

Cooking

The Cooking Adventures program gives children opportunities to participate in fun, developmentally appropriate cooking experiences. They will learn about recipes, ingredients, cooking vocabulary, and the importance of a healthy diet. The curriculum includes lessons on picnics, pizza, and heart-healthy meals.

Music

Ongoing research proves that early exposure to music helps children think, reason, create, and express themselves. Children will laugh and learn about rhythm, vocal melodies, and a variety of musical genres and instruments, which can lower stress and advance memory. Learning never sounded so good.

Phonics & Reading Adventures

Set your child up for advanced success with literacy through phonics, the study of letters and sounds. Reader books, games, and activity cards help your child understand the basics of vowels and blending syllables, giving him confidence and command of language.

Teachers & Staff

Our loving and devoted professionals at KinderCare are passionate about teaching and caring for young children. As a high quality child development program, our teachers exceed state minimum standards for education level and ongoing professional development. Their lifelong love of learning is evident in their desire to stay abreast of new research and teaching techniques. Families meet with teachers three times per year to review their child’s progress, which is documented in our developmentally appropriate assessments, portfolios and anecdotal notes about daily achievements. We feel privileged to work alongside families to form supportive and cooperative partnerships.

Health and Safety

Our top priority at KinderCare is to provide a safe and healthy environment for our children, families and staff. We do this through rigorous training and constant assessment and evaluation of proper policies and procedures. Your child’s security begins at the front door, literally. All guests and alternative pick up people are checked for identification and escorted through the building. Of course, our teachers have all cleared local, state and federal background checks, including fingerprinting. We are trained in infant and child CPR and First Aid. We do routine fire, storm and lock-down drills to prepare for the unexpected. Throughout the day, your child will be supervised at all times. No child is ever left unattended, even for a minute. Teachers have all been trained in supervision, discipline and guidance, and developmentally appropriate practices to ensure they understand the risks associated with the children in their care. If your child has food allergies or specific medical conditions, we will work with you to ensure your child’s well-being while in our care. We also take the responsibility of your child’s emotional security very seriously. We want every child to feel safe, loved and respected while at KinderCare.

At KinderCare, what families say about us means a lot. Read below some of the great experiences our families have had with us.

Share Your Story
If you have a story about your experience at KinderCare, please share your story with us.

Our experience with KinderCare for the last two years has been outstanding!

We foster medically fragile children: some with physical needs others with developmental delays.  We know in our hearts that the staff is a huge part of why these children flourish and thrive.  The teachers in the infant and toddler rooms are highly skilled with a focus on growing strong little bodies and curious, happy minds.  They are always open to any physical therapy requests we have, offering more tummy time, keeping up on the latest on DME (durable medical equipment) care and offering one on one attention to get our kiddos up to speed with loving care and kindness.

The administrative staff is just as supportive, not only do they encourage and nurture our kiddos, but they also give us support and encouragement to continue with this calling to be foster parents.
It is not an easy road being a foster parent:  there are many difficult days and heartaches from dealing with the court system, but the staff let us know every day that they appreciate our efforts.  They are an integral part of our success with these kiddos, a core part of our team.  I can’t imagine doing this wonderful, difficult, amazing thing without all of them!

We could go anywhere in Tucson, we choose KinderCare for the education setting coupled with knowledgeable, loving staff.  Thank you for all you do for our family

- Foster Mom

Being a first time mom, I was hesitant to take my daughter to a child care center.  I thought it would be hard for my daughter to adjust, but KinderCare ended up becoming an extension of our family!  I couldn't be happier with Kindercare, and my daughther even cheers when we arrive in the parking lot.  I love that it is something she looks forward to.  As a parent I love how they keep me informed and everyone knows my daughter by name.  I always recommend KinderCare because I know my friends will be just as happy there as I am.  I feel confident leaving my daughter there and know this as her happiness shows how great they are with her.  She has picked up great social skills, counting, her alphabet and more!  All by attending Kindercare in their one and two year old programs. We know that she is having fun, but we also know she is learning.  We love KinderCare and look forward to coninuing our relationship with them for many years to come.

- Parent

I am a single mom raising a two-year-old child, but with all the help and support from the wonderful people at KinderCare, my son is learning more than I could ever teach him. They sing, play games, teach manners, and are even helping with potty training. Thank you KinderCare! Special thanks to Ms. Donna, Ms. Leah, Ms. Kathy and Ms. Foster. who have worked directly with my son.
