AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited–nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference, and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY

Our kids are taking off!

By kindergarten, our kids are testing ahead of their peers. Read all about it.

Accreditation

Many of our child care centers are accredited by national organizations that require us to meet rigorous early childhood education standards and guidelines for high-quality care and education. Programs that are accredited have demonstrated their commitment to go beyond the state’s minimum licensing requirements to meet and maintain these high standards of quality.

Monthly Activities

February's Learning Focus

Children 6 weeks to 3 years old: Feelings + The Farm

This month, infants and toddlers will explore a very important aspect of human development: feelings. Babies are just beginning to develop a sense of who they are in relation to others, while toddlers are learning how to interact with those around them. Feelings are integral to human interaction, so activities will focus on identifying emotions (like happy, sad, and mad). We’ll read books, paint a mural, sing songs, and play games related to emotions and how we express them.

The children in Discovery Preschool will take their learning to the farm! Farms are filled with so many science- and social science-based learning opportunities that children love. They’ll learn all about barns and farming equipment, which animals are raised on a farm, and which crops are grown there, too.

Children 4–5 years old: Occupations and Dinosaurs

The older children in Preschool and Transitional Kindergarten will spend time on two very popular themes: occupations and (roar!) dinosaurs. We’ll focus on learning about jobs that help people, like doctors, and those that inspire, like artists and musicians. As children learn about these occupations, they’ll play dress up, invent things, create charts and graphs, and learn the Spanish words for different jobs. The dinosaur unit gives them a chance to learn more about these fascinating giant creatures, learn about fossils, explore volcanoes, and do math puzzles with pretend dino eggs!

Our Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks - 1 year)

Babies grow and learn every day. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing "home away from home" where babies can explore and make new discoveries. We know that learning through play is extremely valuable at this age and our Early Foundations® Infant program is designed to give babies the skills that will serve as the building blocks for a lifetime of learning.

Toddler Programs (1 – 2 Years)

As toddlers develop friendships, self-esteem, and curiosity, our Early Foundations® Toddler program will help them explore their world in a safe and nurturing environment. Our unique curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best through experiences. So each day is filled with fun activities that excite and develop toddlers, giving them the comfort and confidence to speak those first few important words, as well as make their first friends.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2 – 3 Years)

At this age, children are making new discoveries daily. And as two-year olds begin to exert their independence, our Early Foundations® Discovery Preschool program is prepared to open their eyes to a world of learning, sharing, and exploring. Our holistic approach in the classroom engages young minds with a blend of music, art, and movement, as well as the early education fundamentals they'll need as they continue on to preschool.

Preschool Programs (3 – 4 Years)

As preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they may feel ready to take on the world. Our Early Foundations® Preschool program enhances that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and lifelong learners. Through independent exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, children will work on early literacy, math, science, and social studies concepts. A healthy dose of running, jumping, and dancing keeps them active too.

Prekindergarten Programs (4 – 5 Years)

Prekindergartners are preparing for the adventure of a lifetime – school. And our Early Foundations Prekindergarten® program is designed to get them ready by teaching letters and words, math concepts, and valuable social skills. With small group instruction, independent play in an organized atmosphere, and whole-group activities, children will have all the right skills to hop, skip, and jump right into kindergarten.

Before- & After-School Programs (5 – 12 Years)

Even after school's out for the day, children need to be engaged in a comfortable, yet stimulating environment. That's where our Catch the Wave® program comes in. This innovative before – and after-school program allows school-age children to balance learning and fun through a variety of experiences. From homework help to fun physical activities, our program is designed so that everyone goes home happy.

Summer Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Don’t miss out on KinderCare’s Summer of Wonder: Six themed programs that will make summer exciting, educational and tons of fun. Whether your child is in our preschool, Pre-K or school-age programs, all of it is designed to help children learn while soaking up the fun. We offer flexible scheduling options to meet the needs of busy families like yours so we hope to see you there.

Participating Child Care Aware Center

KinderCare has partnered with Child Care Aware® of America in an effort to offer fee assistance for Active Duty military families and solutions to their child care needs when care at a Child Development Center on the installation is not available.

Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program

Cooking

The Cooking Adventures program gives children opportunities to participate in fun, developmentally appropriate cooking experiences. They will learn about recipes, ingredients, cooking vocabulary, and the importance of a healthy diet. The curriculum includes lessons on picnics, pizza, and heart-healthy meals.

Math

The Math Adventures enrichment program is designed to teach important mathematics concepts such as geometry, numbers, measurement, and probability. Your child will learn about length, height, and weight. He will learn about shapes and solids. He will learn how to add, subtract, multiply, and count money. Math is everywhere and giving your child every advantage now will add up to success later in life.

Music

Ongoing research proves that early exposure to music helps children think, reason, create, and express themselves. Children will laugh and learn about rhythm, vocal melodies, and a variety of musical genres and instruments, which can lower stress and advance memory. Learning never sounded so good.

Spanish

Spanish Adventures provides young learners with a foundation for later success with the Spanish language. Music, games, children's Spanish literature, and other tools give children multiple opportunities to hear, practice, and see Spanish language for vocabulary and conversational development. Curriculum includes lessons on greetings, numbers, colors, animals, family, body parts and pets as well as how to get engage conversationally during common scenarios at home, a restaurant, or at the zoo. Qué pasa?

Teachers & Staff

We are blessed to have such a dedicated and caring staff at our center. We all strive to treat each child as they are our own and make it a daily goal to reach out to any child in need and offer guidance, assistance, love or support in whatever they may be facing in this fast paced, ever changing world.

Health and Safety

We have multiple security measures in place to ensure that the children remain safe in our care. The front door is locked with a coded keypad. All back doors leading to the playground can only be opened from the inside or with a key. All staff is trained in CPR and First Aid. Thank you for supporting me and my nephew in our search of a school that would be a place for him to feel safe, but also to learn and make new friends. He has struggled with this social skills and coming in and seeing him with new friends has made it easy for me to go to work.

- Uncle

To Whom it may concern:

I just want to start out by saying how much I love the staff at KinderCare.  I have two children that attend and my youngest had a hard time adjusting at first, but Cindy and her team worked hard to gain his trust.  Now he doesn't want to leave and they continue to love him and treat his as there own. As for my oldest child we had been struggling with potty training.  Her teacher Ms. Tia worked with me and my child to get her potty trained  I would recommend KinderCare in Moore to anyone looking for childcare.

Sincerely,
Kristen M.

- Mother

To Whom it may concern,

Our two boys currently attend Kindercare, and our baby girl will soon be attending as well.  We first came to this center when our oldest son was about four years old.  He was being removed from another daycare center up the street due to behavioral issues.  At that time, we were just beginning to address his behavioral issues medically and we did not really know what we were dealing with, only that he was an extremely difficult child.  The other center he was at infromed us that, although they knew we were working with him, they couldn't continue to deal with him.

When we first met with the director of this center Cindy Fletcher, to tour the facility and discuss enrollment, she was very understanding regarding our concerns about our son, and stated that they would be willing to work with him.  I was amazed at how she did not seem alarmed or hesitant to enroll him based on what we shared with her.  He was later diagnosed with ADHD.  Cindy and her team have really gone out of their way to work with him.  They understand that he is not a normal, now nine year old, little boy, that he prefers to be spoken to like an adult and that he does not respond well to every personality.  They have worked with him and flexed to his needs many times.  Whether it be bringing in a teacher from another class that he responds well to, or simply taking the time to learn how to re-direct him.  They have been able to help him overcome most of his challenges.

We have never asked them for special treatment, bue we have not had to.  Cindy and her staff have just been willing to do what they needed to do in order to make every day a success for both of our boys.  Since day one, they have treated us more like a family than just people that bring their kids there every day for childcare.  We will always recommend this center to anyone in need of childcare.

Sincerely,
Rey and Tara V.
