Welcome

Welcome to the Roseville KinderCare! Our school has been a trusted provider in the Roseville area for nearly forty years! Our school and teachers are dedicated to developing the whole child while partnering closely with our families to ensure a balance between home and school.
Our goal is to help children grow and develop socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually by using "play" as our primary teaching tool. As children develop friendships, self-esteem, and curiosity our unique hands-on approach combined with our research based curriculum will help them explore their world in a safe and nurturing environment. Our programs are designed to encourage children to become confident, happy, and self-aware as well as fully prepared for Kindergarten.

AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited–nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference, and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY

Our kids are taking off!

By kindergarten, our kids are testing ahead of their peers. Read all about it.

Accreditation

Many of our child care centers are accredited by national organizations that require us to meet rigorous early childhood education standards and guidelines for high-quality care and education. Programs that are accredited have demonstrated their commitment to go beyond the state’s minimum licensing requirements to meet and maintain these high standards of quality.

Monthly Activities

February's Learning Focus

Children 6 weeks to 3 years old: Feelings + The Farm

This month, infants and toddlers will explore a very important aspect of human development: feelings. Babies are just beginning to develop a sense of who they are in relation to others, while toddlers are learning how to interact with those around them. Feelings are integral to human interaction, so activities will focus on identifying emotions (like happy, sad, and mad). We’ll read books, paint a mural, sing songs, and play games related to emotions and how we express them.

The children in Discovery Preschool will take their learning to the farm! Farms are filled with so many science- and social science-based learning opportunities that children love. They’ll learn all about barns and farming equipment, which animals are raised on a farm, and which crops are grown there, too.

Children 4–5 years old: Occupations and Dinosaurs

The older children in Preschool and Transitional Kindergarten will spend time on two very popular themes: occupations and (roar!) dinosaurs. We’ll focus on learning about jobs that help people, like doctors, and those that inspire, like artists and musicians. As children learn about these occupations, they’ll play dress up, invent things, create charts and graphs, and learn the Spanish words for different jobs. The dinosaur unit gives them a chance to learn more about these fascinating giant creatures, learn about fossils, explore volcanoes, and do math puzzles with pretend dino eggs!

Our Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks - 1 year)

Babies grow and learn every day. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing "home away from home" where babies can explore and make new discoveries. We know that learning through play is extremely valuable at this age and our Early Foundations® Infant program is designed to give babies the skills that will serve as the building blocks for a lifetime of learning.

Toddler Programs (1 – 2 Years)

As toddlers develop friendships, self-esteem, and curiosity, our Early Foundations® Toddler program will help them explore their world in a safe and nurturing environment. Our unique curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best through experiences. So each day is filled with fun activities that excite and develop toddlers, giving them the comfort and confidence to speak those first few important words, as well as make their first friends.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2 – 3 Years)

At this age, children are making new discoveries daily. And as two-year olds begin to exert their independence, our Early Foundations® Discovery Preschool program is prepared to open their eyes to a world of learning, sharing, and exploring. Our holistic approach in the classroom engages young minds with a blend of music, art, and movement, as well as the early education fundamentals they'll need as they continue on to preschool.

Preschool Programs (3 – 4 Years)

As preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they may feel ready to take on the world. Our Early Foundations® Preschool program enhances that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and lifelong learners. Through independent exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, children will work on early literacy, math, science, and social studies concepts. A healthy dose of running, jumping, and dancing keeps them active too.

Prekindergarten Programs (4 – 5 Years)

Prekindergartners are preparing for the adventure of a lifetime – school. And our Early Foundations Prekindergarten® program is designed to get them ready by teaching letters and words, math concepts, and valuable social skills. With small group instruction, independent play in an organized atmosphere, and whole-group activities, children will have all the right skills to hop, skip, and jump right into kindergarten.

Participating Child Care Aware Center

KinderCare has partnered with Child Care Aware® of America in an effort to offer fee assistance for Active Duty military families and solutions to their child care needs when care at a Child Development Center on the installation is not available.

Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program

Math

The Math Adventures enrichment program is designed to teach important mathematics concepts such as geometry, numbers, measurement, and probability. Your child will learn about length, height, and weight. He will learn about shapes and solids. He will learn how to add, subtract, multiply, and count money. Math is everywhere and giving your child every advantage now will add up to success later in life.

Music

Ongoing research proves that early exposure to music helps children think, reason, create, and express themselves. Children will laugh and learn about rhythm, vocal melodies, and a variety of musical genres and instruments, which can lower stress and advance memory. Learning never sounded so good.

Phonics & Reading Adventures

Set your child up for advanced success with literacy through phonics, the study of letters and sounds. Reader books, games, and activity cards help your child understand the basics of vowels and blending syllables, giving him confidence and command of language.

Teachers & Staff

We are so excited to introduce you to our amazing teaching team! Each teacher we invite to work at our school has a passion for education and loves helping kids grasp concepts while watching them grow.

Share Your Story
If you have a story about your experience at KinderCare, please share your story with us.

My son has been attending Roseville Kindercare for the past year. He is 20 months old and in the toddler room. The teachers read him books (all the time! Little guy loves books!!), give him hugs, and make sure he is happy. I love that the teachers have taken the time to know his personality (as much as you can for a toddler!) and they always tell me silly or special things that happened during the day. The teachers get the kids outside multiple times a day to play and they do lots of art projects. I love that they always send home pictures of the my son working on his art or playing with friends at school! It's so hard to be away from your kids during the day, but little extras like pictures and notes home make a world of difference. He is also learning so much and I am constantly surprised by the new things he is saying and doing. Based on my experience in the infant and toddler rooms, we are very happy with Roseville Kindercare!

- Mother

I am so very pleased with our Roseville KinderCare. It is like being a part of a big, happy family. All the teachers are so wonderful with the kids. I love the structure that they have and all of the things they have taught my daughter. She partakes in the Phonics program and can read and write before Kindergarten. The summer program is amazing and they give you calendar of all the activities the kids do everyday and also offer family activities. My daughter is going to Kindergarten this fall and I know she will be super successful because of KinderCare. They will be missed sorely and I highly recommend every family to enroll with this great group of people.

- Mother

Zack has been at the Roseville-Fairview KinderCare since August 2011. We selected this KinderCare because it was convenient and had an opening the following Monday. This was to be a temporary situation until Zack was returned to his birth parents.
Life has a way of changing, spinning on a dime sometimes and this has become a long term solution for our child care needs. We cannot begin to communicate to you how fortunate we feel regarding our choice of childcare providers. We estimate that maybe 10% of this success should go to the corporate headquarters for their decisions of how the centers should be run. The other 90% of this success goes to the teachers and staff at Roseville KinderCare, but specifically the teachers.
Zack has grown and developed under the tutelage of his care providers. He is learning the alphabet and to count. He is gaining socialization and life skills. He would not be the wonderful and caring young man that he is without the daily nurturing he receives at Roseville (Fairview Ave) KinderCare. Our hats are off to each and every one of you. Thank you!

- Parents

As a new parent it can be nerve-racking to leave your young infant in the care of someone else. But, we quickly saw how much Elliott enjoyed being in your company and in the presence of the other kids. You taught us things about our child that we would not have been so quick to learn on our own. At drop off time, it was so reassuring that Elliott would gladly leap out from our arms to yours ready for another fun day with his ladies. We simply wanted to say just how much we appreciate your excellent care over the last year.

- Parents

Our son was with KinderCare in Roseville for two and a half years. He enjoyed his time there immensely and we always felt good about dropping him off to the fantastic care and attention there. Bekah is a great director and Miss Randi, Ashley, Katy and many others did a wonderful job taking care of and educating our son in early childhood learning activities. I would not hesitate to recommend this center. Corporate efficiency and quality with family atmosphere of love and trust.
