We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited–nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference, and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

Our kids are taking off!

By kindergarten, our kids are testing ahead of their peers. Read all about it.

Many of our child care centers are accredited by national organizations that require us to meet rigorous early childhood education standards and guidelines for high-quality care and education. Programs that are accredited have demonstrated their commitment to go beyond the state’s minimum licensing requirements to meet and maintain these high standards of quality.

Our Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks - 1 year)

Babies grow and learn every day. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing "home away from home" where babies can explore and make new discoveries. We know that learning through play is extremely valuable at this age and our Early Foundations® Infant program is designed to give babies the skills that will serve as the building blocks for a lifetime of learning.

Toddler Programs (1 – 2 Years)

As toddlers develop friendships, self-esteem, and curiosity, our Early Foundations® Toddler program will help them explore their world in a safe and nurturing environment. Our unique curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best through experiences. So each day is filled with fun activities that excite and develop toddlers, giving them the comfort and confidence to speak those first few important words, as well as make their first friends.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2 – 3 Years)

At this age, children are making new discoveries daily. And as two-year olds begin to exert their independence, our Early Foundations® Discovery Preschool program is prepared to open their eyes to a world of learning, sharing, and exploring. Our holistic approach in the classroom engages young minds with a blend of music, art, and movement, as well as the early education fundamentals they'll need as they continue on to preschool.

Preschool Programs (3 – 4 Years)

As preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they may feel ready to take on the world. Our Early Foundations® Preschool program enhances that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and lifelong learners. Through independent exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, children will work on early literacy, math, science, and social studies concepts. A healthy dose of running, jumping, and dancing keeps them active too.

Prekindergarten Programs (4 – 5 Years)

Prekindergartners are preparing for the adventure of a lifetime – school. And our Early Foundations Prekindergarten® program is designed to get them ready by teaching letters and words, math concepts, and valuable social skills. With small group instruction, independent play in an organized atmosphere, and whole-group activities, children will have all the right skills to hop, skip, and jump right into kindergarten.

Before- & After-School Programs (5 – 12 Years)

Even after school's out for the day, children need to be engaged in a comfortable, yet stimulating environment. That's where our Catch the Wave® program comes in. This innovative before – and after-school program allows school-age children to balance learning and fun through a variety of experiences. From homework help to fun physical activities, our program is designed so that everyone goes home happy.

Summer Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Don’t miss out on KinderCare’s Summer of Wonder: Six themed programs that will make summer exciting, educational and tons of fun. Whether your child is in our preschool, Pre-K or school-age programs, all of it is designed to help children learn while soaking up the fun. We offer flexible scheduling options to meet the needs of busy families like yours so we hope to see you there.

Participating Child Care Aware Center

KinderCare has partnered with Child Care Aware® of America in an effort to offer fee assistance for Active Duty military families and solutions to their child care needs when care at a Child Development Center on the installation is not available.

Learning Adventures - Enrichment Program

The Cooking Adventures program gives children opportunities to participate in fun, developmentally appropriate cooking experiences. They will learn about recipes, ingredients, cooking vocabulary, and the importance of a healthy diet. The curriculum includes lessons on picnics, pizza, and heart-healthy meals.

The Math Adventures enrichment program is designed to teach important mathematics concepts such as geometry, numbers, measurement, and probability. Your child will learn about length, height, and weight. He will learn about shapes and solids. He will learn how to add, subtract, multiply, and count money. Math is everywhere and giving your child every advantage now will add up to success later in life.

Ongoing research proves that early exposure to music helps children think, reason, create, and express themselves. Children will laugh and learn about rhythm, vocal melodies, and a variety of musical genres and instruments, which can lower stress and advance memory. Learning never sounded so good.

Phonics & Reading Adventures

Set your child up for advanced success with literacy through phonics, the study of letters and sounds. Reader books, games, and activity cards help your child understand the basics of vowels and blending syllables, giving him confidence and command of language.

September's Learning Focus

Children 6 weeks to 3 years old: Spaces and Places and All About Me
As infants and toddlers explore the spaces and places around them, children in Discovery Preschool will learn all about what makes people the same as well as what makes them different. Infants will experiment with moving toy cars around, build block towers and then knock them down, and even take a tour of the center to see what things are like outside of their classroom! Toddlers will get all revved up as they take a closer look at different vehicles and learn more about neighborhoods, communities, and the jobs that grownups have. In Discovery Preschool, children will be learning about themselves as they play games that strengthen their five senses, discuss feelings and emotions, practice self-help skills, and work on learning the names of body parts.

Children 4 to 5 years old: All About Me and My Home and Family
It’s the beginning of the school year—the perfect time to get to know each other better! Older children will be spending time sharing about themselves, their homes, and their families as they learn what makes people the same and what makes them different. Children will bring their own experiences to the drawing board as they create group stories and 3-D collages about families and homes, pantomime different home- and family-related activities, and draw self-portraits. With our curriculum’s project-related learning component, children in Transitional Kindergarten work together to decide on an individual or whole-group project related to the theme. Past projects have included creating a class book about emotions or working together to build a small-scale home, but who knows—the children may come up with a unique idea that’s entirely their own!

Health and Safety

Keeping your child safe and secure is our first priority. Our center is equipped with a front security door, of which only enrolled families have the code needed to enter. For added security, this code is changed periodically. In addition, we ensure security by strictly following established procedures for your child’s arrival and departure. All children must be signed in and out on our computer system, and other attendance procedures are followed in accordance with state child care licensing regulations. We value your child’s health and recognize the importance of cleanliness. We use Lysol products for cleaning and sanitizing, which involves the staff following a daily cleaning checklist to ensure all areas of the classroom are being cleaned on a regular basis. We also know preventing the spread of infectious diseases is an important and necessary component of quality child care. We actively strive to monitor the health and well-being of all children in our care. If a child is recognized as having certain communicable diseases, necessary control measures will be followed, including notifying you of any instances of a contagious disease in the center.

At KinderCare, what families say about us means a lot. Read below some of the great experiences our families have had with us.

Share Your Story
If you have a story about your experience at KinderCare, please share your story with us.

Both of my kids go to KinderCare on Main St. in Menomonee Falls. I just wanted to say how much my kids love it there! My son only goes part time since he is school age, but my daughter is enrolled full time. She will be three years old next month. She loves the teachers and has so many friends there. She is learning so much! They are teaching her some Spanish and she can now count to ten in Spanish, which I think is awesome! She is always talking about her friends and her teachers. Everyone there is so friendly and welcoming, and the Center Director Alison is amazing! I can go to her with any questions I have and she almost always has an answer right away, and if she doesn't, she always gets back to us. We have never had a problem with her or any of the teachers there. We feel like and are treated like family there! We just love it!

- Mother

Our daughter has been attending KinderCare since she was one year old. I was so nervous! It has been 14 years since I have had a child in daycare. The staff made me feel so at ease. My daughter was in her clingy stage, but the staff handled her very well. Since she started, she has graduated from the Infant Classroom and the young Toddler Classroom, and she is now enrolled in the older Toddler Classroom. All of the staff truly cares about all of the children. They treat them like their very own. Keep up the good job, Main Street KinderCare, and know that your center is safe and a wonderful place for any child to attend. Thank you!

- Mother

My children have been going to this KinderCare for a little over two years now. I couldn't be happier with this facility! The staff is wonderful and sensitive to each child and their needs. I never have to worry about them while I am at work. If my daughter has an early release day from school, I know the KinderCare bus will make sure she is safely transported back to the center. My three-year-old son has learned so much and comes home singing a new song every day. He loves "his Ms. Jeffanee!"

- Mother

My husband and I have been sending our oldest son to Main Street KinderCare for about three years, and our second son for about a year and a half. The main reason we picked KinderCare is their flexibility. My husband works second shift and has an odd working rotation. With KinderCare, we let them know a week in advance what our next week's schedule is. They are so flexible. If we need our boys to be dropped off for a full day or a half day, for one day or for five days a week, they accommodate our needs. We really love that about KinderCare. We also love the fact that we don't have to pack a lunch/snacks for our boys. Everything is provided by the center, even baby formula and jar foods. We only had to bring in diapers and wipes. We haven't experienced this yet, but we love the options that they have a "shuttle bus" that will pick the boys up from school when they get a little older. The staff is extremely friendly. They inform me about what kind of day my boys had and what they learned that day. Each day we get a little "progress report" on the day. It informs me on what they ate, how well they ate, if they took a nap, and for how long. It shows when the diaper was last changed. At the bottom is a little paragraph stating what they "worked" on for the day. Another great thing about the staff/management is they don't want our sons to be excluded out of fun activities. My boys go mostly in the afternoon, so if the class is doing a fun activity in the morning before lunch, I will get a phone call asking if we can bring the boys in earlier so they can be included in the fun activities. We had the option of eliminating daycare once our second son was born. Both my husband and I agreed that our oldest son learned so much in his time there, we decided it was best for our boys to continue to go to KinderCare. My list could go on and on about the things my boys learn there. I'm amazed about how much my boys learn in the time they are at KinderCare and they don't even go full time! I just think about what they could learn if they did go full time. We love it at KinderCare and so do our boys!

- Mother

Our relationship with Alison, Sarah, and the team at Main Street KinderCare started in January of 2011 when I returned to work after the birth of our first child. Since that time, we have had a second child, so we currently have a toddler and an infant attending the center every day. Overall we have been very pleased with the care our children have received. When I interact with the staff, I can sense that they truly care about our children. They demonstrate genuine concern when one of them is sick, and they express interest in their activity and development outside of the center as well. We are regularly impressed by what they have learned at the center and appreciate the structure the hour-by-hour schedule provides. I love to hear silly stories about what our kids have done throughout the day, and the team consistently shares those with me without me having to ask. I would recommend this KinderCare location to anyone who asks.

- Parents

Main Street KinderCare provides an exceptional learning and social environment. My four children have greatly benefited from their loving structure, both socially and academically. Due to the foundation that they received at KinderCare, my two school-age children excelled in their transition into their private school. My two younger children, who currently attend KinderCare, are thriving through their phonics and mathematics programs. The teachers and assistants are more than caregivers, they are a group of amazing individuals who help to mold my children's futures. KinderCare is a true blessing in our lives.

- Parents

There are many reasons why I love that my son is enrolled at KinderCare. As a single mom, it is nice to get all of the help I can. It is so wonderful to have a place where I feel my son is safe and cared for. It takes a lot of stress off my shoulders. My son has been enrolled in KinderCare since he was eight weeks old. I believe he has learned so much from everyone he has come in contact with at KinderCare. I had my son first enrolled at the KinderCare in Mequon. I was very nervous about moving my son from one location to another. I was worried about how he would react, but everyone at the Menomonee Falls locations were welcoming. He truly took to the teachers very fast. I appreciate everything that the people of KinderCare have done for both my son and I. I would not want my son enrolled in any other daycare!

- Mother

My husband and I were always very skeptical about sending our children to a daycare. Both of us grew up with our parents and/or grandparents around to take care of us. Between this biased view and everything negative you read about daycares, we decided to do our best to send our daughter to friends' homes and to cut back our hours at work. Once she turned one, we decided to look into a type of schooling for her and stumbled upon this KinderCare. Not only were we impressed with first impressions of the facility, but we were also impressed with their willingness to work with our odd job hours. The Center Director and teaching staff are wonderful! They helped me to feel comfortable with leaving my daughter with "strangers" and took the time every day during drop-off and pick-up to talk about my daughter's day. We are overly impressed with the amount of thought that goes into the curriculum even for the one-year olds. I am a teacher and it was very important that my daughter had structure and began a love for learning early in her life. It is amazing just how much more her vocabulary and social skills have developed at such a young age. Every room that she has been moved to has made us happy. When there have been concerns, everyone has been understanding and very quick to solve the issue and make me feel relaxed immediately. My husband and I are expecting our second child and look forward to sending her here as well!

- Parents

I would like to thank the staff of KinderCare on Main Street in Menomonee Falls. When my son first started at KinderCare, he was very shy. He has come out of his shell and is eager to learn. The staff is always very caring and reaches out to each child in a very special way. My son loves going to KinderCare each and every day.

- Grandmother

I wanted to rave about Ms. Becky and Ms. Kellie, the Infant Teachers. The girls have been doing an amazing job with my daughter and all of the other babies in their room. I cannot tell you how happy we are with them both. Ms. Kellie has been exceptionally great. I feel like she really tries to take care of the children like they are her own and, to a mother, that means a lot. I was so pleased when she listened to me on Monday when I came in to pick up my child and explained about her teething necklace and how she has been using it at home. She also listened to me talk about where my daughter should be in her “Wonder Weeks.” Yesterday when I picked up my daughter, Ms. Kellie raved about how she did so well with her teething necklace at school and that it really did help her throughout the day. She also said she noticed that my daughter was not getting enough stimulation yesterday when it was just her and the younger babies in the room, so she took her on a field trip to Baby Room B to play with the older babies. She said my daughter was so excited to see her friends, finger paint, and loved washing her hands in the sink. Ms. Kellie also said that per our conversation about “Wonder Weeks,” she played puzzles with my daughter to help her learn the skills she should know--and she was able to put two out of five pieces together! All of this really melted our hearts to hear when Ms. Kellie told us about the day. I cannot thank Ms. Kellie enough for being so open, really listening to what a parent has to say, and taking care of my daughter like she is her own child.
