Nancy Czopek, Center Director
Bio:
Nancy has been with KinderCare a total of 21 years. She is passionate about creating a dynamic hands on learning environment at our school. Nancy strives to serve her families by providing a loving, learning, safe place for the children in her care. She is honored to do so.
Previous Experience:
Prior to working in Early Childhood Education Nancy managed a health club and even released an aerobic CD. However, Nancy's real passion is working with children.

I have a poster that states my feelings about what I do an my accomplishments that is right outside my office and has traveled with me throughout the years with KinderCare. It says… "A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove…but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child."

Sara Lauer, Assistant Director
Bio:
Sara has been with KinderCare for three years, all of them at the Louisville KinderCare. Sara has a real passion for the children in the school and can often be found rocking a baby in the Infant Classroom or reading a story to another classroom. Sara has a daughter of her own and loves to spend time with her family on the weekends. Someday Sara hopes to be the Center Director of the Louisville KinderCare when Nancy retires! In fact, Sara is two classes away from obtaining her Director's License!
Previous Experience:
Prior to working for the Lousiville KinderCare, Sara worked as the Cashier Lead Supervisor for Water World for 10 years, where she worked with teenagers. Previous to that, Sara worked with the Hyland Hills Park and Recreation District coaching toddlers and young children how to figure skate.

Ms. Jessica, Infant Classroom
Bio:
Ms. Jessica has been working with KinderCare for two years. She has worked with all age groups from six weeks to 12 years and now supervises the nursery. Ms. Jessica works with the infants on baby sign, does a lot of sensory activities and builds relationships with them so they feel comfortable to explore their environment.
Previous Experience:
Ms. Jessica has worked with Summer Camps, the Before and After School program, three-year-olds, and was a Center Director.

Ms. Mercedes, Infant Classroom A
Bio:
Ms. Mercedes has been with KinderCare since 2006 and working in the Early Childhood Education field since 1999. Ms. Mercedes graduated high school and got her Public Relations Associate's degree in Spain. She received her Early Childhood Education credentials at Mount St Antonio College in California. In Ms. Mercedes' classroom the infants will always have their needs met and get lots of hugs, cuddles and snuggles. In her free time, Ms. Mercedes loves to spend time with her husband, two sons and her dog. They enjoy traveling, movies and exercise!

Ms. Yeng, Toddler Classroom
Bio:
Ms. Yeng started at KinderCare in 2009. She has three beautiful children and has been married for eight years. Ms. Yeng loves to be organized and make sure her classroom is theme evident. Ms. Yeng loves being a part of the children's lives and to be a role model.
Previous Experience:
Before working for KinderCare Ms. Yeng worked at Head Start as the Assistant Teacher in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Ms. Wendi, Toddler Classroom and Health and Safety Teacher
Bio:
Ms. Wendi has been with KinderCare for two years. Ms. Wendi brings sign language into the toddler classroom because she knows how frustrating it is for the children to not be able to always communicate their needs or feelings with words. She has four children of her own ranging from 10-17 years of age. She loves watching the toddlers learn. Ms. Wendi loves how much time she gets to work directly with the children in her classroom.
Previous Experience:
Ms. Wendi was a Para-educator for three years and a special education teacher for two years as well.
Ms. Debbie, Toddler Classroom
Bio:
Ms. Debbie has been with KinderCare just over a year and when she comes into the room the kids call her name. She takes care of the kids as if they are her own. Her love and passion for the toddlers is great and strong. The children who have been with Ms. Debbie in the past as to come back and visit her at the end of the day when given the chance.
Previous Experience:
Prior to working at KinderCare Ms. Debbie worked for Children's World and did at home child care. Ms. Debi works part-time for KinderCare and works full time for Monarch K-8 in their kitchen as a cook.

Ms. Debi, Kindergarten Classroom
Bio:
Ms. Debi has worked in education for more than 20 years. She has worked in many settings including schools, centers, outdoor education and the YMCA. Ms. Debi loves teaching kids about science and sharing the excitement of learning.
Previous Experience:
Ms. Debi has worked for both the public school system and for private schools teaching Kindergarten and Preschool.

Ms. Abi, Floating Teacher
Bio:
After receiving her Bachelor's Degree from CSU, Ms. Abi began working in Independent and assisted living centers. She later decided to switch age populations and work with young children. Ms. Abi has the most experience in the Infant and Toddler Classrooms. She is currently working toward her second degree in Computer Information Systems from Metro State University of Denver. Ms. Abi is very thankful to have the opportunity to work for KinderCare and continue influence children's lives in a positive way.
Previous Experience:
Ms. Abi has worked at two other preschools prior to working at KinderCare.

Mr. Tyler, Learning Adventures Classroom and Private Tutorials
Bio:
Mr. Tyler has been working for KinderCare for five years. He has a background in elementary education and just recently completed his early childhood education associate's. Mr. Tyler works with children of all ages and teaches private tutorials including Phonics, Reading, Spanish, and Math.
Previous Experience:
Previous to working at KinderCare Mr. Tyler worked as a Literact Intervention Specialist in elementary schools.

Ms. Katie, Various Classrooms
Bio:
Ms. Katie has been working at the Louisville KinderCare for five years and can't get enough of the children. Ms. Katie went to Front Range Community College to get her general education done and then transferred to CU Boulder to finish her Bachelors Degree in Communication. Even though Ms. Katie doesn’t have her own classroom she contributes a ton to the center. She loves doing her cooking class and making sure all the children are happy!
Previous Experience:
Before working for KinderCare, Ms. Katie was a waitress and loved it, however she loves working with children more!
